developing news. in sacramento, a live look where police are involved in a standoff situation in the oak park area, south of uc davis medical center. shortly after 7:00 tonight they saw a man in his 50s outside with a gun. the police received a report of a shot fired but nobody was hurt. police say the man went back into a home and now the swat team has been called out to help. sacramentoolice say they believe the man is inside the house by himself. we will continue to monitor this and keep you posted. firefighters were worry about responding to homes without smoke detectors. so this is what they did. >> reporter: getting a knock on the door by firefighters
