news. good morning, thank you for waking up with us on this tuesday morning, may 7th, i am pam cook. >> let's check weather and traffic, how are we looking? >> very mild, cloud cover, lows are near 60s and a lot of this low cloud deck is still there but look at that gray sky. it will be a cloudy morning and kind of muggy, 70s for many. we have a huge back up 680 coming down out of the sunole grade at varice compass. is was the result of a crash and somebody was killed want to lanes are open and it is not adequate for this time of morning and it is causing a huge back up. they want to get over to

mission boulevard but a lot of people are already doing that. caltrans sweeper is already on the scene along with evidence on the tow truck but they are still waiting to remove the body and that's what the hold up will be, let's go back to the desk. continuing news involving a toll lent bmw. this is happening on silver creek road. well say one of the suspects is wanted before crashing into a brick wall. they believe they may be wanted for two other robberies last month. >> we discovered it was identical and it was the same bandanna, same gloves, it was

very distinctive. >> they believe one of the suspects may be pregnant. now to our continuing coverage of the deadly limousine fire, this morning they will tell us the names of the find went out side of a care center where the victims worked. i just spoke to them a short time ago and she tells me all nine women riding in the limo were current or former employees here at this nursing home. >> reporter: i went inside and chatted with one of the people who works here and i also saw there were flowers left throughout the building and at the nurse's station in particular. we do expect the coroner to positively identify the five women who died in the fire, we have learned the names of three

of them. mary g. guardiano jasmine desguia, nelia arrellano, and she worked at a hospital and was eye didn't paid to antigen any died in that burning limo, she was a wife of two, her husband spoke with us and tells us -- jenny died in that burning limo and the two had balloons up and hours before she was killed, she hosted a 10th birthday party for her daughter. >> she is a loving friendly and understanding. and very caring sweet person.

>> her husband said he is waiting for authorities to release her body and they will bring them back to be able to say good wife to the five women, amalia loyola, jasmine desguia, mary guardiano and nelia arrellano. they were headed there when the limousine caught fire and the chp is still trying to figure out why the car ignited. later on this morning, we do expect the coroner to release the names of the five went once we have that information we will certainly pass it along to you. it could be several weeks before we know what caused that deadly fire. they have not inspected the remains of the limo. however we do know about one violation tied to this tragedy. that limousine cass carrying 9

passengers and the limousine for that lame mow was 8. and stay tuned, we will bring you all of the latest being both on air and on line. happening now at a busy intersection and how it is a affecting the morning commute. >> reporter: it is only 6:00 and perhaps around 8:00 we will start to see some arrive and the sinkhole has been cordoned off and cars are allowed to move around it. this happened at 5:30 last night and news chopper 2 caught second and lake street and a neighbor said a car drove over the road and a short time later, the ground began opening up creating a 20-foot hole.

on tow trucks, however, there is one big point and they are waiting for the coroner to get out there. southbound 680 is a mess and they are constructed down to two lanes and news chopper 2 is showing this backup, it is terrible. southbound 608 is back -- 680 is backed up for miles and miles and you need to call ahead and let people know you will be getting in late or use the canyon and a lot of people will be doing that am i realize it is san jose but you still have time to do that. bay bridge toll plaza is backed up for a 15 or 20 minute delay. let's go to steve. is that backed up for the

celebrating 100 years, oakland bay's color racks. -- color rocks -- color objection cl or ax. it is may 7th, i am dave clark. >> and palm cook, time now 6:30. three suspects ended in a big crash. janine de la vega is live on the scene to tell us how police tracked the suspects down and the connection one may have to an early morning robbery, janine? >> reporter: police say surveillance video and the clerk inside gave a detailed description of the suspect and they say the woman had a bandanna, gloves and was holding a 22 revolver and that's what helped officers tracker down. they tracked her down to silver

creek this morning and recognized the armed robbery suspects because she matched the description of a woman who robbed two different areas in san jose. she was found near king in those robberies and on a hunch, they went back to the same apartment complex and spotted her stolen bmw with two passengers inside. again, they crashed into a tree. >> again, the suspect driver who was involved decided to flee go towards 101 here. he also fled in that direction and the pregnant female got out of the car and just sat down. >> reporter: police arrested 22- year-old sharon gonzalez. the pregnant woman is madeline

and the man is damon garret, all are from san jose and are being treated for injuries at the hospital. it is unclear what sort of charges the passengers will face, but coming up from the 711 area, they have more information and updates, back to you. they just wrapped up a press conference about those three women found alive after being kidnapped. police say three brothers in the cleveland home were -- where the three women were fun to have been arrested. all three women left the hospital and just a few minutes ago, police had been called to this home before with no signs

of the missing women. >> police had responded twice to that address, once in 2000 and another time in 2004. >> now a 6-year-old child was also found in the home and police have not confirmed if one of the women is the mother of that child. we will have more on the investigation coming up in the next hour. and now to the deadly limo fire on the bridge, this morning they will have more on the five women on their way to the wedding party saturday night. here is more from the area where the victims all worked. they told me all nine women riding in that limo over the weekend were current or former employees at this nursing home in oakland. >> reporter: as you can imagine, they are devastated

and they said, all of these women were like family. you can see flowers had been left behind and we do expect the coroner in san mateo county to positively identify them. we have independently found the names of three of them. she and her husband were planning on getting married for a second time in the philippines. also killed 35-year-old michelle and her employer identified her as one of the victims. and jenny, she was a mother of two who lived in dublin. we spoke with her husband last night and he was told by a survivor all of the women tried to escape through a front

coming up , we will have more on this reaction. ktvu channel 2 morning news. 6:38 is the time right now and developing news we have been following in traffic on 680 and the sunole grade, let's check in with sal. we are looking at the backup on 680 and it looks like they started to open up the lanes but the traffic on 680 coming down from the road is going to be very slow. it has improved but traffic is going to be just very, very slow and if you have the luxury of waiting, you could wait this out, things are going to get better because of the lanes reopening so let's move along and take a look at the westbound bay bridge and that traffic is moderately heavy with a 25 minute delay. northbound 880 driving up to the union city fremont area.

200 other bolts will also need to be replaced. they are detecting cracking noises and so far they have not heard any other cracking and we will hear from they will open on september 3rd as planned. an expensive bike path, that will be debated tonight. the study will cost more than $56,000. the 49ers and the b ta are paying a company for restriping the roads for city traffic. now they are expected to approve that study tonight and they are offering lockers and valleys for those who ride their bikes to games. let's check in with traffic, we know the sunole grade, that is just sad. traffic is very slow, trying to unwind from a crash

and the lanes are blacked and we have see some dramatic improvement and things are unwinding leaving pleasanton for sunole. it is backed up for a 25 minute delay and it's on the slow side into san francisco but it's not completely bad. we had a late start and we had a lot going on right near 880, there was a minor crash on the shoulder and we had some slowing there. let's go to steve. mostly cloudy skies, shower activity, moving off and a lot of low clouds in place, over an inch of rain up in the keys. up in tahoe, 1.8 inches of rain not too shabby, but a lot of that snow turns back to rain

and it's too warm but still the beat goes on, we have they mild temperatures and it will take a lot of cloud cover with it and mostly cloudy, partly sunny skies, maybe a few showers but we are about done kind of a muggy pattern but still if you are up in the san joaquin county, we will still be dealing with some rain. a few showers overall the pattern is winding down. 60s and 70s and we are stating off near 70s so if you are doing anything outside you will notice the humidity factor is up. it does look a little bit warmer as we head towards the upcoming weekend.
