earlier this morning. crews late last night laid a 300 by 21-foot stretch on the two western most lanes but the pavement didn't cure and cars tore up the asphalt and kicked rocks on to other cars -- they closed the center lanes prompting a southbound tie up that stretched back to mare inn city. road work will continue into the morning. for now the southbound slow widens from 2 to 3 lanes but there are 3 instead of 4 lanes for traffic leaving san francisco. >> normally in the evening hours it is set up so there's 4 lanes go out but hopefully we can manage it. the on going problem is tonight is the giants game. >> the bridge authority this afternoon advised north bay giant fans to take the ferry

peek towards san ramone berkeley and oakland. so the forecast for tomorrow -- everyone will be looking at coastal fog and maybe low fog on the bridges and high clouds and mid level fogs overhead. there's the low pressure center there and it goes but it will linger. tomorrow a lot like today in terms of temperatures. into the weekend the low is far enough gone that the fog will be firmly established across the coast and into the mid 80s head nothing saturday and sunday santa clara 72. 75 san jose and 75 morgan hill. things are starting to turn around. it is spring.
