federal agents. inside the plane suspected drug traffickers. after a month of investigation they figured out this runway had been created in the middle of a sugar cane plantation. the gunshots you're hearing are shots being fired from this agent's car toward the plane. they're trying to shoot out the tires. >> it's like they're trying to perform a pit maneuver on the plane. >> they were able to get the traffickers out of this plane. five people were arrested as a result of this mission and get this, 234 kilograms of cocaine and cocaine products were confiscated. ♪ sure, this is a waffle house, but it looks like a ufc cage match. >> i ain't [ bleep ]. >> and the fight is on. these are waffle house employees

in augusta, georgia. or shall i say they are former employees. these employees started fighting and as you watch this video. [ bleep ]. you can see there are two fights going on between two sets of women. this person in the jacket i don't know if that person is trying to get on it or intervene but she's not doing a good job. >> this is a brutal fight. i mean one girl is on the ground and she does not get back up. the other girl is on top of her the entire time. here in the corner this woman, she has some hair at the start of the fight but at the end it went somewhere. >> imagine the incident report on this to the waffle house local manager. now the employees are going after each other? they have enough trouble with late night people starting fight, drunk people starting fights. now they have to worry about their employees. >> never understood the fight at the waffle house. the waffles are delicious. >> these women are particularly vicious with each other. she's got her on the floor, head on the ground, pulling her hair. [ bleep ].

>> and then, wardrobe malfunction. >> see the male employee is on the phone calling someone about what's going on. >> what i find kind of sad is that there are people walking up just watching this and you can see this young man here, clearly videotaping it but you're not hearing anybody say stop, stop, stop. >> when your life is on the line you really hope that someone jumps in to help and that's exactly what happened at this station in australia. pay attention to that man wearing that dress shirt and tie and black slacks. he seems to be disoriented and he starts to walk toward the railway tracks. he steps almost as if he doesn't realize that it drops down and, of course, he falls down on to the tracks. amazingly one of the women that was sitting there on that bench, is a nurse student. she saw this happening, immediately looks over to see if there was a train coming. she jumps down on to the tracks herself to provide aid to this man.

she's still keeping an eye to make sure there are no trains coming. this woman that just walked up is actually an employee of the station. she immediately got on her phone to call to make sure that trains were stopped and that nobody came. >> wow. >> this is quick thinking on everyone's part. >> that poor guy. he has no concept of what's going on. he seems to be out of it. he can't help himself at all. >> he's 56 years old and obviously in need of major help. she is able to get him to stand back up. she guides him back to the platform where there's another passenger there ready to help bring the man back up on to the platform. and she immediately jumps back on to the platform as well and because she is a nursing student is able to somehow help aid in figuring out what had just happened to him. >> do we know what happened to him? >> we don't know what the cause of his condition was, but he was taken to the hospital. lookt over this wall and people see a couple officials in the street

trying to contain this crowd. they are overrun. the guys wearing yellow are guards. this is a juvenile detention center that broke into a riot. one of the guys started unlocking cell doors. 40 juveniles managed to escape in this mess. then you just see smoke, guards inside the facility are trying to contain this riot using some kind of smoke grenade. that doesn't seem to work. look at the juveniles streaming across the roofs of the facility inside. >> your classic jailbreak. if you open the doors they aren't going to sit in their cells and wait for you to lock them back in. >> this is no the a well-guarded facility. >> this isn't the first time this has happened. there's been numerous incidents at this facility and others in colomb colombia. in all, 40 juveniles escaped. 33 were recaptured. one died from a gunshot. one suffered a broken leg from

jumping off the building. neighbors in the area suffered damage to their homes because the kids were using the homes to run across the roofs to make their escape. >> if they've had problems maybe they need to look into their security measures. >> they are looking into building other facilities and next year hoping to invest about 25 billion to enhance their juvenile detention facilities, building other buildings and revamping everything. >> put $25 billion into the schools and prevent children from having to end up in juvenile detention centers. a kayaker gets circle by a shark. >> he starts to get a little nervous. you can tell, a little kayak. >> yeah. >> see his daring getaway to not get eaten. a new way to ride and mail a card. >> how an ipad app is making i

the story of an unconventional and a bit controversial adoption. it's a story that we got from kptv. >> ashley. hi. >> little girl you're seeing there on your screen is 10-month-old ashley. she was adopted by the woman who gave birth to her. >> how does that work exactly? >> little ashley was once an embryo left over from in vitro fertilization. she was an embryo from an arizona couple who had undergone in vitro. a woman named samantha from washington who couldn't have biological children was thinking about adopting. she had adopted two children. she ended up on a website that informed her of this form of adoption. a doctor em planted that embryo in her uterus and she was able to carry the child to term. >> if you want to experience pregnancy it's a great option. >> it's controversial because there's a moral discussion of what should be done with embryos

used in in vitro because there are thousands of fertilized embryos left over from this medical process and discussion over what should be done with these embryos. >> i think this is a better option than just destroys them. this is the perfect way of giving that child life, albeit with a different family. >> this is nice because a huge part of motherhood is being able to carry your child. >> this is new technology leading to a new kind of family. >> i just held this tiny 5 1/2 pound beautiful peanut that i had grown somehow and it was surreal. >> pretty sure this guy wishes he was in a bigger boat. he's on a kayak off the coast of australia. see the camera dip under the water and who is lurking beneath the surface. >> a shark. >> he starts to get a little bit nervous because you can tell he's in a tiny kayak. >> these kayaks look like seals to the shark. like the body of a giant meal.

>> he waits about five minutes while the shark checks him out and he keeps sticking the camera under the water, and pretty much bonked the shark on the top of the head with this camera. that wasn't enough to scare the shark. the shark bumps his kayak and at that point he is like i'm gone. he cuts his anchor line, he ditches his bait and he even pops up a tiny sail on the front of this kayak. check this out. >> this is how you make an escape. >> if you don't have a motor you want a fast get away. >> he's waiting to make mihis attack. >> he gets out of there. >> pedalling. going back out there in a hurry. you feel so helplesss. >> you are kind of helpless if you don't have a harpoon. >> the guy is pretty well compoed even afer all that.t he >> unbelievable. one of my favorite things is getting cards in the mail but because of technology, people don't write to each other as

much anymore. fortunately technology is now facilitating that to come back with an ipad app called felt. basically what this app does is give you a series of templates. once you decide what card you like you handwrite a message to whoever you want to send this card to that you then can mail to anyone you want. once it's complete, felt, the company, within 24 hours, will print this card and envelope and put it in the mail for you, arriving to the recipient three to five days later. the app is free, but the cards themselves are $3.99. >> which is about the rice of a greeting card at the actual store and you're save money because you don't have to use gas to get there. >> i think they'll appreciate getting that card if you want to send them a note in the mail for fun. $4, i think that's a great idea. >> and do it on the spot. granted, if you have an ipad.

>> oh, yeah. >> that initial yank that gets the momentum started because then it gets them going down a little faster. these guys believe they are a lot of fun so they have actually started a kickstarter project called the fully torqued rv tour and decided to spend one year in a rv traveling around the country and these guys are skateboarders, camera guys, adventurers, going to get everyone they meet involved in the fun and will post two episodes per month on youtube on the ride channel. google glass, the glasses to wear and have a point of view perspective, more and more of those devices are becoming available to the public. a couple guys at the offices, the place where you can sell your homemade crafts and goods. now we have a first person point of view inside the office. it's interesting the guy wearing the glasses is juggling knives.
