police have just raided the occupy the farm camp in albany and joining us live where dozens of police officers are still on the scene, what is happening, brian? >> reporter: let me go ahead and see there is 30 or so berkeley police officers and they raided this area known as the gill track and 20 people were using it for urban farming for what is a kidsly debate, 20 people were taken off the land and what we understand was one person was arrested and let's bring in claire holmes, she is a spokesperson this morning and can you tell us the recent developments on what happened this morning? >> yes, we admonished the group to leave the land which is illegal trespassing and this

has not been found for more than 100 years. the area they are on is a jay san to a grocery store and senior housing. we have been involved more than five years getting feedback and soliciting ideas to use it as a mixed use site. >> there were 20 people on the land and one person was arrested, why was that person arrested? >> about 20 people were camped here and one person was unable to follow instructions and so had to be arrested. >> how long will police be here on the land on this property? >> they will be here all day to make sure they come and leave. >> reporter: thank you a california spokesperson this morning and coming up, we will be speaking with an occupy the

farm person and they say they are plan on possibly coming back to this piece of land sometime in the future and they are currently meeting right now but we will talk with them as the morning continues. here in albany, brian flores, ktvu channel 2 morning news. we have continuing coverage about the stabbing death of 8- year-old leila fowler and her 12-year-old brother has been arrested in the stabbing death of his little sister. here is more on what may happen next, alex? >> reporter: well, dave this 12- year-old boy is accused of a very serious crime but under california law he cannot be tried as an adult. it has trust traded -- frustrated many people in the valley springs area and there will be counselors on hand and at this particular school, this

school says our thoughts and prayers are with the leila fowler family. the man under arrest is a student and the boy is not being identified but he is arrested for the stabbing death of his 8-year-old sister. her brother was the only one home at the time and initially he told investigators he saw a man running from the house and found his sister dead. her brother even gave authorities a description of a gray haired man he supposedly saw running from the house. this morning sheriff's investigators are not saying what led them to arrest the brother but a local pastor said it will take time for this family to heal. >> a local narrative says this is what happened and now we can begin to do the healing and work of what it means to be with that. >> investigators have not

the non-profits expanding their targets to nearly 300 groups. she says tea party groups are speaking with attorneys about their options and lists say heads will role. they plan to introduce legislation that will increase penalties against internal revenue service officials and that includes jail time. president barack obama is expected to have a press conference about this two hours from now. kyla campbell, ktvu channel 2 morning news. police say a mumfied human skull likely came from a homicide victim and police say the person had been dead for months, even years and the skull likely came from outside the city. they still don't know if the

victim was a man or woman and the coroner is planning on conducting an autopsy. they are trying to remember officers killed in the line of duty. the names of 321 officers will be added to the law enforcement who was killed last september. each year they choose from a list of officers killed in the line of duty the previous year as well as those killed in the last two decades whose stories have recently come to light. and members of the mayor ed lee will talk about their final bid to host super bowl 50 and the 49ers new stadium in santa clara, they will decide if the bay area will host the super

students where leila fowler's brother is a student. we are told grieve counselors are there and leila fowler was killed a little more than two weeks ago. he was the only one home at the time and he told investigators he saw an intruder running from the house which prompted a manhunt for the killer. they are not saying what led them to arrest the brother but the news has divided this small town of valley springs. >> you have people who feel sorry for him, they don't understand why he would do what he did. and other people want to hang him in the middle of the town square. >> reporter: according to one report, this 12-year-old has been described as being
