fast track is not affected and one of these lanes are blocked and it looks like we may have lost our signal there. i think a lot of people have used the bay bridge and metering lights are early so we will update those, let's go back to the desk. an overnight fire in san jose appears to have just destroyed a beauty salon in an adjoining business. look at what it shares in the second business near highway 85 and the building caught fire at 2:00 a.m. this morning. firefighters got there and saw flames 20 feet high pouring out of everyone dough. it took about an hour to knock down those flames. it shows where we are at in the business first because of the amount of damage done to

the business... so far nothing they are looking at appears to be hurt. a nine-year-old autistic girl wandered away from her family's vacation home. here is more why there is added concern about this little girl's safety, alex? >> reporter: quite a bit of concern and we want to point out the clear lake police have no evidence to suggest mckayla lynch was abducted here but they are still very worried because she is unable to speak and authorities done think she can find her way back home, back to their home on her own. they have a picture mccaylee i want to show you, this is an

about 100 searchers some with dogs scouring the area trying to find nine-year-old mckayla who is autistic and unable to talk. the girl wandered off on sunday after noon and she was playing with her brother and she does not know how to swim. that vacation home is just a few feet away from the water and divers have been called in to search. >> there are other homes she could be in. >> not an easy place to look. >> not an easy place to look. >> reporter: another cause for concern, this girl is not wearing any clothes in all likelihood. she took them off before she

disappeared because she was hot and it's something she did quite a bit. many people are taking part in this search which will take part in just about an hour from now, ktvu channel 2 morning news alex savage. leila fowler's father is standing by his son in connection with his sister's death. she was stabbed to death in her home. and now the boy told investigators that an intruder stabbed leila fowler. he said he will believe his son is incident until he sees evidence proving otherwise. they were going to hold a press conference and now they are deciding to cancel that. they have a huge impact and all four will be talking about

than a dozen times. he fought them as he tried to arrest them and one witness called 911. >> 1, 2, 3, 4 -- the guy was on the floor and eight sheriffs were beating him with sticks. they say silva developed breathing problems and was taken to a hospital where he died. two officers had their cell phone videos confiscated and they are now investigating the incident. they claim this man is a cia agent. according to them, he was caught trying to recruit a russian agent and this is video of the suspect and he was carrying special technical equipment, disguises, ins trucks on recruiting a russian citizen and large sums of

cupertino and janine now joins us with the next steps being taken in this case, janeane? >> reporter: -- janine? >> reporter: you can see a gentleman who is shuffling -- shoveling up and you can see a lot of the damage and there is just tons of burned debris inside. here is pictures taken at this building near highway 85 and the silk day spa and salon an advanced results which is a personal car buying service, they were completely engulfed in flames. during that time, the roof collapsed and flames also got close to a daycare center which was next door. >> flames were seen above the building which is 20 feet away, we were able to get lines in place to protect that building

and we utilized all of the resources. >> for the first several hours it was unsafe but they sprayed water so much so that it took it off and there was no fear of it falling on them anymore. they were able to enter and she was too shaken to speak on camera but she left her business at 10:00 p.m. and does not believe she left anything electrical on. arson investigators looked over evidence trying to figure out what happened and you are looking at a live picture and that's that daycare development center and you can see how close it was to this day salon and spa and that's what the firefighters were talking about and that this fire happened in the early morning hours and there was not a threat to anybody since they were both

vacant at the time. reporting live, janine de la vega, ktvu channel 2 morning news. the desperate search continues to find a missing autistic girl in clear lake and the police and volunteers are coming together, what is going on? >> reporter: yes, dave, about a half hour from now searchers are expected to regroup which is set up at a church parking lot and there is a great deal of concern for nine-year-old mckayla lynch and this little girl is autistic and can't speak. we are told later on the search area will be expanded. some of them were dogs who worked the neighborhood in clear lake and mckayla and her family were staying at a home when she wandered off. there is no evidence to suggest

she was abducted. she was playing with her brother and was left alone for a few minutes. she is attracted to water but does not know how to swim. dive teams have been called in and many are worried about mckayla and joining the search. >> she is a baby and i want to help find her in any way i can help. >> reporter: authorities say mckayla is not wearing any clothes because she took them off before she disappeared and she took them off quite frequently according to authorities. she goes to an elementary school and her family was here for vacation. we are told even some of her teachers from san francisco are taking place in the search

governor brown will release a revised plan including what the state should do with $4.5 billion in unexpected revenue. he does not want them to go on a spending pre-but they -- spending spree but they want some of that money to put back into cut back programs. the city is working on a mening the immigration reform bill and among the discussions visa programs for lower skilled workers and also, another one that deals with high skilled workers. there will be a state hearing and federal investigation over the new span of the bay bridge.
