man was pronounced dead just hours ago. his body was spotted at a shopping center at blossom hill road and it appears he was by the end with a machete and that weapon was found at the scene. police are checking surveillance video and they are trying to find witnesses and trying to put together a description at that point and this is his -- the 6th homicide. a grandmother and her baby grandson and grand daughter were attacked. >> reporter: if you take a look, you can see the light kit that they have been shining on the home and we are not sure if they are leaving the scene soon but we will keep you posted and we are not sure if the coroner

will arrive because the bodies of the grandmother and grandson are still in that home and the granddaughter is still alive in that hospital. after a manhunt, marshals detained rubin ramirez after being located and they are not calling if him a suspect. they are calling him a person of interest. he is the uncle of the two small children and they all lived there where the killings happened as the call came in from a family member who arrived home to find the three stabbing victims. he suffers from a mental illness and had not been taking his medication, an issue which had been together. 0 so had you seen police there

at least 6 people were killed and a lot of homes were damaged and destroyed. brian flores found out that death toll brian, it is expected to go up even more. >> we certainly hope it does not rise but we will continue to search through at damaged area where at least three have touched down. this is roughly southwest of dallas and it touched down 5:00 p.m. local time and strong winds damaged homes and left a trail of trees and all over. 50 people and 100 people have been injured. it produced grape sized hail in that area and it had residents obviously scared. >> it was loud and my little brother was crying. tornado touched down 25 miles

president barack obama had no problem asking the internal revenue service to step down after targeting conservative groups. and republicans are not about to let it go. tea party groups will be with lawmakers in about 20 minutes and they are expected to call on the obama administration to do more in the wake of the internal revenue service scandal. the woman who targeted the tea party is still in her same position and the fbi is investigating whether or not any laws were broken and the internal revenue service has a long reach and they are in charge of implementing the healthcare law something republicans are trying to repeal. they will detail their calls for action when i see you next. now turkey is reportedly going to ask americans to take in

used a taser to taser a woman. they responded to reports of domestic violence disturbs bans and he refused to open the door because police refused to say why they were there. they are not making any public comments because they say it is an ongoing investigation. jodi arias was convicted of the killing of her former boyfriend in 2008. they say she should get the death penalty instead of life in prison and they decided she is eligible for the death penalty. they are trying to get more people to walk, bike and use public transportation and they are doing that by letting city

developing news out of san jose first brought to you 440 this morning and right now police are investigating the death of a man brutally beaten with a machete. here is more on where the man was found and it is now affecting business, janeane? >> reporter: that's right, police have been here for the past five hours and they are focused on the side to the right of jack in the box and smell. in a dumpster area, it is normally open 24 hours but it is closed for this investigation and police are working on getting any surveillance video to see if they caught any evidence on tape. they called 911 after finding a man severely beaten up in the 400 block of blossom hill. he was unconscious and laying

news. >> police are also investigating another homicide at holiday inn. pell found her body and there were obvious signed of a struggle but they have not released any information about the circumstances of her death. they have been searching for two men accused of robbing a woman and stealing her baby. it happened at the garden town homes. one of the men pushed the woman to the ground and took her purse while the other man grabbed her baby stroller. the woman and her baby was not hurt. they are described as between 18 and 25 years old. they were wearing black hats and caps and hooded sweatshirts and pants. they spend many days
