scene, what can you tell us about what is going on. >> reporter: a man pulled a gun on a security guard and they are now doing a door to door search in the area and we will show you, it is a very active search. here is video from earlier this morning, officers moved in to try to find this man who they believe is armed. this man apparently took officers on a short chase and we have seen them searching for this man who is described as a man in his 20s. this all began because the man pulled a gun on a security guard outside of a nearby cafe earlier tonight or last night, i should say and that's when the man showed up and took officers on a short pursuit and they found his car crashed into a nearby field but the driver was gone. at this point they have set up

a perimeter and they are asking anybody to stay indoors and be on the lookout for him? >> the weapon was initially indicated and we like people to give us a call and hopefully we can get him into custody and wrap this up. >> again they have been out here trying to pick up this man's scent and is he a man in his 20s who likely ran away after taking officers on a very brief pursuit and potentially pulling a gun on a security guard and again we are right here on north king road and it is still an active search area and officers are trying to track this man down. they did recover his car nearby and they found ammunition in it. we are live this morning in san jose, alex savage, ktvu channel

2 morning news. it is hand been a violent night on the streets of san jose. they are investigating deadly shootings in two separate incidents. the most recent was 10:00 last night on hayes avenue. still they are not sure what led up to the deadly gunfire. hours earlier, two people were shot to death on san jose's east side and the victims were boys. it's not far from the shopping center on the key road. one of the young victims was a good friend of her son. >> he was a nice boy, really sweet, hangs out with my son every day and they go places and talk to girls all the time on the phone. >> police are still looking for suspects in this double homicide and they want to talk to one teen leaving the scene on a bicycle. we will talk with janine de la

hit a party bus head-on. her husband is now in critical condition. the chp says klein was not wearing a seat belt and dui is suspected. 18 people had minor to moderate injuries. today the town of moore oklahoma is marking the devastation. 2000 people turned out for an emotional memorial service in the hard hit town of moore where 7 children were killed described the moments when the twister hit. >> i didn't know quite what to do but i knew i had had to do something more than i had ever probably tied -- practiced before. >> 370 more were hurt and as many as 13,000 homes were destroyed. president barack obama vowed to help the town rebuild as well.
