minutes after the collision, an 18-year-old female driver called police to say she had hit the boy. witnesses said she had the green light and the boy ran into traffic. he is recovering at oakland hospital. the driver is not facing any charges. a man was not hit by caltrans and that happened at midnight at mission drive. he was the last hit by the northbound train, he was taken to the hospital and we do not know his condition at this point. they were not hurt and the cause of the crash is still under investigation. right now crews are still on the scene of an early morning house fire on the peninsular. it started shortly before one in the san mateo hills. joining us from the fire scene with what we have learned from investigators, good morning.
