viewers might find it disturbing. this is surveillance video during a shooting in oakland over the weekend. you see here, comes out the suspect, shooting into a crowd. then stops over a boy who fell to the ground and shoots him. we stopped the video before the shooting happened. at this point two other people we know were shot and they are recovering from their injuries. this was just one of the shootings that made for a violent couple of days in oakland. in the past hour the police chief talked about the violence. cara liu was there. what did he say? >> reporter: one of the things he said is that she planning to shift around resources as part of his strategy and choosing to target side shows. he shared this at headquarters 30 minutes ago. >> reporter: he says they breed
