crime problems and crime trends. cara liu, ktvu channel 2 news. bart says it is safety department is investigating what left-hand to friday's crash that caused huge delays. two vehicles collided at 2:30 a.m. in the morning. 380 feet of the third rail was damaged in the tube that runs from san francisco to oakland. one track had to be closed and that caused massive problems. bart completed repairs saturday morning. police showed us the designer merchandise they seized. last week they found hundreds of items all knock offs. investigators say the store sold fake jewelry as well as other designer brands. the case is now in the hands of the district attorney's office.

they were sold at the fox mall shopping center. police want to talk with two bicyclist who witnessed a attempted sexual assault on a jogger. it happened yesterday. the victim says the man jumped on her back and began groping her. the victim was not physically injured. police want to contact the two bicyclist for more information on what happened. the man is 20 years old, 5'8", 160 pounds, latino or mixed raise with buzzed black hair and studs in both ears. judge sentenced a 19-year- old gang member to prison for stabbing a high school football player. he was sentenced friday to 16 years to life for second degree murder. he was a running back in high school. he was stabbed to death in

april 2012. his attorney argued it was another teen in the fight who stabbed him. police are asking people to keep an eye out for a piece of stolen art work. police say last tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the morning someone took this lawn ornament in front of a home. investigators say it was given to the 7-year-old girl and it has significant meaning to her because of her disability. a new jersey company purchased the hyatt. they bought the hotel for $103 million. that is $331,000 per room. the company plans to launch a renovation at the beginning of next year.

the town counsel could decide whether to approve a new campus for netflix. the project involved building 550,000 square feet of office space and they agreed to lease the first building. opponents say the project is too big for the neighborhood abut supporters don't etwant them to leave -- don't want them to leave town. we are expecting the supreme court to issue a ruling on proposition 8 that bans gay marriage. ktvu's david stevenson spoke to the key players in the case and learned many same-sex marriage supporters are preparing preparing for what they hope will be a decision in their favor. >> that's right. rulings on prop 8 are expected this month and that is prompting preparations and anxiety in san francisco. >> she is getting married this

police in sea side killed a black bear this morning that was loose running around a neighborhood. they tried to surround the bear while they waited for officials but the animal started jumping fences. police say they did about want to shoot and kill the bear but it was loose in a populated area and they were worried. joseph naso appeared in court today picking a jury for his trial. new at 6:00 p.m. ktvu's christien kafton joins us live. joseph naso was acting as his own attorney and had unusual questions today? >> reporter: sure did. joseph naso had a lot of questions for the jurors, trying to find out if any made up their minds. he is accused of killing four

two men accused in the richmond high school gang rape face. marcelles peter and jose montano were among those who beat and sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl outside of a school dance in 2009. two juries have been seated to hear most of the testimony but they will deliberate separately. that could shorten trials but also complicate things. >> if the prosecutor slips up and mentions the evidence against the other defendant it could be bad. >> at some point the victim is expected to take the stand. the trial is expected to last through the middle of next month. apple against the u.s. government. they sued apple accusing them of increasing the prices of
