below gang and have been identified. investigators are looking for three suspects driving off. in san jose police are investigating a deadly stabbing. a man was found stabbed several times around 12:30 a.m. this morning on checkers drive. police say it is on the same block where the victim lived. investigators do not yet have any suspects or a motive for the stabbing but it is san jose's 24 24th homicide of the year. jury is seated in the murder trial of joseph naso. the panel was finalized yesterday. joseph naso is 79 years old and pleated not guilty to murdering four women. joseph naso is acting as his own attorney and questioned many of the jurors. opening statements are set for monday. a busy intersection in the south bay is back open after a

bicyclist was killed when a truck fell over and landed on top of her. ktvu's robert handa is in san jose with more. robert? >> reporter: that's right. we are at a -- we are at a busy intersection in downtown san jose. till an hour ago the area was closed off because of the accident pthe investigation. -- accident and the investigation. police say two huge commercial vehicles, box truck going westbound and a dump truck collide before 10:00 a.m. this morning. investigators say a woman riding a bicycle was crossing and when the truck was knocked over it crashed an top of her. bicyclists say they need to be cautious in the area because drivers are driving fast. >> just like a motorcycle.

most confidence in the military. followed by small businesses and then police. congress rank said 16. dead last. the 4th year congress was in last place. but this year's figure of 10% is the lowest number for any institution ever. members of congress are pressuring transportation officials to come up with a plan to replace or fix california bridges that are considered unsafe. they want to make sure there is not another collapse like this one in seattle. a report found 13% of california bridges are considered structural deficient. california is one of several states leaders are concerned about. they say there is a back log of bridges that need to be fixed. >> if members of local communities don't do it the bridges will be shut and people will be impacted. >> transportation officials say the troubled bridges are in a

it is being called the most destructive fire in the history of colorado. authorities announced they found two bodies in a house that was destroyed by the fire. the fire destroyed 360 homes in all. today authorities ordered a thousand more homes evacuated in colorado springs. the people who live there joined 38,000 others all forced out by the threat of fire. some barely made it out before their homes burned. >> it started like getting black and bigger. so we just hurried home and started like packing up all the stuff. >> the flames burned 15,000 acres. firefighters had to deal with tinder dry trees and grass, high heat, strong winds and low humidity. >> wind is probably our number one threat. it is what has been the game changer. what changed the conditions.

nicknames like soldier boy, nar mare and lunatic, they said they have terrorized the streets for years. so many in one case they had to sit in the jury box. 17 females sat on the opposite side of the courtroom. the district attorney said each of the 31 has tied to the prison gang. one by one each stood before the judge. charges include the sale of meth, cocaine, robbery and murder. his client is being used by the district attorney's office. >> some of the crimes are very bad things but a lot of the cases are a single sale of meth. >> he says his clients just wants a separate spedy trial. >> they don't -- speedy trial. >> they don't know each other. a lot of these guys are

it is going to be a long several weeks for the jury that will decide the fail of the man who killed trevon martin. the judge in the george zimmerman trial said jurors will be sequestered for the trial that is expected to last 2-4 weeks. george zimmerman plead not guilty to second degree murder of trevon martin. four people are dead in st. louis missouri, it happened this afternoon. the shooter was possibly one of the owners of the business. police say the shooter got into an argument with the three victims before opening fire and then turning the gun on himself. photos shown in court in the case of a ohio man charged

about him and wanted to find out if he ended up here. >> maybe this is closure. i don't know. we may locate him, who knows? >> reporter: officials say it is unlikely 600 remains have been unearthed and artifacts provide a glimpse into the past but no clues into individual identities. >> there is no identifications of the coffins or inside the coffins for individual identification. >> i never give up hope but i am very impressed with the way they are treating the remains respectfully and again, i just want to pay my respects. >> reporter: they offered to reburry the people at a more traditional cemetery but they will conduct a public memorial. robert handa, ktvu channel 2

news. an inspector who surveyed the philadelphia building that collapse said committed suicide. the 52-year-old was found yesterday dead of a self- inflicted gunshot wound. he inspected the building three weeks before it collapsed on to a salvation army. the inspectors did wrong. they blame the collapse on the operator who was high on marijuana. ropert murdock filed for divorce. he got married 14 years ago. he controls the company that owns the fox television network. he and his wife has two children. his second wife received a $1.7 billion divorce settlement which is the largest in history. san francisco's bike share plan left one neighborhood out
