a man who held place bay has been taken into custody. up until just about 10 minutes ago all trains were stopped there in both directions. what we are showing you here is video from news chopper 2. you see a lot of police presence. as of just minutes ago we have learned the suspect police were looking for at the 22nd street cal train station has been taken into custody. of course it may take a couple minutes for the situation to completely subside. we do know one man is in custody. a registered nurse napa state hospital is recovering after an attack by a patient over the weekend. a representative says the nurse was attacked last night. the nurse activated a personal alarm and other staffers responded immediately. the patient was arrested and taken to jail. a hospital represent have won't -- representative said an investigation is underway. the woman who is at the center of a richmond gang rape trial took the stand today

making her first public statements about what happened p. jade hernandez was in court for her testimony and what the young woman recounted that night, what she felt when she first woke up in the hospital. jade. >> reporter: frank, we met jane doe inside of a courtroom behind me. she doesn't weigh much more than 100 pounds. she is petite. jurors not only heard about what she experienced but saw what she looked like hours after officers found her unconscious. >> there were no cameras allowed in the courtroom, but thed showed jurors graphic photos, the victim's face and eyes swollen. an ear print of her own ear lobe visible on her own skin from one of the blows. is sexual assault response team took the photos in an exam that lasted more than two hours. nurse ray described jane doe as

very soft spoken and withdrawn during that time. as part of the exam she says the 16-year-old suffered burns on her badge jane doe testifieded to the burns left three cars. nurse ray says the girl told her the only thing she remembered from the attack, quote, she was drinking brandi and when she stood up she felt dizzy, light-headed and fell to the grind someone picked her up. jane doe testified she did remember being kicked in the stomach as she held onto two necklaces he was wearing. a police report said she had a .35 alcohol level. she told the da she didn't remember drinking that night. and she didn't remember anything else until she woke up in the hospital hours later. reporting live in martinez, jade hernandez, ktvu channel 2 news. authorities arrested a man accused of running wild and make thed in a san francisco b.a.r.t station. we received this mug shot of the 25-year-old perez.

immigration naturalization officers and san francisco attorney investigators took him into custody. he is facing a variety of charges, all stemming from an accident last month at the 16th street b.a.r.t station. b.a.r.t police say he lunged at passengers and workers while performing acrobatics. he is being held in -- with $100,000 bail. in detectives are looking for 32-year-old william cordova. they say cordova gunned down jimmy richardson. the killing was the first homicide of 2013. police say cordova also pose by the name william johnson and -- goes by william johnson. court systems if, celebrating the just passed state budget. it restore are also some of the recent cuts made to court funding in the past four years. officials say their budgets

killer joseph naso. he is actening as his own attorney but a public defender is assisting. naso is charged with kick four women if. proses cue force today showed grim photographs, a sight that brought one juror to tears. naso said, quote, i am not the monster that killed these women. i didn't do that. the trial is expected to run through november. three officers involved in yesterday's fatal shooting of a mentally ill man. two with a handgun, the other with a taser. police say her 53-year-old son had a knife and was behaving violently. police say officers tried repeatedly to call the suspect out of the home. officers went inside and say they were confronted by the man who threatened them with a knife. two officers shot him and the third used a taser. the victim's name has not been

bay area based netflix is teaming up with dream works in a multiyear keel for an original series. the deal involves 300 hours of new programming.

netflix says it is the largest deal yet for original programming. it will also mark the first time dream works characters will be shown on television. new at 6:00, san francisco has a plan to make one of its busiest streets safer by shifting cyclist to another shift. david, you learned this could create an even more dangerous situation. >> reporter: some people are saying this downtown section could be in for big changes with buses being ban issued and cyclist getting their own piece of the road. >> it is packed with pedestrians, cable cars, cabs, delivery trucks, buses and automobiles. >> it is a lot of traffic. >> even with bicycle use growing each year, cyclist say riding the san francisco street is sometimes too dangerous. city officials held a hearing on a plan to shift cyclist to mission street one block south eliminating two lanes of parking and creating bicycle

lanes. >> i think it would be a great idea. anything that we can do to separate automobile traffic from pedestrian bike traffic would be great. >> traffic lights would be timed to enable easy cruising through intersections. two muni lines will be moved to market street. >> we wouldn't want to restrict cycling on market street. the idea would be to make missions street such an attractive option that the great majority of cyclist would choose to use it instead >> that's good. the road is already very small. >> cabdrivers say adding more cyclist is a terrible idea with. >> instead of improving the traffic flow i think it might end up causing it to be more worse. >> and dangerous say some drivers. crown cab hassed ad mirrors to passenger doors to prevent collisions between cabs and cyclist. >> i think i have in maybe four or five cases where a bicycle
