4:30 pm
everybody. i'm beth troutman. we have the individuvideos thate been searching for, "right this minute." a storm rips through a crowded sporting event. >> you see the roof of this thing start to come off. >> see the frantic run for cover as people realize what's about to hit them. why just jump in the water when you can trampoline in. >> it looks like perfect summer fun. the daredevils taking cliff diving to the next level. a driver spots a bear b in cub is in the ee, and how mama
4:31 pm
bear did not let her baby down. that may look like a chocolate treat, but it is actually -- >> a blood pancake. >> a step by step guide for a nordic treat. >> this is breakfast for a vampire. >> just flat out scary weather video out of switzerland. this is at a gymnastic festival, and people are under a tent structure when a microburst comes through, and watch this. >> you can see the roof of this thing starting to come off, and the spectators are running for their lives, and in all, 39 people were injured and 36 with serious injuries, but it is low numbers considering that 60,000 people go to this thing. as you can imagine the gymnastics competition canceled because of the storm. but there are other individuvid
4:32 pm
the storm popping all over with the storm on the internet. in all it lasted 15 seconds. it was really, really fast and all of the severe weather was a result of a big heat wave that came through the area. look at this from a news outlet srs showing that more people were trying to get away from the winds that were more than 70 miles per hour, and blowing stuff just all over the place. people trying to take cover, but it has to be hard when the winds are this strong. >> and there is nowhere to take cover really. you have trees and you have tents. >> but that scary video just shows that you can hear the people screaming and the guy that is shooting this even screaming, and that is when he cuts the camera. >> the sound of that roof tearing is awful.
4:33 pm
that is gun fire coming from a car according to police near an apartment complex in dayton, ohio. some of the shots fired fatally wounded an innocent bystander, and police say she was a 27-year-old jayley foster, and she was nine months pregnant. she was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was later pronounced dead. the workers in the trauma unit ended up delivering the child by c-section, and the child survived and currently in critical condition. you hear the people talking in the background. >> they are pulling up, y'all. leave them alone. >> and according to the police, all of this is a result to a fight. the police were called to the apartment complex, and broke up the fighting, and once they left, the fighting resumed. they have a suspect in mind, but they are waiting for the ballistics report before they
4:34 pm
make any arrests. the radio station spoke to one of the relatives. >> an innocent bystander who is pregnant and due any day and she was shot. >> and they have lots of witnesses and hopefully somebody will say, i did see this happen. the location -- >> well, let's head over to camden, delaware, where the firefighter firefighters are working hard on this apartment fire. multiple house cameras on the firefighter firefighters, and you can see them knocking their way into the apartment, but when they get inside, it is almost like the whole top floor is completely gone. it is looking like framework. you see something like this, and you think, where do you start when you're, this is your job and you are walking into this room like this. where do you begin?
4:35 pm
fortunately, they do know the answer to that question, because they are pros and they obviously know what they are doing, but it is gnarly to see them walking into this red inferno on the other side of the door. it is crazy. >> they said they were aggressive in their approach with this and took multiple lines inside and were able to get this thing under control. somebody was driving through the biltmore estates in asheville, north carolina, and guess what they saw up in the tree? some of nature's finest, a mama bear and her cubs. getting in closer, watch what happens when the cub is in the tree. it falls and does a backflip and the mom grabs it with the paw and the mouth, and she grabs and saves the day, because you don't come between the mama bear and the cub.
4:36 pm
>> that is a great lesson that the baby bear learned, because now he knows the danger that gravity is going to take him to the groiund if he does not sink the bear claws in. it is a new trend that allows you to -- >> dance like nobody is listening. >> but you are really dancing to the beat of a different drummer. >> find out how to get down at the silent disco. and the dude on the roller coaster loses more than his stomach. >> oh, it is going to -- >> it looks like a
4:37 pm
4:38 pm
all right. here we have a backhoe trying to get off of the back of the flat bed and you may notice there are not any ramps or anything to unload the backhoe and he has the arm to stabilize the thing, and if you watch closely, he is pushing the loader arm along as he is trying to drive the truck. watch what happens. one last adjustment, and he is close. >> oh, that didn't work. >> that did not work. he tried to get a little closer to the edge of that flat bed and you will see the tracks slide on the deck of the truck, and off it goes. where does he go though? the video ends, and it looks like he is still in the cab. >> well, it looks like maybe they should have tried this not next to the giant pole. >> there are videos of this technique all over the internet. this is how it is supposed the look. >> they are letting themselves
4:39 pm
down gently. >> that is what they are doing. they are using the bucket to stabilize himself and drives off of the edge to lower the bucket, and then he swings the bucket all of the way around to the other side, and then he uses the bucket to lower the other half of the track down and it is possible to work. >> if you don't have a ramp and you get off of the truck this way, how do you get back off of the truck? >> same way. . not so amusing moment for the park goer here on the roller coaster, and keep your eyes on this region of the screen as we will see somebody lose something that is all very important. >> oh, no, was that the iphone? >> well, it is some sort of phone, and some sort of phone with a giant screen that is not
4:40 pm
going to be in one piece when it hits the ground. you watch it again, and somebody is filming this from a few seats from behind and as they go to the bend, the guy puts the hands up, and comes from this guy in the white, and it goes flying. >> it looks like a piece of paper. >> they are lucky that the thing didn't fly back and knock them right in the face. >> yeah, you have to be careful when you go on the roller coasters, you have to make sure that everything is really, really tucked in. >> that is why they have the bags in front, and velcro, and put your stuff in it, and this won't happen. >> or wear the cargo pants with the zipper pockets. >> or bring back the fannie pack. if you wear that, you will not lose anything -- >> well, you are losing the cool points. >> i think that the fannie pack will be back in 2013. you have heard the expression dance like nobody is watching. try dance like nobody is listening. >> wow!
4:41 pm
this is a way better way to go to the club if everybody had earphones on, they could listen to what they wanted, but everybody at the tables could talk to each other without having to scream. >> this is a new trend called silent disco, and that is what is going on in the videos. people with their own headsets with their own music dancing awa away. >> they are listening to different songs and people were singing with each other, so it sounds like they were listening to the same songs. >> well, different events, it is the same things, and for the most part, they can listen to what they want to, but if you go to the sponsored events, you get a head set with three options, and three different types of music. >> so you are really dancing to a beat of a different channel
4:42 pm
especially from the person next to you. >> and this is great if you don't want to listen to the loud house, you don't have to. this is becoming a trend, and spreading throughout the u.s., europe, australia, and there are videos all over youtube. it is happening at concerts, too. everybody is dancing and singing along. >> it is cool because you can have the volume up as loud as you want, and it does not have to be blast iing. i want to try it. at least try it. it is time for a cooking segment. cooking with the chef. it is a swedish chef, but he has stolen a recipe from the neighbor, and he is going to show us how to make a blood pancake. >> this is cold blood though. >> cooking with blood is very common in scandinavia and blood actually does contain a lot of nutrients and iron. >> but he starts out with an egg and pours some blood in it. >> i like to create the finland
4:43 pm
scientist that you are. >> this is breakfast for the vampire. >> he put the regular pancake together, but instead of mostly milk, it is mostly blood, but he tosses in the milk. >> cold milk and cold blood. bull p[ bleep ] brilliant. >> throws in the flour and mixing it up, and puts some butter in the skill let and it goes in and looks pink, but you will notice as it starts to cook, it loses the color. >> the blood will of course, coagulate and turn darker. >> the edges will start to cook and bubble. >> you want to wait for the bubbles to start bubbling up in the middle. this is the pancake telling you the flip me. >> watch at what it looks like when you flip it over. >> black. >> ooh, it looks like beef. >> it kind of looks like a really wide hamburger. >> he makes four of them and stacks them up and tops it with sausage and guess what else? the final acue tra mont.
4:44 pm
>> ooh. w b smart. see why you don't want to be the guinea pig for a homemade zip line. >> this is going to be difficu
4:45 pm
4:46 pm
if you find yourself in a situation where you seem smarter, i don't think that you will end up in that situation. >> of course, not. >> this is grace, and she has a youtube channel called daily grace but in this particular video she is filling in for the log brothers youtube channel. >> i am going to teach you how to trick people into thinking that you are maybe more intelligent or cultural or socially sophisticated than you really are. try to use the word derivative when describing something that you have just seen. that art was derivative of this piece of art. carry a copy of "on the road" in your back pocket. don't drink coffee unless it is through the french press. don't eat cheese unless it is mozzarella or cheddar. and regular knives don't cut
4:47 pm
cheese. >> it is as if half of the things have to do with the cheese. >> buy the cheese from the cheese section of the whole foods and when you do buy it, ask like you are in a spelling bee, can i have the country of origin. and you can also talk about the simpson simpson's. >> and they are topical and may make you seem like you are on topic. >> and guyrere cheese. you can check this out on the best of rtm or on our mobile app. we have a video going viral of the summer activity, and this could be dangerous. at clear creek in winslow, arizona, the guy has a trampoline, a full-sized
4:48 pm
trampoline right there by the water. yes! it does look fun. these gis have some skills. they are not like the everyday average joes, because they are pulling the crazy stunts here. at one point they kind of dish the trampoline and go cliff diving. good shots from across the way and you can see how high up they are, and that looks to be about, i don't know, 50 feet. pretty, pretty high. certainly not the safest thing, although it looks like super fun. it doesn't look that dangerous, because they are not that high up with the trampoline and looks perfect in arizona especially where you don't find water like that everyday. double the shooting, double the fail.
4:49 pm
dogs these days are getting crafty. this is at a dollar general store and there is a pretty large dog inside, and the guys recording the video are amused about how big the dog is and in the store until they start to follow it and realize he has worked himself to the dog aisle. >> yeah, yeah, go to the dog treat aisle and this dog knows what is up. >> he smells the treats and know where is to go, and noses around. >> he is looking for a specific brand. >> or a specific thing, and in this case, he just wanted to play, so he went for a toy. >> yeah. yeah. >> and once he has it in his mouth. he make a run for it. >> you know the shoplifting dog.
4:50 pm
>> wait, the dog does not belong to anybody in the store? >> no. >> he is just -- >> no, some random dog that once he had the toy he ran out, and it is like he knew he was not supposed to be doing what he did. >> the dog just stole a toy. >> the guys recording the video are so amused ty aund with his new toy. >> he clearly didn't have his wallet on him. it's a goldberg device meeting ice. >> it is a pizazz or flare of getting the ice into the glass. >> find out how things pop up at i wouldn't change anything about the last 10 years

4:55 pm
