10:30 am
i'm beth troutman. it's time for the best videos from the web and the stories behind them right this minute. a demolition crew gets down to business. but -- >> as the bricks start to come down -- >> why some were in the wrong place at the wrong time. guys at a car dealership get too many pizzas by mistake, so they load up a car and hit the road. >> we were determined to get these pizzas to the people who really would need them most. >> how some folks who would love a hot meal got one. >> god bless you.
10:31 am
>> all right. a dude makes an awesome catch on a coaster. >> did you see that? was it a bird? did you see him catch a bird in his hand? was it a bird? >> no! >> see what he snatched out of thin air. and two nfl cheerleading teams re-create a taylor swift hit. now see if the rumors are true about a dance-off. >> can we get invited to that somehow? there's an investigation ongoing into the video that i'm about to show you out of russia, south of moscow. got to warn you, a little tough to watch. we saw this video on most.tv. you can see a backhoe-like vehicle taking down a big part of this brick wall. behind the camera is a guy named eugene. as the bricks start to come
10:32 am
down, watch what happens. watch that again. the bricks come down. they take a huge bounce. then this big group of heavy bricks comes bouncing right at eugene. right after this, you hear people in the area rush over to eugene's aid. he didn't make it. you hear people screaming, call an ambulance, call an ambulance. his relatives say he broke all his ribs, he fractured his pelvis, he damaged internal organs. surgeons tried to save the guy, but it was too late. he was smashed basically by these bricks. there's an ongoing investigation against the construction company because the family of eugene says there were no warning signs, no signs nearby that said, you know, you can't stand this close to a construction site or warning, you know, construction area. so the family is rooking for some answers here. >> i don't think i've ever seen anybody pull a wall down like that and let somebody stand so
10:33 am
close. >> this was an absolutely horrible accident, but do you really need a sign that says don't stand here? you have to protect yourself. you have to think ahead. >> just not a very well thought out demolition. one other person was injured in this instance. they've been released from the hospital. we ordered way too many pizzas. >> what do you do with them? how about giving them away to homeless people in your community? that's what jared did in dallas. >> there's some homeless people that really want some food. they'd love to have this. >> in all, they ordered 80 pizzas. they ate close to 30 but still had 52 left. they went to the car dealership where they were and asked, hey, can we borrow one of the cars? the dealership said, sure. the car they happened to borrow was this one. >> we're going to load these up. >> this one is all electric. they said the reason they chose it is because it was big enough to hold all the pizzas. >> would you like a hot papa
10:34 am
john's pizza? here you go, sir. here's another one. we got way too many. >> thanks. appreciate it. >> god bless, man. >> to tell us all about what they did, we have jared right this minute via skype. how good did it feel to, a, drive that car, and, b, more importantly, give away that pizza? >> it's awesome. the car is really unique. once we started handing out those pizzas, the car we were in, we forgot about that. it was really just about surprising people with a full-size pizza. >> was it hard finding people? >> yeah, i wish i could tell you it was. in dallas, there's just kind of places where you know where the homeless people are. coincidentally, those are probably the least likely places you'd ever see a fisker karma. plus, there were times we were getting out of the car and walking up and out. the coolest thing about this video is seeing online how people are saying, wow, i need to give out more, i need to do more.
10:35 am
i hope we can start a chain reaction of people doing nice things for no reason at all. >> hold on, there's more. >> god bless you. >> thank you! going to a car show is fun because you get to see all the cool cars. you always sit there and think, man, it would be fun to see these cars light them up. at this car show, they do when they leave. car after car that comes out of this car show is tearing it up as they leave. you can see all the spectators lined up with their cameras waiting to see the next guy to leave with his hot rod and spin the wheels. keep in mind, it's a public road. probably not the best thing to do. probably not legal. most guys seem to pull this move off just fine. all types of different cars light them up, give the crowd a good show. leaves smoke behind and peppers the air with that nice burned rubber smell. except this guy. oh! >> that didn't take long.
10:36 am
was he trying to drift? >> no, he was trying to do a burnout. the car goes one direction and back the other and he swipes the smile off the front of that charger, grinds it against that wall. that's his pride and joy, you know. he just -- >> embarrassing. >> there's a pile of parts. >> you got to pick up the chunks of your car in front of all these people who are car enthusiasts. that's embarrassing. >> at that point, that thing is so smashed up, he probably had to call a tow truck. >> i think he did more damage to his pride and ego than anything else. let's go to spain where marcus turner is at a theme park. the roller coaster he eer is one highest roller coasters in europe. this roller coaster is going about 80 miles an hour. some really cool water action going there. now, look at what happens right here. did you see that?
10:37 am
>> is that a bird? did he just catch a bird in his hand? >> no. believe it or not, the person in front of him lost his keys. marcus saw it and grabbed it in midair. >> what? you have the presence of mind on a roller coaster to catch something at 80 miles an hour? >> i have to turn his way. what if that had been just a little -- wait. what if that had been just a little to his right? >> like fabio. >> a mouth full of keys and metal and no more teeth and broken face. >> the person in front of him has to be really relieved. getting your keys replaced, especially for your car, that's like $200. >> he was quick. he got the keys. it's a bizarre scene at a
10:38 am
subway station when an officer confronts this guy. >> but shirtless man takes it a little too far. >> oh! >> hi >> see how this cop proves he ain't in the mood. and -- >> when you have three sheep versus one wolf, you think the wolf is going to win. >> well, not in this video. see how this herd lets the wolf know it's time to back off.
10:39 am
i gotta go deposit a check, transfer some money. so it's your uncle's turn. what? wait, wait, wait... no, no, no, wait, wait. (baby crying) so you can deposit a check... with the touch of a finger. so you can arrange a transfer in the blink of an eye. so you can help make a bond... i got it. that lasts a lifetime. the chase mobile app. so you can.
10:40 am
when you have three sheep versus one wolf, you think the wolf's going to win, but we wouldn't show you that video. the wolf's coming over. >> a baby sheep too. >> and then the big sheep is like, you need to get to stepping and chases the wolf off. now, the wolf is like, look, i'm hungry, i'm a wolf, you're a sheep, come on. in the circle of life, i'm ahead of you. he's like, i'm not having it. >> could these be wolves in
10:41 am
sheep's clothing? >> somebody did note the biggest sheep had a bell around their neck. they're thinking maybe that might have scared the wolf away. >> i hope the wolf's friends don't see this video. >> in a world where a mother is trying to protect her kids, this food chain thing goes way out the door. >> let let's head over to russia for a shocking scene in a subway. i guess it's more of a subway station. according to reports, the man in the striped shirt is intoxicated. >> and he didn't dress overly that day. >> no way to really tell. except for maybe his behavior. as this video picks up, we have a police officer there along with a worker from the metro station. now, the officer seems to show quite a bit of restraint, given that this man is causing a scene. watch what he shows him. he shows him a lot, actually.
10:42 am
the officer seems to stay rather calm. >> no kidding. >> but shirtless man takes it a little too far. >> oh! >> you can't kick the cop. >> looks like he kicks the cop in the shin, and the cop starts to take him down. a right hook to the face three times. and then the officer gets the man down on the ground and the cop drops his handcuffs. the metro worker jumps in, hands them back. >> it's interesting to me there's a camera shooting this all very professionally. >> the guy just had his camera ready to go, saw the scene and thought, you know what, this is going to be an entertaining youtube video. and eventually he's being led away. you see him resisting as he's being dragged out by this officer. this is undoubtedly one of
10:43 am
the weirdest videos i'll show you. this is candy, but it's candy you eat out of a little toilet. >> are those like tootsie rolls on the inside? >> so you take out your toilet and you have to actually put it together. >> it's like a little model. >> once you have your toilet all nicely put together, you open the seat cover and the water tank cover. you put the candy in it. you add water, and then look at that. it's fizzing and bubbling and starts growing into the bowl. >> you actually look like you just cleaned your toilet. >> looks like you put the bowl cleaner in there. >> you're supposed to suck it out with a straw? ewww. >> oh, gross. it sounds like a toilet flushing. all right. that's funny. >> that is the perfect gag gift
10:44 am
though. >> do you want to do the straw method, or do you use it like a shot glass? >> you might do that. then lick the rest. >> no, you got to do the straw. you get that sound. >> the thing about this second video is that it does reveal that it's not particularly good. it's in very bad taste. this one looks a little brown. this one is disgusting. >> that one is worse. >> there you go. >> i hope that doesn't encourage kids to actually go to the toilet and -- >> oh, no. getting keyed, not funny. >> unless it's this kind of car key, then it's funny. >> your keys are in your door. >> see what happens when this prank goes a little too far. >> call 911 and call the police. and take a ride into the deep blue sea. >> this thing looks like a jet fighter for the underwater world. it's going into the canyons off of hawaii to search for whale
10:45 am
songs. >> see if they find what they're looking for next.
10:46 am
10:47 am
i can say right now i can't condone a car keying prank, unless it's this kind of car keying. then it's pretty funny. >> you left your keys in your door, man. they're in your door. >> yeah, these are are the guys from ross creations. we have had their pranks on our
10:48 am
show before. they're going around telling people, hey, buddy, you left your keys in your door. >> hey, your keys are in your door. >> what? really? >> nowadays, your car key is also the key you put in your ignition. >> your keys are in your door. >> that was a good one. >> everybody looks. you know, people get it after the initial couple seconds. >> that's hilarious. for a second, you got to give the person the benefit of the doubt. that's why those people are falling for it. >> thank you. >> you know, you might have done that before when you're maybe locking your car and go to your apartment and leave the keys. but not when you're driving. when you're driving, you need the key. most people had a good laugh except this guy in the white truck. >> yeah, you're real funny. i'm going to call 911 and call the police. >> that's worth calling the police for.
10:49 am
>> even after that, the guy got mad. the one guy gets out and keeps telling him, you left your keys. it's incredible how many people fall for it. good stuff from ross creations. one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. >> we're about to take a ride in the deep flight super falcon submersible. this whole thing is peppered with go-pros. it's being driven by designer/creator graham hawks and his co-pilot lee bale. >> there's whales everywhere. >> come take a look at this. >> it's going into the canyons off of hawaii to search for whale songs.
10:50 am
they're searching for humpback whales, and they're using these exterior hydrophones to pick up the sounds. it takes them a while, but eventually they find what they're looking for. >> i can hear it. >> first you hear that unmistakable whale. it almost sounds like elephant calls. you know it's a whale sound. before long, they see them. >> that is so beautiful. >> it's neat because we're so used to seeing whales on the surface. it's not uncommon to see the humpbacks breach, but it's neat to see this thing go down to where the whales live and get that perspective. pretty spectacular. the miami dolphins cheerleaders are back, but this time they're rocking out to

by a helicopter. you can rise this thing up. >> but this looks fun in itself. the guy doing this is kevin passmore. you can see pretty good ride, pretty smooth ride up the mountain. >> you get the fun when you're going up and the fun when you're coming down. >> just uses the wind. even here over some rocky areas. no big deal. just pick up your skis, keep it rolling. >> wonder if i could save money with lift tickets on this thing. >> kevin picks up speed. check him out here. they say it's the first time ever somebody has been wind powered to the top of the peak. he packs his chute up. he says, all right, time to go down. that was easy. i'm telling you, the 2013-2014 miami dolphins team is looking pretty hot. talking about the cheerleaders, of course. new video out. this is to the song "22" by taylor swift. ♪
10:55 am
you might remember a similar video that came out last year, sent the miami dolphins cheerleaders into the viral record books when they did carly rae jepsen's "call me maybe" video. >> we only watched that a couple thousand times. >> you added to the millions of views on that. the cheerleaders this time in the dominican republic. they spent eight days out there, took them five days to shoot this video. it looks spectacular, i have to say. sometimes a sequel is disappointing, but they delivered here. i'm happy about this. >> melissa and lilly, who were in last year's video, also in this year's video, are joining us from miami. girls, thank you. >> hi. >> hi. >> thank you for having us. >> i'm thanking you for the video. how much fun was this to do? >> so much fun. >> it was great. >> is this something that happened to kill time? is that how it all came about? >> well, last year was actually
10:56 am
a little spontaneous. it was the idea of one of the cheerleaders along with the producer. it was stuck in all of our heads at practice, so we decided to do that video. this season we thought we had to do another one because last year's came out so good. so this one was planned ahead. we were prepared this time. >> a lot of people re-created the "call me maybe" video from last year. dudes even did it. do you expect the same thing to happen with this one? >> it's a fun song, so i don't see why not. >> this video has already sort of been copied. did you see the saints cheerleaders' version of this? >> we did. it was cute. >> is that going to start a rif rivalry? is there going to be a dance-off? if there is, could we get in on that? >> we'll let you know.
