police say she was behind the wheel when the mini van jumped the curve and plungenned into the water the cause of the accident is under investigation >> san jose man recovering from burns he suffered in a house fire. san francisco fire department got a call before 3:45 am. three people were asleep inside of the home. a man, his fiance and their child, investigators say they were awakened by the smell of smoke. >> the officer stated they smelled smoke in the house, went to check the garage, saw the garage was on fire and yelled for everyone to get out. >> flames spread from the garage, through the house and onto the roof. it took firefighters hours to get it under control. the cause of the fire is still under investigation. >> >> continuing -- coverage now on nascar racing into the bay

a wildfire near yosemite that prompted evacuations an burned more than 70-acres has been contained. it began along highway 140. evacuations were lifted on thursday, but some roads remain closed and residents need identification to get into the area. crews say the fire started from an unattended camp fire and spread quickly because of dry grass and winds. >> >> a community meeting set for tomorrow to set up the closure of a pittsburgh fire station closing it's scheduled to close july 8th. another pittsburgh fire house is likely to close next january. that location has not been disclosed yet. tomorrow's meeting is set for 7:00 p.m. at pittsburgh city hall
