this and she said my body is none of your businessch what i feel happens and as a big girl talking we feel invisible because if you are not a size 0 you are not considered beautiful. and this girl is beautiful. she is a beautiful girl. so the idea -- what i loved most what she said was i have stretch marks and cellulite and i know skinny people that are cellulite it's what happened to a body when it grows. why can't see be as proud of her body? >> anderson: we all see the pictures of the perfect looking people and it's all fake. i get so annoyed last year i went spray tanning with snooki for the show and i had never been spray tanning before or since. but i go and the guy is like we can spray on muscles and abs. i was like what? there are people who get sprayed on abs. >> the implications are you are not good enough without it. >> anderson: and we all see these people with amazing bodies. all the actors are all on

steroids all the guys who are big, i'm convinced they are on steroids. becausehe huge for a re and saying i eat chicken. i've eaten chicken everyday of my life and it doesn't work. >> not the chicken. it's not the chicken. >> anderson: all the people -- >> and the other thing is, it's all smoke and mirrors. i got complimented how pretty i am. do you know how much makeup is on me right now? and the hair is not all mine. this is a lot of smoke and mirrors that goes on in hollywood that makes people -- >> anderson: yeah, and i look at the people and i go to the gym and i will never look like the people. >> it is a genetic blessing mixed with steroids. >> what you say, allegedly. >> they are doing steroids, i don't know. >> anderson: i did not name names. but i'm convinced a lot of the guys are doing steroids because there is no way you get those bodies just from working out a lot and eating chicken without skin.

together all the outcasts get together and decide you're cool. because there's more of us than there are of them and you can rule any school, any environment. you decide. you decide that you are ok. [applause] and nothing against the others but you decide. >> anderson: there is a story that made headlines. i wanted to talk about it on the show and have people involved. last week, the boy scouts were forced to by court order by the supreme court forced to release 14,000 pages detailing of confidential documents, which detail a history of sexual abuse within the organization from scout leaders from 1965 to 1985. we are talking about 20 years. more than 1600 kids abused or allegedly abused in these files. and it's the thing makes people uncomfortable to talk about it. but not talking about it is not the solution.

it it lous it to be perpetuated. john is here in our audience whose name appears in the file. and john you were abused by your scout leader. >> i was 14 at the time. it happened between 12 and 14. >> anderson: to you what is the importance of these files being released? >> well, the see cressty is the demon in the whole thing. for 30 years, almost 30 years, we were pieces of paper. wow. >> anderson: that was you? >> oh, honey. >> we were pieces of paper. filed away. and for now, we finally have a voice, we are people now. and it's important for us to get the story out. i am not the only victim. there were 12 others in my case and thousands of others. and it is essential that the dialogue starts so that the things with the organization can be corrected so that people can

be helped so that generations can be changed. because life is extremely altered when this happens to you. >> anderson: it changes your life forever. >> dramatically. it spiraled me into drug use and suicide attempts and you maim it. my life has been characterized if you have a pool full of swimmers and you are watching them swim very well and are you doing all you can to tread water. but i tell you, if it wasn't for the grace of god in my life and his ability to reach down and find me in my worst situation then i probably wouldn't be here today. >> anderson: i am glad you are here today and speaking out about it. [applause] and also, i want to introduce you to an attorney kellie clark who fought to release the files. the boy scouts fought the release of these files. and did they -- was it like the

catholic church, did they hid this abuse? >> they fought every step of the way up to the supreme court. yes. there's clear stories in the files where time and time again they took real steps to make sure this stays quiet. we asked them in the trial in 2010 can you point to one instance in the files where the boy scouts picked up the phone and called the police? and they could not do it. >> what was the reason for that? what good reason did they have that they should not release the files? >> no good reason. no good reason. we didn't know then about child abuse what we know about child abuse to which i say it was a crime in 1985, it was a crime in 1965. it doesn't work. >> anderson: and john what is your message to others? there will be people watching who have been through abuse who worry about they have an idea somebody else going through it. what is your message to them? >> you have to get it out. you have to come to the place within yourself where you need

to make the decision to get your own dignity back. if you wait for the offender to do it, like my situation, then three decades and i've never received a phone call if the boy scouts. >> anderson: no one called and apologized? >> never a how is he doing? is there anything we can do? it was just it happened let's put him in a box and not talk about this. and i say get it out. talk about it. go to your pastors. go to somebody and get it out. because once you do that, that is where the liberation starts. >> anderson: john i wish you strength in the days ahead. thank you so much [applause] up next we will take what you need to know before buying or renting an apartment or house, a family who found out their place used to be a meth lab and the effect it's had on them. we will be right back. there was drug residue where you kept your utensils. >> absolutely. when we bought the house it was a fixer-upper it was a foreclose and we bought the house as is and it had good bones. we did not know the bones would kill us. we did cleaning and scrubbing and in the silverware drawer there was red and we thought somebody spilled ketchup. and thought it was covered up and what we learned it comes through the surface. it comes through every pour. you cannot get rid of t. >> anderson: and the health effects? >> so we both started getting extreme dry mouth. basically what the chemicals do they dry out your mucus membranes and sinus cavity and everything so we -- >> anderson: and bloody noses. >> nose bleeds and the last day i was getting headaches, i started to research brain anker in riches because i was in so

much pain. >> and your neighbor? >> they speculated it was a former meth house but you don't know it can contaminate a house. who knew that the toxins stayed in. >> and didn't the owner move next door? >> they moved next door. and then they passed away. >> anderson: so you bought as is without having an inspection? >> we did waive the home inspection but it does not cover methamphetamine. we knew we were buying a fixer-upper. >> and did you talk to the neighbors? did you knock on the door and say what is the block like? >> we didn't. we lost out on an offer there were a couple forecloses. and we lost one so we were pressured to make an offer on the other one. >> anderson: and when are you buying you don't want to lose that great deal. >> when are you buying you are in the dream state talking in love not out of love. >> i just bought and i did not get radon or carpenter ants and
