what vitamins in general do you take? >> right now i am not taking any vitamins. i get confused. i don't know about the dosage. what to take for a 35-year-old woman. dr. oz: you have none at all at home? >> i take multivitamins but i don't always take them. dr. oz: if i can take the mystery out of it i hope folks will follow along. the first vitamin absolutely essential for any woman over the age of 35. >> 35. dr. oz: good. this is going to help. it is an anti-ager and it will help you lose weight. a multivitamin. they are straightforward, very inexpensive. i won't surprise you by saying you need a multivitamin. but 90% i have to assume are not getting enough through their diets alone. womens are especially the

issue. you are taking care of everybody else. here are the important things to find. vitamins a, all of the b vitamins, c, d and e. that is the alphabet. now, here is the catch. you want to get 100% of the daily value that is recommended. not 200% which is what a lot of multivitamins have. more is not always better. >> ok. always 100%. >> if you take more they can turn against you. you have to take it the right way. half of it in the morning and half of it in the evening. otherwise things like the b vitamins are out of your bodies in a couple of hours. the next essential vitamin is for calcium. calcium is a little girl. taught that calcium is important for your bones. your bones get weaker rapidly. age 35, the hormones do not support it. where do you get your calcium

from in a diet? >> i don't eat dairy. but i do eat my cereal with milk. dr. oz: unfortunately it is hard to get enough calcium through the food alone. it is so simple to do. you want to pair the calcium with mag in hisium. otherwise you get a little bound up and you will not be comfortable going to the bathroom. not a bad tool. keep 600 milligrams of calcium and 400 of magnisium. you want to take it two hours after breakfast. the third essential nutrient is omega 3 fats. they reduce your stress. they will help your memory. two things women are complaining about a lot. if have you anxiety and depression, this is what i give people so you can cope with stress more effectively.
