i'm beth troutman. this is the show all about great videos and the stories behind them "right this minute." >> that little one over there is kind of the runt. >> an orphaned baby deer wanders around the woods following that doe. >> the story behind the heartbreaking rejection and the heroes who saved a scared fawn. a driver in the pike's peek hills climb starts to -- >> come around the corn on a practice run. >> see why practice does not always make perfect. he's a rattlesnake rangler who spotted a lisnard trouble.

>> she's really skinnier. >> how the two finally bond over a drink. >> it looks like you made a new bff. >> yeah, yeah. >> and you just never know when -- >> the holy spirit is going to hit you. >> meet the little 2-year-old praising big time. you're looking at some of the aftermath from the black forest fire in colorado. 500 structures were destroyed. thousands of people had to be evacuated while they were fighting this. but some animals were also victims of this. you can see this doe with her two little fauns in an area that's been destroyed. but as you can see, there's another fawn, a little older, kind of following that doe. they observed the fawn interacting with the others. they believe that fawnhad been orphaned. >> that fawn down there lost its mother. probably in the fire. >> now they noticed the doe was

chase away the fawn and kicking it whenever it tried to get milk. this fawn was pretty much dehydrated. >> so we called the foundation of wildlife to come and rescue this fawn. >> sheriff's deputies came out to help rescue the fawn. and look how patient they are just kind of creeping around because it's skittish and it took off when they got close. so you can see these two deputies are creeping up on this fawn so they can eventually scoop it up. look at that one deputy holding that fawn in his arms. i mean, how beautiful is that? i just can't believe how docile it got once they picked it up. now the fawn was taken to a rehab facility because they want to make sure it's okay and it will later be released back into the wild. >> what a great act of kindness.

bikers were out on a joy ride last week in las vegas. pay close attention to this silver car on the side of the road. these bikers believe that this silver car was taunting them. watch right here in this moment. the silver car, the chevy cavalier pulls to the right. >> [ bleep ]. >> the cavalier clipped this biker. that rider is chris luca. the silver car keeps on going. all of the bikers try to stay up with him and stay around him. then the star starts slamming on brakes and then speeding up. this actually gets much more terrifying. now according to the riders, they were headed into the tunnel near the airport in las vegas. >> whoa! >> oh, no, he just clipped a motorcyclist. >> you saw him pull over, change lanes and in the process not -- not one, but two bikers knocked off of their motorcycles. the car keeps going.

>> oh, wow. >> they stuck with them long after the alleged hit and run happened. there's a second video. you can see the moment these motorcyclists box this driver in at the airport parking lot. but he still gets away. according to commenters on these youtube videos, the driver was eventually stopped by the las vegas metro police department. according to reports, that driver got a $300 ticket, but the two riders also got reckless driving tickets. tell us more about this incident, we have chris luca's attorney here from las vegas. now walk us through exactly what chris and what you believe happened on this evening. >> i think the video is very clear. there was a group of motorcyclists that were minding their own business and then the chevy cavalier decides he's going to be a little aggressive with them. and it looks very intentional. >> some would argue these bikers were taking up all lanes of traffic and the guy in the car was just trying to maybe get around the bikers. >> they certainly weren't clogging up traffic.

and let's be honest here. if these were cars there would have been no issue. >> why do they continue to follow him? >> my client got hit. they were following him to make sure he didn't get away. otherwise, they wouldn't have anything to go on. >> why are you now involved? what are you hoping to achieve? >> i like to see that justice is done among these bikers and that's what i'm here to do. >> in your mind, who do you think instigated this entire problem. >> oh, the cavalier for sure. this cavalier was completely out of line. >> what kind of injuries did your client sustain? >> road rash. serious back problems. he can't work. it's shaken him up pretty good. pike's peak hill climb is an annual race tradition. it's a lot of fun to watch. race competitors race up the mountain near pike's peak. it's curvy, a lot of elevation, and it's pretty dangerous. ride with pat doren here in his

ford rs-200. multiple cameras all over it. you see him come around the corner on a practice run. get a little light in the rear end. loses traction and slides off into the trees. doesn't look like pat was injured at all. you see the webbing of roll cage inside keeping him safe. >> look outside the windows of this car after the wreck. looks like he time travelled to a post-apocalyptic world. look outside the window. >> or it looks like he shrunk down to the size of a christmas ornament hanging on a tree. he may be able to still make the actual race. this was the first practice day the car isn't a complete loss. he may be able to repair it. here's one way to make a new friend. this is brian hughes. and he caught a rattlesnake in somebody's back yard in northern phoenix. he's from rattlesnake solutions. he's got it in a bucket and is

taking it up the mountain to release the rattlesnake. this is not the friend that brian made on this particular day because you see him let the snake go. during this excursion he noticed a chukwala. it's a large lizard that hangs out in big rocky areas like this. right now, i think i'm cool down here. brian says i've got some water. and brian starts pouring water out of his bottle down the rocks and watch this chukwala comes up and starts slurping up this water. this guy must be dying of thirst. the longer this goes on, the more he comes out. it doesn't end there. now watch this. the chukwala is on brian's leg and brian is just pouring some of the water on to his leg. we've got brian hughes here joining us "right this minute" to talk about this very cool experience. it looks like you made a new bff out there. >> they are really shy.

they just go right into the rocks like it did when it first saw me. nobody likes it to be this hot and day. all the snakes are out hiding right now. that one was really skinny. it really needed some water. eventually she thought it was fine and came out there and drank all my water. >> did you forget there was a venomous snake right behind you? >> there were a lot. anywhere on the outskirts of the derts, rattlesnakes all over the place. they see you all the time when you are out there. they rarely see you and everyone still manages to survive their hikes. >> how long did this experience last? >> until i ran out of water. they don't drink a lot, but it f it were to rain on them they collect it on their head and drink it tt way. even thosekept in caity, pe tim them to drink water. it's so hot and dry outside right now they'll take what they can get. >> you saved its life. you are the lord of the lizards. it's a picture perfect day

the only way for me to describe this video is bizarre. this is on a road in thailand. look very closely. see how many odd, weird things you can see in this video. it appears as though, yeah, that is her pet bird. >> that is awesome. she's got also like a gun strapped to that bike and some bullhorn. >> well, a whole bull's skull.

>> funky way to wear a helmet, too? >> a gun for like an exhaust pipe, too. >> yeah, there are random -- placed around this scooter. who knows why. >> i can't believe that bird was like that. >> and keep on enjoying the ride. it's a beautiful day in queensland, australia. you see lots of people out enjoying this perfect day. paragliding, hang gliding. we're getting this video from what looks like maybe a go-pro camera mounted to the helmet of one of the paragliders. he's enjoying the beautiful sceneny. but pay close attention to this hang glider just off to the top of your screen. something is about to go horribly wrong. >> oh, a mid-air collision. >> between a hang glider and paraglider. and you see them immediately get entangled and they start spiraling toward the earth. >> they are going down fast.

>> reserve deployed. reserve deployed. >> you notice at the very bottom of your screen there's a reserve shoot that opened up. >> miraculously this happened over a heavily wooded area. they ended up getting caught in this canopy of trees. 7 news was on hand as these two adventurers were rescued. >> the way they've come down has been a very vertical area, heavily wooded and quite treacherous. >> you see the hang glider still in his harness, just kind of dangling there. in all it took rescuers two hours to get to them. once they finally were able to get up and kind of untangle them from the vegetation it only took minutes to get them down. believe it or not, though, these guys only had minor scratches and bruises. >> i think it's safe to say it was their lucky day. no doubt. no, it's not time for halloween.

and, yes, that is a man stuck in some sort of parking cone. meant to guide people on the street. this guy is stuck in that thing. he and his buddy were just messing around in england. and this guy comes over. see if you can get this off. well, can't get it. this guy in the backpack appears to be parking cone man's friend. >> the guy is stuck in there must feel like such a dummy right now. oh, man, this is not how that was supposed to work out. >> i don't know what he was thinking putting it on in the first place. just trying it on for size? >> you can walk around in a cone if you want to. >> here comes the police and they actually assist in the rescue of this guy. i guess you can call it a rescue. you can see when the officer arrives he's got a smile on his face. he's kind of like, this is not your average tuesday. and his friend kind of describes, well, my buddy decided it was a good idea to get in here. now he's stuck. they tried lifting him off.

and it is just not coming off. they lead him over to this grassy area and then they try wedging him out this way. but here you see now the cops got him by the legs. other guy is holding on to the garbage and they are wiggling his legs and he still won't come out. >> they should go to a restaurant, get some melted butter and throw it in there. dish washing soap, something. >> you can eventually see his hands start to come out. with the he ofn ficer and-- >> yea! >> oh, so humiliating. keep your eyes on the red bmw. >> turn right into him. >> something is going on, right? you are thinking, this is a really bad case of road rage, but it's not just a bad case of road rage. >> see why this one has a freaky twist. and we're checking in with

pay attention to the red bmw. >> oh! >> that car turned right into him. >> was it an accident or intentional. the driver of the black car gets out of his car and starts chasing the guy in the other car. they both take off running in foot. and here's another angle. >> see what happened there, right. >> something's going on, right? you are thinking this is a really bad case of road rage, but it's not just a bad case of road rage. the man in the black car is the father of the man in the red car. >> get out of here. >> nope. >> this is a family dispute on the road and they caused quite the traffic jam because now they have two busted up vehicles in the middle of this intersection. >> this is like assault with a deadly weapon. your car is absolutely a weapon and the way he rammed into that guy, he could have killed his own son. >> there are a few shots of the black mercedes and the red bmw

afterwards and, yeah, look at that. he really smashed into the car. >> after the run, these two ended up being stopped by authorities. and this other video starts at an intersection at a red light and for some reason, this girl has decided to exit and feel the air through the sunroof of this car. >> i think she's doing choreography to her favorite song. >> this is her jam. >> when the light turns green, she keeps going. but her jam was quickly stopped -- [ siren ] >> someone with a siren saw the antics of this girl and ended up pulling them over. busted. recently, we had a little debbie day here. >> which brought up the question of how to eat a nutty bar. >> so many ways. 97

>> are you kidding me? 2 years old and her parents say that izzy has not spent much time, if any, in big church. you know when you take your kids to church you often send them to children's church while the grown-up goes to the big service. her parents think that she's kind of just doing this on her own, that this wasn't anything that she had seen anyone else do. that this is just how she was experiencing the music. it's very adult. and it's such a small little girl. that's it for us here at "right this minute." we'll see you next time.
