talks, no new talks are scheduled today however, negotiators for both camps are hold up in an oakland hotel. it is possible talks could resume any time and his mediators are trying to get the talks going again. >> the administration expect is the parties to negotiate and meet and talk about a settlement. >> both sides are blaming each other for bad space bargaining and they are telling them they are sorry they could not afford a strike. once again, they are on the picket lines instead of inside the trains and on the stations and they are there from the lake merit station from what is happening there, tara? >>reporter: well bart workers are not here any time soon and they are out here at the merit station reminding folks of why they walked out on the job.

commuters. the rich man bridge saw an increase in traffic. they saw it in dumbarton where they also increased 4%. and they are estimating it is costing the local economy $73 million a day in lost productivity. the council estimates how many are crossing county lines each day and they are determining they lost two hours of productivity sitting in the heavy traffic caused by the bart strike. ac transit workers are continuing to avert a strike. mechanics expired -- mechanics expired while negotiations in that situation continues. the two sides are at odds over pay and safety and riders will be given 24 hours notice if a strike is there.

who said one of the men was her boyfriend who worked there for four years. now it is on lake park avenue and police say there were four employees and a number of customers at the time. somebody triggered the fire alarm but nothing was taken from the restaurant. >> it is confusing, again we don't have any loss from the business but that can't rule out a robbery. it can show a robbery gone bad, at this point we are still early on in this investigation. right now investigators are going to be retrieving and taking a look at surveillance video to try to identify this so it should be helpful in this investigation.
