after a deadly shooting. two men wearing orange construction vests entered that business late monday night possibly because they felt threatened by a third party check on hump busing opened fire. >> we are confident saying this was not a robbery. >> one suspect has been arrested. oakland police are holding a community meeting to address the shootings. it is being held at the lake shore avenue baptist church. that meting is for lake shore, lake park, and grand avenue business owners. another meeting will be held at 7:00 tonight. that will be for business owners from the grand lake neighborhood. a father is facing child endangerment charges for leaving a baby in a car during the heat of the day. it was 91 degrees outside when the man left a ten-month-old

bigger. june into july we've had about day six of hot temperatures. there will still be a little bit inland. but there is a bigger fog bank. everyone will begin to cool down. heat advisories or heat warnings have gone into thursday for some. again they are starting to push a little farther east. this is not for the coast. this is not around for the bay. which never got in on the warmup expect for last saturday. much bigger fog bank. it's lifting a little bit. it stale can't fly over the hills. 50s and 60s on the temps. unless you are out in the back. a lot of fog is starting to ramp up here. the thunderstorms really just went crazy over reno and tahoe and truckee yesterday. things might pick up again if you're up in that direction. bigger fog bank. it will still be hot inland.

is it the power hour? >> it is the power hour. >> thank you. we do have a bigger fog bank today. it's a lot of resistance in the form of big strong high pressure system. 50s to 70s. i think temperatures coast and bay never really warmed up that much. we will continue their trend of starting to cool down. san francisco has been in the 70s. about 72 to 77. i'm dropping that temp today. there is a lot more in the way of low clouds and fog. going 67 here today. but you can see some of the higher clouds continue to move up as well. could be more thunderstorms in the sierra nevada. they were really lighting up yesterday. fog, sun, cool for some. hot for others. there ask a lot more fog today than the last week. temperatures anywhere from upper 50s to 1- hundreds. 100s. the trend is take temperatures

that happened around 12:30 a.m.. according to the mercury news a 24-year-old watsonville man suffered a puncture wound to the neck. so far no arresting have been made. a bay area theme park hopes the newest rival passes an inspection today that will let it reopen in time for the fourth of july. they shut down the fold striker after neighboring businesses complained about the noise it makes. >> i think that is ludicrous. because the park was here before the businesses around it. we're only here for today so we can't come back. they shouldn't close one ride down because of a business. >> great america started making adjustments to bring down the mechanical noise. says that should compensate for the noise made by roller coaster riders. the oakland a's says the

bart strike should not drive down attendance for popular games. the division leading a's beat the cubs last night and will take them on again today and tomorrow. the a's are urging fans to arrive early and also consider car pooling. ac transit buses are running and there are 12,000 parking spaces for anyone who wants to ride to the game. there we have our parking here. there are several spots parking lots on the perimeter of the facility here. >> the a's also expect a big attendance today. it is fire works night. not to mention the a's is one of the hottest teams in baseball. >> yes. fire works tonight. sal has been talking about that. you want to leave early. leave a little bit earlier than you normally would. >> that is right. we will look at 880 and 880 near the coliseum has been looking okay. obviously it looks good now. last night for that game it

wasn't too bad. we are looking at the bay bridge toll plaza. already a backup. if this was a normal day you would wonder what is going on. the traffic does look pretty good on the upper deck of the bay bridge. there is already a backup in some of the cash lanes. we spoke of 880 and the traffic looks pretty good in oakland if you are driving through there. no major problems. 580 in oakland. 580 and 13 have also been heavy because of the strike. a lot of people get on the road. we'll watch the entire east bay commute which has been taking the brunt of the slow traffic during this bart strike. 4:55. let's two to steve. sal, i know the a's are hot. i think they were upstage if i'm not mistaken. >> by a no hitter. by the reds. that is his second one isn't it? >> second. back to back. >> a lot of fog on the coast. some of that is working its way
