a driver chasing a world record nearly hits a snag. >> did you see that? >> what was that? >> see why the idiot crossed the road. and what do you do with a bird -- >> who really likes speed boxing. >> see why you get him a gig. you are looking at surveillance footage shot outside of a home in paterson, new jersey, just as the police arrive on the scene to arrest a man on weapons charges. we got the video from the star ledger. inside of that car according to police is alexis ponte who was involved in a dispute according to witnesses at a local sports bar with another man and off duty officer. as the officers arrive on scene, they have weapons drawn and pointed at the car and they open up the passenger side door, and you will see them pull a man out of the car. according the reports that is alexis aponte, but watch what

happens. you see the officers kicking this man over and over again. there are several officers involved in this, and you will see them kicking him repeatedly. according to aponte, he says they already had him restrained and he claims this is police brutality. now you see the police officers dragging aponte by his leg across the cement to the police vehicle. this incident happened in 2011, but the county's prosecutor's office has opened up an investigation and a lawsuit was filed last week. >> it is difficult to defend this once the suspect is in cuffs. they let the emotions get the bet ter of them, because the incident involved an off-duty police officer. >> according to the other man who says he was also treated with brutality after he was

cuffed. >> the evidence is damning. all these officers against one guy. >> according to the "star ledger" the officers involved in the incident are on duty and no word whether there is any internal investigation. we reached out to the patterson police department, and they declined to comment. the 2013 pikes peak hill climb is in the books with a new world record holder. sebastian lobe is a world rally car star. the frenchman is driving a peugeot 208 and the former record was 9:00:48. >> wait, how long is this climb? >> well, it is 12-mile course. >> he did it in nine minutes? >> yes, he smashed that record and clocked 8:13.

how did he do it? complete control and focus and not letting anything bother him, including things like this. did you see that? >> what was that? >> really, what was that? >> well, let me show you a different angle and watch what these dopes do. they are race spectators running across the road. lobe averaged a speed of 90 miles per hour, and in certain parts of the course getting up to 150 miles per hour. >> these are idiots. he could have taken them out. they are doing it at a curve. >> like the worst place to cross the street. dumb. >> and despite all of that, lobe clocking an incredibly fast time. and he puts out this entirely different view of the angles, but pike's peak is a blur as he

blasts up the course. police are looking for this guy, and it is the second guy that you see coming into the 7-eleven at 4:00 in the morning. you see something in his hand. that is a knife. he storms the employees and tells them to get to the floor. the employees were startled that this gentleman stocky about 4'4" or 4'5" forces the man behind the counter and got an undisclosed amount of cash. he doesn't just leave but he puts hi hand on the guy with the neck and walks to the door. >> pick up that broom handle and beat the guy senseless, and they tell you not to do that, because you don't know how crazy he is, because if he comes into the convenient store to rob you, he is probably crazy.

i just wish he would do it one time. >> he was not wearing a mask? >> this man appears caucasian, but police say he was wearing dark makeup on the bottom half of the face. >> well, i hope they catch this kid, because that is a guy working at 4:00 a.m. just before this happens. parasailing in panama city beach, and this is supposed to be a fun vacation thrill, but this is anything but. in the air are 17-year-old alexis fairchild from huntington, indiana, and sydney goode from indiana, and you can see what happened. the rope snapped that connected them to the boat. >> oh, no. >> you can hear the concern from all of the people on the beach. >> oh, no. and wildlife conservation, the girls ran into a building and hit a power line and also hit a parked car before they hit the ground. the witnesses say that the girls went limp after hitting the first building, and they were in that state until they hit the ground. they are in critical condition. the florida fish and wildlife conservation commission is investigating the incident. we reached out to the parasailing company, and so far no comment. but they say that the investigation can be lengthy. a friend of the girls alex overby from indiana has started a give forward page to try to raise money for the girls and the families, because they have hefty medical bills. we have alex. now, can you tell us how the girls are doing? >> well, sydney had brain surgery, and i know she is the

worst off taking the general impact of the collision. and alexis is still in critical condition. >> tell us about the site. >> it is a site people can go on to make a donation for the families of alexis and sidney and i want to show them and the families as well, that there is a community of people helping to help out in any way. >> and you started the thing and it is up to thousand s s of dols and where the donations coming from? >> it started out with people locally around my county and then my friends sent it around world of mouth and now it is national. >> so you have complete stran strangers donating? >> well, everybody is willing to throw in a few dollars for a good cause. i'm extremely thankful for it. and i am sure they would, too, if they knew what was going on. >> well, alex, it is a good thing to help out the friends and we will be hoping they are okay. >> thank you. rescuers respond to a boat taking on water. >> they believe that the man may still be inside of that fishing boat, so one of the rescuers goes out there with a line.

soccer fans around the world are a passionate bunch and when the rivalry is taking place on the pitch, it is happening in the street. the people in the dark clothing are supporters of the team from gottenberg, sweden. the combined forces in the red are from heltsonberg, and they come together for an organized brawl in the street. they get close and then -- boom! it is all out mayhem. >> what! >> this is a real fight. this is a real fight, and they came together, and if you say my team is better than yours.

at about 20 seconds in, it looks like the guys in red get the ao looks like when a guy gets knocked down or a guy has had enough, they let him be, and some guys even help the opponents back up. it is all very sportg, maybe? >> no! no sh no, no. there is no sportsmanship because you leave the beaten up guy on the ground does not make you a good guy. >> you don't kick him when he is down. it is mano a mano brawling. >> better to do it here on the street rather than in a bar where glasses are thrown and people are cut or at a stadium where there are children around. >> and the guys go right back down street victorious. a fisherman radios in that his boat is taking on lots of

water, and really fast. so who comes to the rescue? the dunbar unit of the rnli and this is southwest of the uk. and this is going down fast. and they believe that the man may still be inside of the fishing boat, so one of the rescuers goings out there with the line and he is banging on the boat to determine if the guy is still in there, and after few moments he realize s ths that n is there on the boat. where did the guy go? one of these guys notices the man some 600 to 900 feet away. so of course sh, the rescue boa goes flying over in that direction, and there you will see the guy with the life jacket on also clinging to some debris. what is awesome about them, they are awesome rescuers and they are awesome at the individuvide

because look at this rescue, within seconds, they are in the water after this fisherman. >> this is a great way to say, this is how you do it, and do it well. >> maybe he was trying to swim to shore looks like in the direction of the shore. you can see the rope and the guys out there with some flotation device, and this part here is awesome because we have a from the water point of view angle of them pulling the guy up on the board. he was treated for hypothermia and taken to shore, but the guy was okay and all right after this. we have a couple of animals doing things that are human style. first, starting with the bird who really likes speed boxing. >> it looks like he is trying to box, too. i want to make the same noises, because i have a beak and i can. >> this part makes me laugh,

you are looking at ross harding from indiana and he is a beekeeper. he was called into a local apartment complex to relocate beesnd you can see the large bee swarms up there in t two o. and you have to watch at how he relocates the bees. he has one of the bee boxes there, and gets under the limb. watch what he does. >> you are kid meding me. it is like a slam dunk with the bees. >> this is not the only relocation job that day. he was called to a second residence to relocate bees in a tree, but he uses the swarm of bees that he just knocked out of the tree to attract the bees from the tree at the second residence. so these bees are down inside of the tree. watch this shot. >> oh, no. >> and this process he is going to be calling the trap out. he has a friend building a little structure and what he is

going to do is to place a screen in a funnel shape in a hole over the tree and then build this shelf if you will to set the bee box on as they swarm from a tree in other complex. this process will take 45 days, but it is pretty remarkable to watch. >> you will see the hole at the end of the tree-type funnel, and the bees can find their way out, but for some reason they can't find their way back in. so they will go into the bee box with these other bees. now he opens up this bee box up, and we will see how the bees have already started building the honeycombs in the box. >> when we spoke to ross, he estimated that there are 60,000 bees inside of this tree. as you can see, chris ttina stevens is an amputee, but she is going to be doing something super cool with the leg. she starts out by taking off the pros th

prosthetic leg and then she starts to play with the legos to create a prosthetic made out of nothing but legos. >> you have the dump out the whole box, and that is the only way to work with legos. >> she starts with creating a base, and something that will adhere to the old leg on that special sock that she has. she finally created a piece that actu actually sticks to her leg, and she starts finding pieces, and she starts to put them together, and before you know it, she has a pretty solid prosthetic going. >> whoa. >> she is also a practicing occupational therapist, and people at the lab said jokingly, you should do a lego leg, and she said, maybe i will. she did it. this is a fun video on youtube channel, but she has a lot of other informational videos related to health care therapy and prosthetics. >> i hope that lego gets in on this, because it is awesome. >> right here, she has the base that goes around the leg and then she creates the end that is going to act as her foot.

the mclaren mp 4-t, a very rare exotic super car can do lots of different things. gets you places very fast, and sexy looking and also roast marshmallows. liam measure took his blue mclaren and since it is easier to start the car than the fire, he chose the do this, put the marshmallow on the stick and hold it up to the exhaust pipes of the mclaren and rev the engine until it got good and hot. >> what! >> he eats it. >> sure you can. >> no way. >> and he takes the toasty marshmallow and puts it on the graham cracker and chocolate sauce. you got this kind of car, you like that flavor. >> do you? >> yes. what you have is unburnt fuel making it through the exhaust pipe and when it gets hot, it comes out with a puff of flame.

do that with the honda civic. this video starts with buddy hail going up to random people to hold hands, and he is doing it again. he is doing it again but switching gears from the usual stomping ground to this place in ch china. this guy, is no. okay. this one worked out, but this one, he terrifies the girl. this one, he goes up to hold the dude's hand and he apologizes to andrew. notice the guy in the background watching it happen, and he is like, is that going to happen? he is like going to hold his hand, but i think about it. and this lady thinks that andrew is going to steal her purse, because she is like, get out of here, dude. this couple is holding hands and andrew is like, well, let me see if i can get in on this mix. it is not working for him there.
