francisco city college. there is a rally planned next week as well. i was on a teleconference with the san francisco city college faculty, they said they were disappointed, demoralized but not surprised. today the body pulled the aredidation that is effected -- accreditation 2014. san francisco city college plans to appeal and there are lawsuits threatened. the college said they are open, the classes are on. students will get a degree and their credits will transfer. on their website the commission lists three reasons for pulling the accreditation, one of them is lack of financial accountability, another is

up your 4th of july forecast, when the heat warning expires. and more changes for the weekend. coming up at 5:18 p.m. it is day three of the bart strike and no end in sight but at least they are still talking. the talks restarted at 1:00 p.m. this afternoon after both sides met till the early morning hours. we have received knoppedication a deal is -- no indication a deal is close. bart said if trains aren't running tomorrow there will be limited bus service. and while the talks are going on as you can imagine so is another rough commute. live pictures of the approach to the bay bridge. those are the lanes on the left side of your screen. they are jammed up as folks head for the bay bridge. the back up started this afternoon and ever since there it has been slow going.

>> we are going to spend all day working very hard. >> reporter: lead negotiator for the bart workers speaking before negotiations resumed this afternoon and that statement is about all we got. spokespersons said they have been asked to keep the negotiations in the negotiating room. no back and forth public swipes about what the other side doing and we have heard some of that. one worker said progress was made yesterday and he hopes that will continue today. any progress prompts the question when they reach an agreement and the workers are told to report, what then. >> once they come back it should be around 12 hours to make all the safety inspections before any passenger service would begin. >> reporter: before that happens an agreement must be

martin. pranksters disrupted a skype call when a professor was testifying. the user name showed up on the screen in the courtroom and that is when people started to dial into the call disrupting the connection. the professor finished on a cell phone. school teacher accused of molesting a student pleaded not guilty today. he faces more than a dozen charges for molesting 10 students. investigators say it happened from october 2010 to april 2011. he is held at jail on $850,000 and due in court september 19. an arrest warrant for san francisco -- for san francisco 49ers linebacker ahmad brooks has been set aside. the district attorney office asked the warrant be shelled.

heading towards oakland, hayward, those places. you know traffic is bad when you see the access lines, they are also very busy as we people try to beat the traffic. a deadly accident at a summer camp near yosemite national park killed a counselor today at camp tawonga. a oak tree crashed down killing one young woman and injuring four other adults. the staff member who died is 21 years old. she was science student at uc santa cruz. two staff members are in the hospital in stable condition. two others suffered minor injuries. this is the one day of the dan haren and a new -- of the marin county fair and a new clothing policy. ktvu's cara liu has more.
