come over who try to put it out. the sprinkler system went off. this was at the engelfarm shopping center. this ended up damaging 15 other stores inny the shop strategy. mostly minor damage probably because of the water but you can see the damage that the store knickknacks suffered. about 100,000 australian dollars comes out to around 90,000 u.s. dollars. >> please tell me they caught this little nosnot. >> sthey did. she's not going to be charged. the crazy thing is the owner says he's not necessarily so upset with the girl. >> she's a very, very young girl. so we're not necessarily really blaming it on her. and, really, we hope she and us can all move away from this. >> what's really cool is despite the hefty bill that this store has now, they are also donate close to what would be 2,000 u.s. dollars to the firefighters association. >> i would like to thank all the firefighters. really you guys have helped us

and support us through this really difficult time. so just thank you. if you are going to have a brush with death, good thing you have it on go-pro so you can show people. this guy got his nice harley motorcycle. ready to go out for a ride. he's got a drive to work. up ahead you see the car. that car slows down without any brakes, maybe it just came off the gas, didn't use its brakes. same time, he noticed something off to the right that caught his eye. like oh, that's quite pretty over there. >> oh, geez. >> did he go -- is he on the car? >> you are absolutely right. this guy slammed into the back of a camaro. the bike stops. he lands on the back of the car. there are the people that were in the car. they come out to check on the guy. believe it or not, this guy was

unharmed. >> what hurts? are you hurt? >> they went to the hospital. they x-rayed him. no broken bones. he limped for about a week and a half and he was sore, but that was it. he hit this car, he claims, at 68 miles per hour. watch that again and watch where he lands. >> oh, my gosh. >>ow is that possle >> you feel like the grim off t safe. >> here's a close call. popular youtubecont >> cleaned the bumper right off the front of this sedan. you see theull wh out right in front of a motorcyclist. not going very fast but he just couldn't avoid that car as it pulls out in front of him. >> there was nowhere to go. the car pulled out when the motorcycle was right there on him. >> it appears the rider wasn't injured. the car, i am just surprised to see the whole bumper come right off the front of the car.

>> it's easy to know after watching these images coming from chile that the residents in this area are in a terrible predicament. a main water line broke. as you can see, the water main is surrounded by homes. the man recording this video eventually walks over to give us a different angle, and we see that the water is rushing down toward where that tree is. >> waterfall. >> and soon enough you hear him screaming for dear life because the wall is about to fall. >> as he's running away, the camera pans away, but we do catch a big slab of concrete falling down into those homes. >> thank goodness these people did get away from the edge. the dogs got away from the edge. but now all of the damage is going to these homes below. how are those people doing?

>> there were no injuries. everybody survived. the sanitary company there is taking responsibility for this incident. they are relocating all the families that were affected by this, and they will cover all the costs to rebuild the homes and fix this broken main. >> what a mess. the love the woman you're seeing is 27-year-old rochelle harris. you can see she's on a pretty magnificent trip to peru. now rochelle is part of a documentary series for discovery uk called "bugs, bites and parasites: tropical diseases uncovered." you are probably thinking, what? she got a terrible headache on the flight back from peru to the uk. so she went to a doctor. they thought, okay, maybe just an earache. then she started getting shooting pains down her face. she said you've got maggots in your ear. >> oh, gross! >> a family of eight maggots had burroed a 12-millimeter hole down her ear

>> i would have had a can of raid stuck in my ear. >> rochelle says she remembers walking through a swarm of flies and hearing a fly buzz around her ear. but after she shooed them away, thought nothing of it. it turns out a new world army screw worm fly has laid eggs inside her ear. and those eggs turned into maggots. >> you know they were eating. they couldn't have just hung out in there. they were eating stuff. they were eating the inside of her head. >> right. they were eating her flesh. >> she said that not only was she experiencing headaches and shooting pains but she was hearing this scratching noise and it turns out that it was the maggots eating her ear. >> we get to see the maggots? >> yes, you do. i warn you this is not for anyone who is squeamish. that's it. there's the maggots. >> good grief. i have to see this show. this premieres july 21st on

shoulder. one thing that helps her is walking and swimming. an adorable baby elephant, she is stayi rhtowha elephant conservation center. and the man in the water with her, i don't hate his job. the interesting thing is this is her second day in the water. he said the first day in the water, she wasn't as playful as she is right here. and he brought his camera out to show how fun it is swimming with this. what's really cool is you can see her moving around and getting exercise to that left shoulder. >> what's so great is she has a built-in snorkel. >> still move around and rehab herself. >> they say walking and swimming are good for her. i thought walking would be painful but they said it's good for her. it strengthens the muscles, which is what they are trying to do with her swimming.

it's summertime. people constantly looking for ways to make their lake going experience more exciting. these guys, they are on a boat and their buddy is up here on this bridge. now this guy is 19 years old and this bridge is in northern california. he's doing this to get some practice. this is a 40-foot high bridge. >> hey, he's got a life jacket on. bravo. kudos to that. >> and we know the water is deep enough. >> deep enough to absorb the impact of a 40-foot jump. >> let's hope. >> this guy may be a gymnast. watch what he pulls. thumbs up. one, two, three, four! >> oh, wow. >> please tell me it was deep enough. >> we just hear the guy behind the camera say one bad word. >> and the camera cuts off. >> we don't see the guy come up. >> the video shuts off before we see him come up but we know that he is fine and he's doing this kind of thing because he ultimately wants to be a red bull cliff jumper. >> it was pretty impressive.

anyone who has ever remodeled knows it's hard work. you are trying to remodel a new york apartment, even harder. >> well, laura is a blogger behind curved fevery and redesigned an apartment in manhattan. >> i have a week to do it and a budget of $2500. obviously, i took this because i love challenges. >> the budget and the time nonnegotiable. >> are we talking about throwing pillows and new sheets? >> come on. redesigning is more than pillows and materials. but it wasn't easy because she had to take a ferry to get to ikea to buy the stuff, put it back on the ferry, get back to the city. no easy feat. not only does she have to take a ferry to ikea. the apartment she's remodeling is on the fifth floor with no elevator. she's doing all the work on her own. she shows us the before and after of her redesign.

very clean and very white. it invites the light, which i love. >> are you telling me that's the same room? >> the exact same room. one of the things the owner wanted was a bar area. >> a whole new seating area that you didn't have before. >> it sounds easy and lauren makes it seem really easy. so to tell us more about how she accomplished this, we have lauren via skype "right this minute." when it comes to design, there is no challenge you aren't willing to take. >> unfortunately, yeah, that's the truth. >> so when it came to this particular one, did you at any point think, i don't think i'm going to be able to do it? >> no, this was a piece of cake. it was a hot, hot, hot piece of cake, but it was a piece of cake. >> what was the hardest part of the project? >> i think it was the last night when i was hanging the mirror because anyone who has worked with hinges, they are so finicky. if something is just slightly off and it was like 2:00 a.m. and i was so dead tired. >> probably one of my favorite things in the apartment, though, because it takes up no room and all you have to do is pull it out.

>> it's the most functional space-saving thing in the entire apartment. i love it, too. >> what's did the owners say when they came back in and saw all the work you had done. >> pretty much just this. they came in and it was just instantly just a room that they dreamed about being in. the atmosphere that they wanted. in this specific case, i needed to find a way to balance repurposing items and just getting things really cheap. >> your budget was $2,500. did you go over it by a few dollars? >> no, i came in just a hair under budget. there wasn't really an option to go over budget. dad's coming home from afghanistan, so it's time to tell the kids. >> he's got two little boys who have different reactions to the news. >> watch the sweet moment they get together to welcome dad

malakhov, all 5'7" of him being carried around by grizz chapman, 7 feet tall. he's from "30 rock." this video just came out. mark looks rather comfortable holding on to the front of grizz. they obviously catch a lot of stares. i love here when they pass the other dad who has the actual baby. that's funny. and can i get one of those things? >> i think you first need to find a guy as big as grizz. >> the question here is, do you want to carry the dude or do you want to be carried? >> no, i want to ride along. >> go to the subway. see if the train is coming. they recommend not leaning your baby over the tracks there. getting through the turnstyles at the subway station, not the easiest thing. >> have a little snack at one point. and mark even decides to take a nap. >> nice. >> he just walks around. crossing the street. a lot of people taking pictures. and then, why don't we take a selfie together.

radio stations execute some incredibly fun stunts. but this one, more delicious than anything. this was a stunt for 96.5 in brisbane, australia. >> and zach has come up with an idea that i wish we would try. >> looking for a way to make eating cheetohs on the couch less labor intensive. >> that is a very exhausting task. >> because the get the cheese on your hands and then you have to go to the bathroom and wash them off. >> this invention will revolutionize snacking. >> they invented the cheetoh cannon. they have an air compressor and put a cone on it so it would shoot a cheetoh into your mouth. >> one at a time? >> oh, it's cheese balls. i thought the weirdly shaped cheetoh. i thought how is that going to fly through the air. >> not one is going into the mouth. >> it was too much trajectory.
