white male were stabbed near stanon and hate streets near golden gate park. both victims were taken to san francisco general hospital. police say they are looking for two suspects. one described as a heavy african american male with dread locks. the other is an african american male who is wearing a white hooded sweatshirt. they fled the scene in a maroon car. police are looking for the gunman who opened fire on the man sitting in his car. claudine wong joins us from the scene. >> reporter: if you look behind me you can see the crime tape still sitting out here on the street. police left within the last hour. i have been talking to them about what they know about what happened. here's what we know. they were out here over night for hours progressing the scene and there were multiple crime scenes. they got calls around 2:00 last night. neighbors hearing lots of gunshots. we talked to one woman who said

she heard at least three. thought they were fire crackers or fire works of some sort. police got out here and found a victim shot multiple times. they thought he may have driven here after he was shot. >> we are working multiple crime scenes. it does look like the area where the victim is found was not where he was shot. >> reporter: they were out here for hours processing the scene. at this point they do not have a suspect description. they don't have any witnesses that we know of that actually saw the gunman or shooters leaving the scene. we are asking anyone with information to come forward. as far as the victim what we know about him he is in his 30s, lives in hayward but does not live in the neighborhood where the shooting happened. as far as we know. he's in intensive care in

critical condition. certainly at this point watching his condition very closely and talking to neighbors as they wake up. one woman told me she heard the sound of gunshots. didn't know what it was until she heard the sound of police cars. police are looking for the person accused of an attack at san moe say -- san jose state university. a 22-year-old man walking with friends near the science building got into an argument with another man at about 8:30. there was a fight and the other man reportedly slammed the victim's face into the sidewalk and then ran off. ktvu janine de la vega will have more on the search for the suspect and the victim coming up at the top of the hour. contract talks and the bart labor dispute will resume at 9:00 this morning. negotiators are trying to reach a deal before the sunday night strike deadline. the three big issues on the table which are wages, pensions, and health care

benefits. union leaders are strongly denying management's claim it had sweetened its numbers. >> the numbers that they have been giving the public and press are false. they are not true. >> doubling our salary proposal, slashing the medical proposal in half, i would say we are not getting anywhere. >> transit experts say a second bart strike next week would be far worse than the first one earlier this month. the number of overall workers will be higher than over the july 4th week. the bad memories of the first strike earlier this month is still fresh in their minds and commuters are painfully aware that losing bart cost them time and money. >> what are we going to do about child care and gas? >> the possibility of another strike just makes me so anxious. thinking about it. i just remember the last time

san francisco cab drivers are protesting ride sharing startups. they blasted their horns outside the cpuc office near city hall. the drivers see the smart phone enabled ride share services as illegal taxis that steal their business. >> unfair regulations, unfair competition. that covers their passengers in an event of an accident. >> they believe ride share drivers should go by the same rules as cab drivers. but the cpuc wants to regulate them in a new category called transportation regulation. it could pass the proposal at a meeting on september 5th. time is 4:35. there new rules. the faa won't let the airlines land at the same time another jet is landing on the parallel runway. pilots for u.s. airlines may

welcome back. the discovery of rabid bats has prompted an important warning for the city of davis. eight out of 12 dead bats recently found over the overpass in davis had now tested positive for ray rabies. they are still warning people not to pick up any bat they may see on the ground. bug experts will inspect the good will industry warehouse in burlingame where bedbugs was found last week. it also forced good will to get rid of thousands of dollars worth of donated goods that were stored in the infested areas. storm crews will spray for
