felony charges for the strange incident at the 16th street bart station. police say that perez ran naked through the station and grabbed passengers and kicked a worker. he was an acrobat for a group in berkeley but fired for outbursts. an inquest will start this morning. officers shot a 22-year-old tony ban that at an apartment complex in december. he charged at them with a knife. his family says that an officer fired in a panic after reacting to other officers tripping and falling behind him. a suspect is in custody after deputies found an ace hardware employee with stab wounds. that was yesterday at 9 a.m. at oliver's. they found the victim, a 49- year-old man, lying near the door. they located the suspect, 34

year old man in a nearby home. the victim was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. one of the three women and held for ten years in cleveland participated in the city's puerto rican day parade this weekend. gina dejesus waved to the crowd. and ariel castro, the man who kidnapped the three women, was sentenced to life without parole and 1000 years. the threat of a terrorist attack will keep 19 embassies closed this week. a message intercepted by officials triggered the closings of the embassies across the middle east and north africa. lawmakers say that the threat is

bribing officials. the body of a colorado snowboarder who was killed has been recovered. the crews spent three hours on mount hood in oregon. the crews had to move several tons of ice and snow to locate the 25-year-old. police say he was scouting locations to take pictures of the glacier when he was buried. the others with him made it off the mountain safely. we have information about the house fire in oakland that made crews work double time when the flames jumped to a house next door. the fire may have started in the electrical system. yesterday the flames broke out in the neighborhood near 19th and west streets. firefighters say the people escaped with no injuries. no one was hurt. police know the identity of the victim in the 30th homicide of the year. investigators say that a 19 year old was killed early on saturday morning riding in a car.
