shark decides it is time to bail. high water brings one driver to a halt. >> and the other one makes a run for it. >> why that did not work out so well. and some crazy antics by a fast food employee. >> the employee actually not an empl employee at all -- >> the mcprank of the mcmanager did not find mcmusing. >> that is -- ballsy. time for the white-knuckle video of the day, and where up in the air in the 2013 race of champions in south africa two of-day air racing, no gps, but you to follow a compass and a map. so we have a pilot and co-pilot up in the plane. they start recording because they spot the finish line. watch and listen at what happens right about here. notice the propeller slowing down through almost a stop. that is the engine failing. they switch over to a different

fuel tank and they start it back up, and died again two seconds later. they have to go to an emergency land i landing. >> where? >> to the right is a river bank and they are going to put this thing down. >> whoa! no way. >> nice. >> and then watch this. don't bend the prop. can they kipt down? >> right there. >> there is no other plane into the thing, and they land uninjured and engineers come to inspect the plane. they flew the plane out of there two hours later, so we have the pilot christian richardson and the navigator christian bob from south africa. you still don't know why this thing went down and why you had to do an emergency landing?

>> we don't know. maybe a vapor lock in the system. >> and you had to land it? >> yes, the only option in the entire route, because it is mountains and trees all over. >> we were five miles out just before the finish line. >> as we approach the large mountain, the engine fails and we guided over and then opened underneath, and we went down. we did finish the race. >> if this river bang had not been there, what were the options have been? >> we would have looked for the least amount of trees and lost as much speed before the landing and hope nfor the best. >> we were quite lucky, because if it happened five minutes earlier, it would have been a different story. >> and christian, the pilot, has been behind the controls for a year and a hafhalf. were you surprised he pulled off the landing? >> no. he is very good. >> and you won an award after

this? >> we won and a ward for professionalism, and the other pilots gave us a standing ovation. this video is going to make you gasp. have two 4x4s and this river is swollen from flooding and you can see the both of them coming toing the water's edge, and you think they are going to stop. well, one of them makes a run for it. >>[ speaking foreign language ]. >> oh, oh, oh. >> wow. >> someone risked that with children in their car. and then the little girl. >> you hear her crying and the little blond hair in the brave samaritan who dives in head first without thinking about it. >> did everybody get out okay? >> well, video cuts off after they go in to grab the little girl, but i'm happy to report that nobody was injured in this incident. it's a beautiful day on the beach in panama city, florida. this is panama city beach, but pay close attention to this fisherman here five deep in the water the. he has something by the tail that he is dragging to the shore. a five-foot hammerhead shark. >> why is he pulling it to shore? >> that is what i am thinking, where it is better for the thing to be, out in the shallows with the swimmers or on the beach with all of the spectators. >> listen to the crowd as he drags the hammerhead shark up on to the beach.

>> oh! >> those are hammerhead shark pups. >> it is shark week. >> they are vie sif rouse, and the eggs are fertilized inside of the tummy and the eggs hatch inside of mom and she has a live birth so these are in fact baby hammerheads. and you can can see the people grabbing them and kind of tossing them back into the water. >> did the guy know that it was having babies or totally by chance. >> totally by chance, and they tried to get the hammerhead back into the water and the shark was confused and trying to get back to the shore. then the park rangers came and got the shark back out a wway fm the shore and saved all of the

pups, too. how about a motor sports two-fer. this is the first guy's first day out there. and a nosedive. >> oh! >> he nose dives over the jump, and the buddies were trying to teach him what to do, right? but you can see from the beginning he does not know what to do. and he is going to fall before he can jump. this is the next one from juking video, and looks like out there with a whole bunch of dirt bikers out there doing stunts and pops a nice wheelie, but it is hard to see when you are up in the wheelie. he crashes into one of his other buddies who is up ahead on the road. that guy has no id that his friend is bearing dowonim. >> how did you do tethis. we can kind of see him. >> you can see the shadow. it does not look like a serious injury though. it is a strange scene when cameras catch a couple dangling from a balcony.

>> the boyfriend is upside down, and he has his arms between her legs trying to hold her up. >> how the argument led to the awkward hang out. see how some steel wool and wire make s

this video is a perfect example of why you should never fight on the balcony. let's head on over to china where you can see a woman being held by her boyfriend. look closely. her boyfriend is upside down and got his arms between her legs trying to hold her up while a neighbor is hanging on to him. >> two people are hanging from the balcony? there yes. there are two people hanging from the balcony. the girl is on the fifth floor arguing with the boy from the fourth floor and she slipped and

fell and the boyfriend grabbed her and he started to slip, and another neighbor saw it and grabbed his legs to try to hold her up. the firefighters have a ladder and emergency crew and the neighbor pushing the legs up and people from up above pulling the boyfriend up by his legs and the girlfriend as well. >> this guy caught his falling girlfriend from a balcony. >> in the middle of a fight. and remember, they were on different balconies and she was on the fifth and he was on the fourth. >> that is the weirdest part, like how do you have a fight with somebody who is a floor below and you can't see the person. >> that is why. >> maybe that is how it happened she was leaning over real hard to yell at him. >> and luckily, as you can see, everybody is okay. >> this is going to solidify the relationship. >> instead of breaking up, you get married because you had a near-death experience together and you made it through, and he did catch her. it could have been like, oops. this video was posted on

youtube channel nighthawk and they posted how-to videos. look at this thing. >> what is he doing? >> the way it works is essentially you take that steel wool scrub and unroll it, because essentially, it is a bunch of filaments stuck together in one roll, and they roll it together and that is how you get the one scrub. you unroll it, and then you take a copper wire and tighten it up, and decide how long or how short or how dense you want it. and then you take a lighter or a 9-volt battery, and you light it and start shake it. the filaments start flying all over the place to give us a really spectacular fireworks display. >> it is like it is raining fire. >> isn't it cool? >> it looks like he is a super hero. he does say that you have to be a very aware of safety and

some dudes are good and some dudes have flat out skills. this backhoe driver is going to load this heavy piece of equipment into the back of that dump truck without using any kind of ramp, nothing, watch. >> i love when guys can do this. incredible given that the truck looks smaller than that heavier machinery. >> and he has the dump truck in the back of the truck and raises the tractor in front of the bucket, and he puts the stabilizingers down to lift the back of the truck. and he has the backhoe truck and starts to shove it in the back of the dump truck. >> he is reversing and facing the opposite direction of the truck and using it backwards. >> and once he gets the front wheels in the front of the dump truck, it is a four-wheel tractor the pull himself into

little nice care package, and two actually to try to cheer him up. he got a nationwide blanket and envelope, and here is what gets deegan. >> you can tell that he is stoked about the racecar and the dad points out that he was most excited about the boxes which most kids are. here is the second package that he gets some nice nationwide apparel. little nationwide shirt. >> that is awesome. >> and some little shorts in there and another blanket. he is going to have all kinds of blanket blankets. and deegan had a nice message for the folks at nation woowide >> say, "thank you." and now feeding a puppy.

. the dark knight is not just protecting gotham city, but expanding into real estate. that is a big block of wood and the guy is apparently one of the best chainsaw carvers, simon o'rourke, and he is creating something spectacular with the piece of wood. >> i'm seeing it now. >> and you are wondering, batman and the block of wood and what do they have to do with real estate? well, apparently this piece was commissioned by phil and leah to place in their apartment which is close to st. giles church so people could see it from the apa apartment, and raise the allure and then they could sell it. >> so someone commissioned this to sell their apart mement? >> yes. and were they saying, what would
