stuck. >> how the herd showed him, we got your back, baby. plus, cop and kiss in the backseat. and surviving the big blob jump. >> three, two, one! >> and there goes their man. >> oh! i heard about bad bosses but this alleged incident takes the cake. police say this is jeffrey roberson, co-owner and manager of shovel head lounge. he's making a couple of drinks. he's going to have drinks as the bar is closing with a 27-year-old female bartender. but police say there was enough evidence in this video to arrest him. that evidence, that he slipped amphetamines into her drink. >> no. >> police say there was evidence of him taking something out of his pocket andutting it in the drink. >> he's the manager of the bar. he knows there's a camera. >> police said this woman said after drinking some of her cocktail she felt funny so she texted her boyfriend and she
9:02 am
said, i think my boss drugged me. by 2:00 a.m. she was rushed to the hospital. they admitted her and tex kol ji results say she had amphetamine in her body. >> he pulled this trick on an employee. can i speculate that maybe he's done this to other people? >> this man has been arrested and he's facing five counts of poisoning. >> he said his client has a sterling reputation in the community. >> and he strongly denies what he's accused of. >> this is absolutely terrifying because i'm certain if she worked with this guy on a daily basis this is probably someone that she thought she could trust. >> any bartender has a reasonable belief that the boss is probably not going to slip something into the drink. >> good thing before she was too out of it she texted the boyfriend. >> she was released from the hospital and fine now, but, boy, i think she's probably looking for another job. cool videos of dust devils. check this one out at madikwe
9:03 am
lake. >> that one is a few feet off the ground. >> the key thing about this is these people recording this video have a theory as to why this dust devil formed where it was. >> chicken. >> there was a chicken. apparently the barbecue was good. >> the barbecue was good. the devil of dust is coming to eat the chick sgen. >> it's just a bad joke, a terrible joke. >> it's so delicious, even the dust devil is attracted to it. >> dust can't eat anything. >> that's what you think. >> how do you know for sure? >> the guy thought, must be our chicken, funny line. >> here's another view of the dust devil. >> wow. >> that is different. >> could you make it go away if you just went in there and said boo! or go and see if taz is in there, the --
9:04 am
>> check this one out. over a hay field. >> at least the farmer didn't have to go out there and thrash it to get it out. >> this is from a small production company. >> it wasn't chick sgln seemed like an odd place to have a barbecue. obviously there had to be one nearby. if you had a dust buster and brought it up to a dust devil, a chick on the attract the dust devil. >> chicken is the bait. >> then comes the dust devil. >> then comes the -- >> dust buster. >> weirdest discussion ever. >> check that out. >> must be our chicken. now, i'm no expert on motorcycles or anything, but pretty sure this stunt rider needs to go back to stunt rider school. he is doing some sort of ghost riding maneuver. this is on purpose, but he can't catch his bike. and watch, there are some little kids ever there. >> oh, no.
9:05 am
>> this little girl. you're going to see it again in slow motion as this bone head tries to catch his bike. it goes slams into that metal railing. she saw it coming. looks like the older maybe sister or brother got out of there but that little girl just t got clipped and fell over. doesn't look like terrible injuries or anything but -- >> you can't let this happen. >> good thing that guard thing was there. if it wasn't, that thing would have gone right at her. it would have taken her down. >> i think he might need to brush up before his next stunt show. >> poor little girl. i feel so badly for her. she does pop right back up and her mom is right there to help her. this is in a game reserve in south africa. here's a small little baby elephant stuck in this little waterway. and there's a whole herd of elephants coming to the rescue. >> you mean no humans were
9:06 am
involved? >> no humans involved. in fact, the humans are on the other side of this fence area filming and watching in awe as these elephants try to help this little baby. >> wow. >> and listen to the cries of what i assume is this baby's mom. as you notice, you've got two elephants just reaching out with their trunk. they're trying to grab the trunk of the baby and wrap around and pull the baby out. but she slips right back in. >> i want to jump over that fence and just push that thing back up there. >> you want to lift it up and help a little bit. >> eventually what we end up seeing what we think is the mom kind of scaring all the other elephants away as if she's saying, all right, i'm going to do this. she turns around and see her sticking her foot backwards trying to see where the water is. i think she's trying to get in and maybe heave-ho thinking she can do something this way. >> eventually the whole herd,
9:07 am
they come back. they get t in the water and, look, as a team, they all come together and kind of wrap this baby up in their trunks and bring this baby elephant to safety! this is an elephant rescue performed completely by elephants. >> wow. don't see that every day. a big old claw is going after this car. >> oh, my gosh. >> crunch. >> through the windows, through the top of the cars. >> why this mash had to happen. and it's a prank all about that awkward moment when -- >> someone comes up to you and says what's up, and you're like, i have no idea who this person is. >> what's up? >> tony. >> oh, hi, tony. what's up, man? >> good to see, you man. >> see what happens when this prankster puts himself out there. 9:11 am
why not send it back or sell it. >> a u.s. customs and border patrol officer will explain exactly why they did this. >> the land rover defender that you see on top of that pile did not meet the safety rules of united states roads, so, therefore, it had to be destroyed. and what the importer did on that one is he manipulated that defender to look like it's older than 25 years, that he could legally import it. >> phony. >> right. that's why it's an illegal import and that's why they have to destroy it. >> they can get upwards of $100,000 for these vehicle and people are thinking they're buying a 1985 defender when it's a 2005 defender illegally altered. >> i'm glad they're crushing them. >> i thought you would feel better about it. how do you feel? >> it's still heartbreaking to watch. calling this humans or wild animals? we start in santa cruz, california, who decided to jog along the beach. look what they found on the beach. >> that looks like a remote

9:13 am
video was there and his friend had a video rolling. you can see from the back what happened. ben said the reason why the buffalo were charging was there was a car that wouldn't let them just most si along on their way. that set the buffalo to charging. remember where the buffalo crossed in front of his bike? >> yeah. >> you can see it walked to the other side and just stood there. >> they're brushing the legs of this guy. it's coming right at him. >> yeah, the big buffalo is like, i just want you guys to get a second view of how big i am. >> i'm pretty sure this has happened to all of us. >> i remember you. how have you been? >> good. >> someone comes up to you and says what's up? and you're like, i have no idea who this person is. >> tony. >> oh, hey, tony. >> what's up, man? >> good to so you. >> good to see you. >> hey, tony. >> this is ed, he is a comedian on youtube. she's approachi he's approaching strangers. >> who are you?

9:19 am
the next guy rides over him. >> oh no. >> and the third guy run os tefr rider. >> he got run over by three quads. how is he doing? >> that rider was unconscious for about four minutes. he had scrapes, bruises, and a mild concussion, but he got up after this and walked away. and i think what saved him was he seemed to be parallel with the racecourse and those two other quads almost rolled right over top of him, nearly crunching him. >> like a human speed bump. i think we can say that we're officially in the dog days of summer, right? >> yeah. >> you can really get lit up by mosquitos this time of year. and i want to show you something very cool. ends an indigo-go project right now. it's a kite patch. just a tiny patch like that that you can wear on your clothes that sends out chemical compounds that basically makes people invisible to mosquitos
9:20 am
for up to 48 hours. >> what? >> this is all developed by a company called ie crowd. now, imagine how useful this could be in parts of, say, africa where people have to deal with west nile virus, people have to deal with malaria and oftentimes that can be a life or death scenario. this isn't quite available in the u.s. yet but i did mention it is an indy-go-go campaign. wait until you see their page. their initial goal, $75,000. look at that. $483,000, plus they've raised just for $10, if you donate, you can send a five-pack of kite patches to a family in uganda. and if you do give the $10 you will be one of the first people to receive the kite patches yourself, which is a very cool -- we've got great friends and he's a project lead for kite mosquito patch and chief marketing officer of ie crowd. tell us briefly how this thing
9:21 am
works. >> we came up with a compound that are all nontoxic, capable of blocking mosquitos' ability to find humans. >> does this put up a shield around your entire body or if i wear it on my chest will i get bit on my ankles? >> as we expect now you will get covered with one kite patch all around your body from your ankles to your ears. >> how long until you believe this will be available in stores and available to people worldwide? >> right now we are interested in 12 months. this will be available in the u.s. and european markets, canada, south america. and ideally, well before we hope to have kite patch necessary places most burdened by malaria, yellow fever, west nile. we know that malaria, for example, kills over 660,000 people a year. and most of those are under the age of 5. >> i think also your hope is to
9:22 am
sort of replace the crude methods like mosquito nets in parts of the country with the kite patch. >> yes. exactly. >> we want kite patch to be the first line of defense. taking the game to mosquito, really. a little girl has some trouble getting off aride. rescue. >> no way. he grabs her by the waist, too. >> see how a 3-
9:25 am
okay, listen to me very closely because i'm only going to say this once. clean your ears. >> and also your ear phones. >> what is that? >> that is the weird creepy itsy bitsy little bug. >> that was inside like an ear bud. >> that thing is, in fact, coming out of the ear bud of this dude's ear phones. yeah. he says he put them in. something started sounding kind of weird. took it out. and that is what came out of the ear bud. >> i don't blame the guy. you don't check down that thing every single time before you put it in your ear. i'm just glad he pulled it out before the thing crawled in his brain. >> it could totally get to his brain and eat it up. >> i wonder what song he was listening to. >> i don't know.
9:26 am
we could learn a thing or two about how to treat people from kids. first, a 3-year-old at an amusement park had just gotten off what looks like a really scary ride. the one that makes you free-fall. this little girl is having trouble getting off the ride. >> everybody left already. they left her there. >> but this 3-year-old little boy is chivalry. chivalry is not dead. he knows how to treat a lady. >> and watch what he does. >> no way. >> and he grabbed her by the waist, too. >> yeah. stop for a smooch. just helps her out and runs back to mom. >> he's a classy man. >> like helping somebody with their bag on an airplane. >> i adore him. she needs to keep track of him when they are dating age she needs to put a ring on his finger. >> this little boy could teach us how to treat others by showing us how much he loves his teddy bear. >> this is russell. russell loves his teddy bear so
9:27 am
much that he consistently gives it kisses and gives it high fives. does this with this specific bear every single day and every single night. >> this is nice behavior but you want to make sure that there's consent. >> i think everybody would go for a nose nuzzle. >> what just happened? these three guys that you see here are about to set a world record. this is in twin fall, idaho. they're very intently looking down below. >> five. >> four. >> as he comes down below the big water trampoline. >> three, two -- >> oh, the blobs? >> the blob, yeah.
9:28 am
someone at the very end. >> one! see ya! >> landed on his back. >> that blob was built specifically for this record attempt and apparently they'd did, in fact, score a record by sending their friend 82 feet into the air, validated by guinness world records. >> at least they thought to wear helmets. i like to see that. they took their safety precautions. but you've got to get up the nerve to jump like that. that can't feel good landing on that from that high up. i would rather land on the blob. that's our show. thanks for joining us. we'll see you next time.
