>> oh! >> oh, boy! >> yeah, that fuel runs down on the hot part of the engine which ignites the fuel, and michael immediately unbelts himself, and he does get out unharmed. they were able to get this car back up and running and finish the race. >> i don't know if you would be able to get him out if you flipped him right side up. >> let's find out. >> well, to tell me about it is the racecar driver, and was it a good idea, michael, to roll you back up on the wheels or not? >> well, it was, because i could not get the harness off. >> so if you were on the side, there is a good chance that the car still would have erupted in flames and you were stuck on your side. >> that would have either happened or somebody could have drimed in to cut the belt and tried to help me themselves, and then they would have been in the line of fire, also. >> what was going through your mind once the fire started?

>> well, get of the car and don't panic was the big deal. >> what was the safety crew saying to you? >> they were asking me if i was all right and i said flip the car back up so i can get out of of the belt. they did the job 100% like they were supposed to. somebody yelled "fire!" and grabbed the extinguisher, but i was more worried about getting myself out of that thing than listening to anybody. >> what was damaged on the car? well, it is cosmetic and the whole structure, itself, held up. >> you were able to finish the race after that. >> when they flipped the car back up, i was telling the guys to get something under these things and look at the damage. the guys got to work on it and 25 minutes later, i was back on track and i drove the car the best i could with what i had. get on the ground. get on the ground! >> i see chase time and on the

run this time is curtis colter from kfsn from fayetteville gives us this video. he is on a motorcycle at 2:00 in the morning going about 100 miles per hour, and blowing through the red lights and the stop signs a and this is why a washington county deputy is after the guy, and also police say no helmet or riding gear. which iseds. eventually rtis colter wrecks the bike. you don't see it in the video, but he gets off and starts to run away on foot. they eventually caught up with the guy hiding behind the dumpster. >> get on the ground. get on the ground. >> after all of that, he hid behind the dumpster. >> can you hear me? >> no, sir, i had the ipod in. >> listening to a song called "run, baby, run." >> and he had to get to his shift at academy sports and

outdoor, and now facing charges of reckless driving and fleeing. some dirty deeds caught on camera in other parts of the country. first this surveillance video is from a seafood restaurant in myrtle beach. pay close attention to the woman walk walking in, and she is up to no good and the target is this woman. her name is carol anderson, the victim, and she was at her wedding dinner. we got the story from wmvf and the parking lot lady is close to carol anderson and has the cell phone up to her ear, and looking like she is talking and watching the restaurant, and when anderson sits up, that woman snatches her purse right off of the back of her chaird e realiz

was gone and the woman got off, and the worst part is that her engagement ring was in that purse. but this woman is so dumb that she showed up to the location a few days later and some people recognized her and she was detain and then she was arrested for the larceny. >> shame that you have the worry about hanging your purse on the backf of the chair. >> from myrtle beach, south carolina, over to a home in washington. we got a story from cairo 7, and this surveillance camera inside of a house catches this man, and that is not the home resident according to the homeowners, and they believe he shimmied up the drainpipe and got in through and upstairs window, and he is letting in the partner in crime, and they end up stealing a wallet and purse and got in and out of the house incredibly quickly, and now after speaking to neighbors in the area, now that they are on video that these guys are captured and we

need the help of people so they don't hit any other homes in the neighborhood. listening to amazing encounters with shark, but this is quite scary. this happened in port beach in free mantle, australia, and the man said while he was out there in his boat, a great white shark bigger than his boat was m menacing him. >> that thing is humongous! >> he wants to eat me. >> that is a great white shark and it is a boat that is four meters long and you can see that he is terrified as you tell from the language. he said that the shark at one point went under the boat, so he turned the engine on. it d >> this is jaws! >> holy [ bleep ]. >> the shark latched on to the engine. >> no, it didn't.

>> it did. this is rob collins talking about what happened to his boat and the damage that hit behind. >> i have pretty much grabbed the steering wheel and put the other hand on the motor and it started spinning and it was shaking this way. >> we hear from the experts that the sharks are not out in the world after humans and this is making a bad case for that story. >> we got the story from 7 news, and 7 news also had this story about a humpback whale rescue. this humpback whale got caught in shark netting off of the coast of australia and the sea world rescue team was called in. and the shark net was wrapped around the head and the pectoral fin and took them three hours to get this thing free. because the second time in two weeks that this has happen and the third time this month that they have had to go to rescue one. so shark netting and a problem for the humpbacks, but after you see that other shark, you understand why the nets are up. >> you need the nets up because a lot of the great whites are off of australia, and i guess they like it. >> yes.
