they barged in about 11:30 p.m. last night while 5 adults were inside. one of the victims pulled out a gun and that is when the shooting started. the victim was shot in the shoulder. two of the suspects were also hit and ran from the house and drove to a hospital in san jose. >> the individuals who arrived at the hospital have been identified as suspects in the robbery. one of the suspects was dead on avival the other was suffering a non--- on arrival and the other was suffering a non-life threatening wound. the family of a teen is looking for answers after the woman bled to death after giving birth in a dorm room. ayaanah gibson died over the weekend on the campus of benedict college in south carolina. ayaanah gibson she did not seeking medical attention after giving birtht to a still born

a father approaching the end of his life wants to find his son's killer. the father is making that plea two years after a traffic accident triggered a deadly shooting. ktvu's mike mibach spoke with the father about the fight -- father about the fight. >> he was a good guy and i was proud of him. >> reporter: tonight a story of family. >> i would embrace him. >> reporter: a father and son -- >> he was by my side all the way. that was my only son. >> dad who can barely see, sleep or eat. he is dying. he can barely breathe, is in pain but it is the pain of another day that tears him apart on the inside. three days before christmas, december 22, 2011. shots fired west oakland. >> this case is very important.

peace, not pain. mike mibach, ktvu channel 2 news. two gang members are blaming each other for a deadly shooting in union city last month. both are now charged with murder. court records indicate they each say it was the other one who pulled the trigger. it happened early in the morning on august 25. two men were both chimp the documents say -- killed. documents say they thought they were rival gang members. at 6:30 p.m. there is a peace march schedule and we will be there. -- scheduled and we will be there. fire that started near two vans on 9th street and spread to a nearby home and apartment building. the building was evacuated.

there were people inside the two vans but they weren't there at the time of the fire. to san jose where six people were taken to the hospital after this crash between a bus and a van after 8:00 a.m. this morning. four adult special needs students were on the bus. a family of three was in the van. the transportation security administration is expanding their program and plans to open fast lanes in san jose and oakland soon. passengers go through without removing belts, shoes and computers. to qualify you pay $85 for five years and submit personal information for background information and finger print. >> if they come back good we allow them to use the lanes. >> sfo has precheck lanes. the tsa says they will come to

oakland and san jose this fall. the government says drug use among young people is dropping but it is booming among older people. these numbers come from a survey. it finds that drug use among 50- 54-year-olds doubled and tripled for people 55-59. the rate among children and teens 12-17 years old dropped last year to 9.5%. that is down from 11.6%. the ecigarettes could be turning teens into new users. the centers for disease control and prevention says the use of the ecigarettes doubled in one year. in 2011, 4% tried them. last year 10%. they can be purchased by anyone in sweet flavors that could be
