can't believe how fast the crime was. on the corner of this street, just 50 feet away from this freeway, they lined up at the casual car pool to start their day. >> the victim did not want his name or face shown for safety reasons, and he noticed three people get in line behind him. >> three young men with hoodies, and it didn't look like they were ready to get in a car. >> one of them pulled out a gun. >> he said, everyone give me your stuff. some people started to cry, and some ran into the street. >> the robber pointed the gun at his torso, and told him to hand everything over. >> i was shocked. >> he's lived across from this stop for several years. >> it's peaceful, and really we will maintained, and controlled.

arrested after four hours. a three alarm fire this afternoon from a church. it's not far from this bart station. a huge plume of black smoke, billowed from the church, and it's the first of that denomination in that area, and it's been holding services there for close to 100 years. >> it's means a lot to the community, it does a food give away program, and other things in the community, it's an important fixture in the community. >> the fire knocked out power to about 1,900 customers, and the power has since been restored for most. and they tweeted about the fire, and follow us on twitter, for breaking news 24 hours a day. a flight headed to san francisco from atlanta, made an unscheduled stop in wichita,

kansas today. it landed at the airport at 11:45 this morning our time, after smoke was reported in the can cockpit. all passengers, and crew had to wait for hours at the airport, and the flight resumed at 4:30 to atlanta. a community is in mourning tonight, after this 12-year-old boy was hit and killed while riding his bicycle this morning. it was a complete accidental, and he was riding his bike in front of his school, and we spoke to parents who are trying to explain the loss to their children. ken? >> the parents and students isn't the last past half hour, that's adding to the memorial, it's about where i'm standing here. they say a mother driving an suv dropped her kids off here, she

was leaving the school, and trying to make a right-hand lane turn, and she did not see the boy, and turned and struck him. it's a boy that locals say they saw him every day. it's an image hard to take in, a bicycle sized for a child, bent and broken under the suv. this boy was on that bike. >> it's the most horrible thing that's happened here in a long time. >> his kids go to the same school, and he drove past this morning. >> my wife pulled the kids out early today. >> the woman driving the suv had just dropped off her kids, and was making a right on the street, and looking left on on coming traffic, and as she turned right, she felt an impact. >> that's when she realized he

struck the bicycle, and he was krushld under the vehicle. >> this is a rural area, and the busy road, but speed was not a factor, and simply looking both ways, could have prevented an accidental. >> extremely sad, the young boy was very popular and well known. >> in addition to this memorial on the campus grounds, there will be a vigil tonight at 7:00, in nearby discovery bay. the driver so far has not been charged, and it's an accidental, for -- accident for both the victim and the driver. ktvu channel 2 news. a trial date was set today for a foreman school teacher -- former school teacher, charged with molesting a student.

25 felony charges, and accused of sex crimes for more than a dozen of fourth and fifth grade boys. the trial is set for march of next year. the police are crediting a smart phone app to nab a burglary suspect. the investigators used the app, find my i-pad, and arrested this man at his home in san josi, the police were not able to recover the item frs that home, but they did find laptops, stolen from other homes. the city wide youth curfew as a way to have fighting the crime problem if oakland. the district, he says he's planning to introduce the measure at a committee meeting on thursday, that curfew would bar anyone under the age of 18, to be in public areas after 10

employees wear it. the governor today, signed a bill into law that expands the internet privacy for children. it's the first of its kind in the nation, it throws children and others, to permanently remove they're posting on the international, and social media sites. the websites cannot retain the posts, and clearly instructs the young user, how to remove it. and it does not allow the firearms, and drugs, on that website. the area opponents on a new bill, are urging the governor to veto the legislation. the groups say that led bullets -- lead bullets can cause

workers have insisted that safety is a point, and bart says that it's one of the best when it comes to rail systems. we excuse with the union representatives today. >> the union insists that safety is just as important as pay and benefits, but depending on the many groups and individuals that are counting, depending on that, the numbers don't add up. the union says that safety has not been a major contract negotiating issue, the union says it's tired of being ignore by the company. >> the district has failed to address these issues. >> we told you last week, they say that bart has a good safety record. in the three and a half years from 2009 to may of this one, they racked up 42 safety

down. the overnight lows in the 50's, and daytime highs cooler than today. daytime highs tomorrow, though, 70, 60s, something like that. you might get a low 80s, in brentwood, and same with wednesday. the extended forecast, the winds go breezy, and they clock it out of the north, to the end of the week, and things warm up. but not the next couple of days, tuesday and wednesday, the temperatures trend down, with the cooler air to the north, and it drops the temperatures. tomorrow, in downtown, 60 degrees at lunchtime, and 70, and pretty there as well. 78 in brentwood, and 73 here, you get the picture. good air quality, nice temperatures a beautiful day, wednesday looks just like this. the five day forecast, the bay area weekend in view, the temperatures down a little bit, and on wednesday, down a bit

. some bay area teams are decide their part to fight the isolation in the schools, and the program reaches out to middle school students who feel isolated to their peers. it's having an impact in the area, and the be the one campaign is in san francisco. >> you should be the one to go out there and fight for helping people, to go and sit with people at lunch. >> the team uses the digital platforms, to get out their message. the 49ers, are helping smith get treatment. >> a few days too late, and better late than never. everybody had an opinion, get
