released for lack of evidence. they are passing out flyers before the giants game urging witnesses to the fight to come forward. fans streamed into the stadium and jonathan denver's friends and relatives passed out flyers. >> losing a child is a heart ache no one should endure. >> reporter: he witnessed the fight and believed someone took cell phone video. >> anyone who witnessed the incident needs to come forth so the families can have a finish of closure. >> reporter: 21-year-old

michael montgomery has been sent free. >> it is difficult. i can't read my paper. >> reporter: she was too distraught. >> the alleged perpetrator is released from jail and jonathan is gone forever. >> more than once that night jonathan told me how much he loved me. that will remain my most cherished memory. >> reporter: prosecutors say they need more evidence before they charge montgomery.
