that means there is not much left. it is under the radar beam. the drizzle here along the coast and there will be light rain drizzle even towards the south bay. heavier rain to the north. drizzle mild but cloudy with light rain. in the 60s. we'll end up with 70s. as we look at these live pictures i want to show you. you mentioned the wet weather even if it is a little bit wet it may have a problem with the morning commute. this is a look at the bridge. that traffic looks okay. the driver is okay on highway 4. you come up no major problems there. the morning commute is doing pretty well if you are driving on the south bay commute.

traffic is looking good driving through. at 4:30 go back to the desk. we have new developments in the crash in san francisco that killed a 16 year old boy on friday morning. we have more from the scene in san francisco's lower pacific heights neighborhood. >> reporter: police are saying the woman responsible for the crash has been arrested on vehicular manslaughter charges. no drugs or alcohol involved. this was about speed. if you look here you can see there is a memorial here for -- to honor the 16 year old who lost his life on the way to school on friday morning. two police officers were witnesses to the crash before 7:00. they say the woman was driving between 70 and 80 miles an hour in her silver mercedes for three blocks when she rear end

adminny van. a 16-year-old was on his way to school with his family. he died at the scene. three other people in a catering van were hurt. witnesses say the driver in the case, the suspect, got out of the car and appeared to be fine. he was a junior at lincoln high school and his friends came here yesterday afternoon to lay flowers and post well wishes back here live. there is a picture of him here and the people who were his fellow students here have posted messages. they came out here to have a prayer for him last night. we're going to see if we can talk to the police this morning to find more about the suspect in the case. drugs are blamed for a party that tushed -- turned

violent. emergency responders were called to a home. a party goer reported a teen having a seizure possibly from using acid or lsd. firefighters say the 16 year old boy refused to let them in and was combative. >> the firefighters described him being very strong. this is what we saw with the use of pcp. we don't see that any more. >> that young man and girlfriend spit blood in their faces. those two and others were arrested on several charges including ail sault. they were taken to a hospital and bound for juvenile hall. mill valley has a social host ordinance and a 16 year old girl who hosted the party was cited. her parents could be held responsible. the home is owned by her family, property owners can be fined 750 to $1000 when there

is a party with teenaged drinking. 100 people were arrested at a rave and they were drug related. this a picture of some of the drugs collected. bins were set up for them to dump their drugs. 25,000 people attended the raid. they received complaints about noise. now to the continuing coverage of the stabbing of an la dodgers fan. the family of jonathan denver returned to the park. they handed out fliers urging witnesses who saw the attack to step forward. >> anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward so the families can have some measure of closure. >> he was killed after

attending a game. the only identified suspect is michael montgomery of lodi was released on friday night. there is not enough evidence to charge him at this time. we have more video of the plea by the family. can you find a link to it on our home page. proceeds from the games went to benefit brian stowe he gave a thumbs up. they donated $10 from each ticket. it is meant to help to cover the cost of his recovery. he suffered brain stage after the incident. police are investigating the 18th homicide of the year. at 7:00 last night they were called to a complex. police say the 18 year old was shot in the neck and ran into an apartment before he collapsed. he died at the scene. his name has not been released.

since 1979. today is the first official day for the president of the university of california. she will be paid $571,000 a year. that's three time was she made as a member of the president's cabinet. but it is $21,000 less than uc paid her predecessor. a call center will enroll people under the affordable care act. it will make it easier to get insurance. it will offer plans from 13 companies. state organizers say four million people are eligible for obama care and 4000 living here in the bay area. the center will open up at 8. agents can answer questions in 13 languages. meantime nurses across northern california are scheduled to rally outside of three hospitals later today. organizers say the rally is to educate people about to sign up for obama care. they say people need to realize

not release her sources she could face jail time and pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity for the shootings that killed 12. the retrail for the student accused of killing her british roommate in 2007 starts in italy today. amanda knox and her exboyfriend were acquitted of the murder. but the supreme court in italy sent it back to an appeals court. she will be ordered to return to italy. measures will be in place for the chicago marathon. over the weekend some of the runners registered attended an event to get advice from experienced runners. they heard about new security procedures for the october 13th race the first big city marathon since boston. >> we'll have four checkpoints. they will be screened. >> i feel safe. >> i don't have concerned.

>> organizers of the marathon say they consulted with the police in boston after three people were killed at the finish line of the marathon in april. the flame is making its way to russia for the games. a lighting ceremony was held in greece, the site of the original games. it will start the 40,000-mile trip. it will be carried by hot air balloon, a ice breaker and dog. and the games start on february 7th. lawyers for a-rod are expected to face off with baseball today over his suspension. both sides will meet and the league has issued a suspension against a-rod for allegations he used performance enhancing drugs. if it is not overturned colose millions of dollars in pay. if it is overturned baseball says that it could weaken its authority to enforce anti-

doping rules. >> and a safety is ready to appeal if he is fined over the hit during the game. whitner was flagged after hitting a rams receiver's helmet. he was penalised for hitting amad bradshaw but the league said it was legal. the numbers are in and the breast cancer walk brought in $4 million. organizers say more than 2000 participated in the two-day event. the walk started on saturday and continued throughout san francisco and parts of marin county. avon said 80% of the money raised will go to research and treatment. it was a successful swim. this is video of them training. now max ashton, tanner robinson and katy cuppy completed the swim in less than 90 minutes.

two women are recovering after a lit barbecue exploded. it was yesterday when a can was place today close to the barbecue. the two women were airlifted to the hospital. the 45 year old has been released. the other is in stable condition. police are launching a criminal investigation into an explosion and fire that burned three men in santa cruz. it was yesterday in a garage and apartment near lee brett avenue. witnesses heard blasts and saw the men come running out screaming. the fire caused $100,000 in damage to buildings and cars. a second phase of the bp oil spill starts in new orleans. this time the focus is on what they did to stop the flow into the gulf. it will focus on what seeped into the ocean. bp is fighting claims that it wags negligent. and bp knew it was possible but
