it's that time of the year when people start heading out to do some back country skiing. i have a video to serve as a reminder that it can be quite dangerous and you have to remember to stay safe. this video was shot back in april right after a big five-day storm blew through the vail, colorado area. that snow boarder in the green jacket is andy and he is headed down into the white powder back country skiing and this is not a marked slope and it's deep, it looks fresh and that gets andy into a lot of trouble. >> the feeling of that snow and the sound of it from the go-pro is scary enough. where's andy?

detect lights. i don't really get how that works in this whole thing. but watch when they get it robot up on a horizontal bar. in the olympics they have the uneven bars and parallel bars and i don't know what event this would be. to get him on the bar, he starts rocking. watch his legs. starts pumping, eventually able to spin around, spin around, spin around, watch this. flips off the bar and catches the bar again. but that's not the most impressive part. watch the landing. triple back flip and lands it. sticks the landing. watch it again in slow motion. even that little hop back that the gymnasts do after they hit the mat. one ankle up in the air. perfect landing. you would say a perfect 10, too, from the judges. >> if you're thinking like you're this smart, if you can make a robot do stuff, it's funny this is what you'd choose to make it do.
