hello, everybody. i'm beth troutman and it's time for great videos, "right this minute." an off-road racing team hits a swamp. >> watch how deep this water gets. >> see when they realize they're up to their necks in trouble. talk about unladylike behavior. a woman starts to slap another woman -- >> grab her by the hair, throw her on the ground. >> why some say the real criminal was the dude who did nothing. a 2-year-old spots the lingerie department. >> and she is mesmerized!

[ inaudible ] >> the eye-popping shopping trip with mommy. plus, the buzz word for your shot at a new ipad mini, a wedding dance move wipeout, and a groom with some amazing moves down the aisle. >> in his tuxedo. >> yeah. >> i'm afraid he's going to, like, knock himself out on one of the pews or something. the video's from russia, and it's usually bigger, crazier -- ♪ -- scarier. this is some video from a professional off-road racing event. in traps this woman, katia. she's a professional race driver, instructor and also a tv presenter. you see her get into this heavily modified toyota and enter this swampy, marshy, off-road section of this race. they probably would have been better served hopping into a submarine, because watch how deep this water gets.

>> ah! >> her windows are down, too. >> oh, yeah. right about here is when they start to take on a little bit of water and katia looks over at it, like man! no big deal. >> look at it filling up the cab of this thing! >> she's not even concerned! >> watch her barely even flinch. it comes up to her mouth. and she keeps her foot into it, like a pro. >> oh! >> she doesn't panic. imagine having that claustrophobic feeling of the water creeping up to your mouth. >> yeah. >> having nowhere to go, being strapped in. she just continues to do what she's supposed to do. now, at this point, her co-driver gets out of the vehicle, he sits on the front to try to add a little bit of weight to the front wheels to get a little bit of traction to pull herself out of this section. the water comes up again. she has to rise out of her seat and cocks her head to the side to get a little bit more breathing room in the cabin of that truck. >> do they get out or is that

car still sitting in a mud hole right now? >> according to some loose translations, they were able to get up to the banks of the river on the other side. it doesn't show it in the video, but yeah, they succeeded in this crossing. [ speaking foreign language ] >> see that big grin at the end of that video? like, this is fun! i have a couple of videos here showing two very different crimes. this first one is in china, and you very quickly see this woman walk up to another woman that's sitting down and instantly slap her across the face, grab her by the hair, throw her on the ground, kick her, punch her, take her bag and smack her over the head with it. >> what? >> she grabs a couple items that fall on the floor. the woman just takes off. meanwhile, this guy doesn't even flinch. >> that guy just stands there and stares. it almost looks like he's a lookout for this woman. >> what could she possibly have gotten away with? she just picked up the random stuff that fell out of her purse. it could have been a pack of gum. >> everybody just stands there. >> eventually, she just grabs

her stuff and probably at this point is puzzled of what just happened to her. >> video of who could care less. check out this other video. at first glance, you think this is just some apartment complex in birmingham, but it's not, because the camera that is recording the apartment complex is a heat-seeking camera, and it has spotted an apartment right on the tenth floor of this building putting off a lot of heat. this obviously raises a big, red flag. >> how can it give off that much heat and not burst into flames? >> it's not a sauna. >> it is a sauna, but not for humans, for cannabis. >> a green-out. >> they discovered that, yes, in fact, there are legal cannabis plants being grown in here, 143 of them, to be exact, a street value of about $47,000. >> oh, my gosh. >> a 28-year-old man, benjamin edwards, was arrested and charged. apparently, he was sentenced to two years in prison and ordered to do a three-month rehab. >> that's nit's like a growing

apartment. chris coates says he takes his camera in the water whenever he's free diving off the eastern coast of africa because wild stuff could happen! and this got pretty wild. there you see a humpback whale, and he says it got within a foot of him! then it got a little closer. >> the humpback responds! [ whale sounds ] >> in the face? >> he said it was an accident. he said that fin got within a foot of him. it came up to him. he was just out there, the whale approached him, and he said when the whale was turning, its fin hit him in the head and he felt its barnacles. that's quite the powerful hit. and he said if that whale was really trying to hit him, it would have hurt him a lot more. >> it might have been just a light slap, saying shut up, you think you can speak whale? it's gibberish. >> and had a calf with him, or

her. >> there is a calf under that whale right there. >> that is so cool. like, i can't -- you know whales are docile creatures, but it still had to be terrifying. >> he says he's done this before, wild stuff has happened, but this is one of the wildest that's happened to him. it is a remarkable, remarkable creature. ♪ [ applause ] okay, now from the ceremony of a wedding to a reception. here we have, you know, the dance circle, a bunch of dudes high-fiving, getting ready, not sure who the groom is, beers are being had, people are having fun, and then this. >> oh! >> oh, man! >> yeah, dude goes in like he's sliding into second base. >> oh. >> it looks like she was running on to the circle, on to that in front of him. i don't think he would have done that had she been there and he had seen her. obviously, it was an accident. >> i don't know how he didn't see her. >> yeah, right. looks like he torpedos right at her. >> looks to me like she's the catcher at home plate and he's the runner on third. >> so, she gets up, she looks like she's okay. a plane landing on a ship. no biggie unless it's coming in helicopter style. >> he's got to kind of come in on an angle. >> see if this pilot can pull off the tight maneuver.

♪ landing a plane on a ship is nothing new. we've seen that all over the place. now, this video is completely different. this is a small foxbat a-22 single-engine plane, which is built to be a short takeoff and

landing style plane. this guy is taking that ability of his plane to the extreme. you can see this boat up ahead. that's a large cargo ship with a very flat deck. he's approaching that ship and he's going to attempt to land on the deck. now, you can see it's got a large superstructure at the back of the boat, so he can't go straight in. he's got to kind of come in on an angle and land straight on the deck. >> it's not an emergency landing, anything like that. this guy's just, i'm going to see if i can do it. >> yeah, it's something he's been thinking about doing for a long time, says it's like a dream come true to be able to do this. now, keep in mind, the ship is moving. he lines up, gets around that superstructure of the ship and basically just plops this plane down. >> one little bounce and that's it. >> that's it. that's it. >> he did it! that's cool! >> it just dropped down, almost like a helicopter landing. really impressive skills to be able to pull that off. >> okay, now you've got the plane on the ship, now what? well, he's going to take off as well. >> he needs help from a couple of the crew members of the ship.

what they do is grab on to the plane and hold him back. the reason they're doing that is he's trying to get up a lot of thrust on the engine and build up that thrust so when they let go, it's almost like a sling shot. >> yeah, right. >> he's in the air. >> wow. >> now that he's up in the air, he gives a little wing nod, a little wave to the crew and everybody else involved in this as a thank you. ferret shreds on the guitar. ♪ [ laughter ] >> you know that game angry birds? well, this dog i don't think is a fan. >> that dog, and as you can see, that is an angry bird and let's just say it's getting in his face. >> what's the bird's deal? why is he so mad? >> they say the bird's a willy wag tail and the dog got a little close to the nest, so the bird was expressing its

displeasure with cossa and you can see he's like, i'm just passing through. maybe if i ignore it, it will fly ay. yeah, birds can be tewe go from black cat and a black tarantula. that cat is playing with the tarantula like it's a cat toy. >> that's just swatting, like bam! right on that thing. >> yeah. if the cat only knew it was, in fact, a tarantula and not some sort of cat toy. >> this thing could be deadly. >> it is not deadly. >> he picked it up! >> he picked it up by the leg. >> yes, he does pick it up, and at one point -- >> oh, eats it! he eats it! >> he eats it. he starts with the body. >> can a cat eat a tarantula? >> i think the cat will be okay. >> you would want to keep this cat around, you know? if you know that a cat can do this with a tarantula, you're going to be safe in your house. >> especially now that it could become the very first spider cat. >> ooh! >> yeah. >> you know what i'm saying? ♪ spider cat, spider cat

here we are high up in the sky above gardener, new york. we've got a group of experienced skydivers getting ready to go for a jump, but i want you to pay attention to the one man dressed in all blue. now, i say experienced because they're by themselves, these aren't tandem jumps, so these are guys who know what they're doing. this is jerome newman. he's got the camera. now, as they go out, watch the man in blue. they're in a formation here. they break off. now, look at that. >> oh, he's tumbling out of control. >> ooh. >> that is not supposed to happen. they were doing something called a teacup exit, and this guy is just spinning, spinning, spinning out of control at 10,000 feet. >> oh, my. >> okay? bad stuff here. eventually, at 2,000 feet, he's able to open his chute. see that white chute there for just a second, that's him. so, the chute is out, but he's still kind of out of whack. >> and his equilibrium is probably out of whack, still trying to gain his breath back.

>> i can't imagine how dizzy you are after that, how many times he spun. you can't even count. >> probably hundreds. >> he tore his hamstring because he was so out of whack on the ground. but the guy, ray, did walk away from this. as crazy as it seems, he was relatively uninjured, other than being just, i'm sure, completely worn out. >> i'm glad he had the wherewithal to get the composure and get together enough to land in that grassy area. >> and you have to imagine these other guys in air are seeing their buddy go down like that. that's got to be stressful on them, too. >> i wonder what you can do as a skydiver to rectify that out-of-control spin. what's the move to get yourself back in control? ♪ you really just never know what a child is going to say or do. no matter where you are, public place or not. this is little 2-year-old sloan. so cute. she is the daughter of one of our producers. and she is in the lingerie section of a department store. >> what are they?
