>> welcome back to a special edition of the x factor, where tonight, we're getting to know the final 12. next up, we're gonna move on to kelly rowland's category-- the over 25s. and first up in the over 25s, rachel potter. >> ♪ yeah, yeah, yeah i'm rachel potter. i'm 29 years old, and i'm from nashville, tennessee. ever since i was probably about five years old, i have always dreamed of being a country singer. i moved to nashville from new york. now i am bartending because i have to be able to support myself while i go after this dream. [cheers and applause] my first audition-- i just went in with the attitude that if this is meant to be, it will be. ♪ can anybody find me >> rachel potter is my powerhouse vocalist. her vocal stylings are so unique. i love that about her.

>> ♪ love [cheers and applause] >> where do i begin? you're just a beast. >> [laughs] thank you. there's a moment that it feels like your life has changed, and when that happened, when that moment happened in new york, it was like... wow. ♪ baby ♪ you must not know 'bout me ♪ you must not know 'bout me for the 4 chair challenge, i truly wasn't feeling very good, and honestly, i don't think i've ever felt pressure like that before. it was just, like, very overwhelming. [voice cracks] ♪ yeah... ♪ and you must not ♪ know 'bout me ♪ oh... ♪ matter fact, he'll be here when i heard the boos, that was one of the hardest moments of my life, and i was just trying to hold it together and not cry my eyes out. >> how do you feel about that performance? >> to be quite honest with you, i don't feel like it was my best. >> that was...kind of rough.

for you. >> congratulations, rachel potter. you are in the final three. >> i'm so excited for this opportunity. i don't want to go back to bartending in nashville. i've come this far. i'm not going home. >> up next in kelly's category is jeff gutt. >> my name is jeff gutt. i'm 37 years old. i'm a single dad. i'm from detroit, michigan. back home, my job usually is singing in cover bands. ♪ yeah... i auditioned for x factor again this year because of my son. once i had my son, everything changed for me. every priority in my life changed. when i found out i had a son, i moved back to detroit to be with him. being around my son, i rediscovered my love of music. last season, i made it to the end of boot camp. >> i'm sorry it didn't work out. >> i can't really explain what happened there. [sobs] i just feel bad for my son. it's gonna be hard to tell him. so this season, i came back
