his foot? now new video of the jump that left him in a world of hurt. >> and fishermen spot a stranded orca. what they did as another orca tried to help. plus want a 42 inch flat screen? we've got friday's buzz word for you to win. >> going into a giant bowl with a bunch of milk. >> see if he can finish the candy bar cereal challenge. >> oh, my goodness. >> we have two videos here. they're going to be jaw dropping. take a look at this intersection. you see the ambulance going through the red light -- >> oh! >> it's t-boned by another

ambulance. if you notice through the rear doors, a patient who was inside flies out. >> oh, no. >> what kind of driver would go blindly speeding through a busy intersection like that. lights and sirens don't clear an intersection for you. >> it turns out that was a pregnant woman in the vehicle. miraculously she and the two emts in the vehicle suffered only minor injuries. >> another jaw dropping video, play close attention to this train pulling up to the station inside the red circle. that was a 60-year-old woman that was trying to make it into the train as the doors were closing. a little too late. her hand and the groceries she was carrying inside the doors. right here she's pulling up. another passenger sees her, goes over and grabs her and she just collapses into that man's hands. the doors finally open and she's able to pull her groceries out

and walk away. >> wait a minute. the train was coming into this station, which means she was hanging on for a while? she rode from the last stop? >> that's correct. >> she didn't drop her groceries. she held on to her back. >> pretty sure you haven't forgotten about this video, the gruesome accident from a base jumping folly. got to blur this on tv because it is pretty ugly, the mangled mess left of his foot. now there is video of his jump. he has 1,000 base jumps under his belt. he was using some different gear and when he jumped, this was a malfunction with his parachute.

he banged into the mountain a number of times. he credits the quick work of his buddies getting a rescue helicopterer there. >> sorry, mom. think i lost my leg on that one. >> he thought he was going to die. doctors were able to save his foot. doctors are also saying he's going to be able to walk again. he believes he'll be rock climbing and doing all that stuff he loves so much, it going to take some time, but he's going to be rock climbing again. >> how do you get back on the horse? >> i think we learned it in their blood and it's still in his body and he wants to do it. >> a group of fishermen out looking for shrimp wound up

finding something much big and much more dangerous. >> near prince of wales island in southeast alaska. soon they realize one of the whales, they believe, is actually stuck on the rocks. >> oh. >> and they believe it was because the whale was chasing a sea lion and -- >> there's at least two or three arcias nearby. p pot. >> it exactly what they do. the back of the whale is so far out of the water. the tide is coming out. they have to work hard. they believe the whale was stuck for about four hours. >> this poor thing. >> the whale can't hold its head up any longer and they believe it's beginning to drown.

>> something i never thought i would hear, a whale drowning. >> but it's got to breathe through the blow hole. they can't, they believe, keep the blow hole up enough. they use their oars and a little bit of the buoyancy of the incoming tide and pushed the whale back into the water. >> and. >> i love these fishermen. >> there's no better way to watch rtm than on a brand new flat screen tv, right? >> right. that's why we're giving them away. >> and you're going to need friday's buzz word and you have to be 18 years old toin ter. the buzz word is coming um in

just a little bit. if we've learned one this evening on this show, it's that dash cam can come in handy when reviewing police activity. this man, william green, was reportedly behind the wheel of that car, driving with a suspended license. a police officer passed him on the road, recognized the guy, knew he was driving on a suspended license. mr. greene all right the car then erupted in flames. however, green was able to get out of the car and officers did arrest him and put him behind bars. he faces several charges, as you can imagine. >> this next footage is from an

idaho patrol officer. there was a man asleep in this car in the passenger seat. listen to this conversation. >> step out of the vehicle right now, okay? >> he did have a gun in his glove compartment. the officer springs into action when the he doesn't. >> as hooves telling him "let this go," he fired one shot and that shot was fatal. the prosecuting attorney determined that this shooting was justified and the officer's

life was pos pin danger. >> and this guy is pumped about this. >>, oh my, god, oh, my god! >> and when they got back to the surface? >> there was no sign of their boat. >> i'm panicked, panicked for these people. >> how a little device saved their lives.

welcome back to the show everybody. don't forget to check out rightthisminute.com. >> these guys were diving off the coast of new zealand. all was fine. immediately they start experiencing some pretty rough currents. >> once we got out, we realized it was a rough dive and a bit of a washing machine. >> they were expecting to be down for about 90 minutes. after 45 minutes they decided to call it quits. once they got to the surface, they realized they were in deep trouble. there was no sign of their boat.

the currents swept them away. the islands are 600 miles away from everything. there's no one around, it's desolate. so now what? >> i'm panicked, panicked for these people. >> the one thing that saved their butts. >> introducing the naughtless lifeline. >> the radio has one function, you can call for boats nearby. if you're if deep do-do, you can set off a gps alarm to boats anywhere like 4,000 miles away. and it did save these guys' lives. >> there are no other boats in that area. the only thing that got us out of that situation quickly was that skip had the lifeline. >> everybody orders that the school --

[ laughter >> it's captured every child's dream with this eating challenge. >> candy eating challenge. king size butter finger, two snickers bars, a twiks bar, king size kit cat and a whole ton of reeseies peanutbutter cups. >> all of that going into a giant bowl with a bunch of whipped cream.
