. hello, everybody. i'm beth troutman. it's time for all the agreed videos you've been looking for "right this minute." >> it appears the driver is still in the driver's door. >> a woman is spotted desperately trying to escape her sinking car. see the gutsy move of a good samaritan who acted not a moment too soon. >> want to race? >> an update on the cop who
3:01 pm
wanted a street race. he's back on the job. >> and firefighters are horrified. >> there is a dag present and tied to the house. >> the frantic rush to reach him before the flames do. >> plus, if you want a flat screen tv, we've got the buzz word for your shot to win and a look at a guy you should meet. >> this is logan paul. >> the video is making him a vine superstar. >> the quick actions of a few good samaritans probably saved the life of this woman. this is video from a law enforcement helicopter in florida. now you see that there? the car stuck, almost sinking into this retention pond. >> it appears the driver is still in the driver's door unable to get out at this time.
3:02 pm
the vehicle is not sinking and her head is above the water line. >> you see a flat bed truck backing up, getting really close to the woman's car. that's there to help out. and this is the moment where the woman is able to get out of her own car, jump on to the flat bed as another good samaritan gives her a hand and helps pull her on. but do you see that the car is now moving. >> they look like they have one female out of the vehicle at this time. >> it starts sinking. once the vehicle pulls away, the car goes under quickly. >> they got there just in the nick of time. >> it's almost like just the shifting of her body weight outside of the car was enough to dislodge the car and send it sinking. >> that is 35-year-old cynthia
3:03 pm
garza. apparently she had just dropped off her kid because she was taking the car to the shop when it jerked off the road and ended up here. you're probably wondering why didn't she get out of the car and swim away from the car. sheep said she doesn't know how to swim. >> looks like they have one female out of the vehicle at this time. >> is it a good idea to drag race your car against a police officer? lee pulls up to this intersection in his red honda, see an officer next to him and says -- >> want to race? >> i have a turbo. >> let's see. >> they go on a drag race, here and at the following intersection. >> i'll pass you heading to the light this time. >> the speeds are only around 60 miles an hour or so. it surprised us. as you remember, he resigned
3:04 pm
before they could fire him. the chief of police upset about this. but there's an update. he's back on the job. he's going to be on administrative duty for several weeks before he's put back out on the streets patrolling. the officer, carlos rogers told wffa he's sorry. >> i would like to apologize to you for my actions. >> there will be disciplinary actions. he got his job back. the person on the motorcycle, lee, rallied for him to get his job back. we talked to him and we'll have him on skype again. are you happy the officer is back on the force? >> very happy. i tried to do everything i did to let him know i didn't mean
3:05 pm
for him to lose his job. >> you've been in communication? >> me and him have been texting all tday today. >> i think you both learned something. >> yeah, don't race on the streets. >> do you think your efforts have something to do with his reinstatement? >> they told us because after looking at the video, they saw no law was broken. i think me and my friends getting as many likes and sharing it had a lot to do with it too. you. >> think maybe you and this officer go out for a ride? >> i hope so. i'd definitely love to do that. >> an east st. louis firefighter has his fire cam on because he's on his way to a fire in a garage. this garage is detached from a home. can you see the smoke up ahead and then you see flames and
3:06 pm
there are quite a few of them. >> if it's a garage, it probably has a lot of flammable material in it. >> that dog is tied to the house. it's on the porch you see the homeowner trying to help with those and get the fire out. mercifully his home isn't on fire, doesn't catch fire. and then he starts spraying. he's trying to cool the dog off because he wants the dog to calm down and go to the owner. right here, freeze frame, those were power lines. he said they were arcing the entire time. eventually the dog was on attend by the owner. but about four and a half minutes into the video, he hears something. that's a propane tank venting. after hearing that song, the firefighter said he, quote, gracefully retreated. the tank did not explode. however, the power lines are
3:07 pm
arcing. then the power lines are arcing and it looks like a light show. all of that together makes one really dangerous situation. >> the volunteer fire department has made it to the scene but they're not needed because this guy is able to put the fire out and save the dog. >> if you see a hitchhiker on the side of the road in the u.s., you keep on driving. >> don't pick up hitchhikers. we've been taught that for a long time. >> this is how they deal with hitchhikers in russia. he's a brave hitchhiker. he's into the just hitchhiking on the side of the road. he goes p gets to the middle of the road.
3:08 pm
>> this is driver's way of effectively dealing with the hitchhiker. >> the driver gets out and does this. >> oh, no. >> he just threw him over that fence. >> you don't know if this guy is going to rob you, he's trying to get in your car, you got kids in the back of that minivan, creep is trying to open the door. >> just drive around him. don't throw him away like a piece of trash. i feel bad for him now. he did go beyond hitchhiking and kind of carjacking. >> what's bizarre is somebody was kind of recording this whole incident hp le incident. listen to him. >> he found it amusing. >> the hitchhiker didn't resist. >> it probably would have been easier if he had asked for bus fare. >> some divers spot a couple of

3:14 pm
that's why this car is so rare. >> is this this dude who wrecks all of the really nice cars? he has nice cars and wrecks them? >> he doesn't really wreck them but he puts them through tracks that most would cringe at. he writes, hey, that's what this car was built to do, it's built to rally. >> is it bill gates? is this bill gates? >> we reached out and they said we prefer to remain anonymous. we'd love to know who they are and what they do and how they get their hands on these cars but for now it's going to have to be an ocular sensation. >> i have video of a drive-by shooting. i don't think i've ever said this before. i think you might like it.
3:15 pm
because the drive-by is drive-by archery. he's with his buddy ronnie. speeding by while lars hunger game style shooting at these targets. they shoot one there. but what about when they try three in a row, as ronnie whizes by on the bike? >> he's a speed archer. >> known for his speed archery. >> three direct hits in 1.3 seconds. apparently this is his first try, no practice. in the movie he was crazy fast. but this is a real life -- >> if you look up lars anderson on youtube, he's got all sorts of speed archery videos.
3:16 pm
>> was he holding all three arrows and all he had to do was release them, right? it's not like he had to grab it from the sack on his back and put it in? >> looks like he has three kind of queued up in the bow. >> see the history making stunt that blew away these spectators. >> it's nothing short of amazing. >> next "right this minute." >> and still to come, this rollerblader's got the move. >> holy what? >> the guy is like a monorail train. look at him go and go. >> plus the friday buzz word you need if you want a chance to win a flat screen tv next.

3:21 pm
>> we have a whole new respect for rollerbladers. >> we have seen some dramatic water rescues when people go in and try to save orcas. sea turtles you think they're not so bad, not as big, not as dangerous. this one is different. not one but two. you can see they're tied up right around the neck. there is line tied around the neck. and you can see a buoy that's kind of attached to them. these two got caught up in the line and each other. we have more than five minutes of video of people trying to cut these sea turtles free. >> that is heart breaking to see those animals. they can't move, they can't dive, they can't feed. luckily they can breathe. >> it's kind of lucky that they move kind of slow. these people are really trying
3:22 pm
to work to break these turtles free. right around here you can see they are starting to make some progress. they cut one halfway loose. they are a little more free to move around and that complicates their work trying to break them free. but eventually they are able to do it. >> oh god! >> well done. >> well done is right. >> we've seen a lot of gopro video on this show. usually it's someone swooshing done the slopes. a seven-week-old kitten is at the top of the tree. >> what compelled them to go up there? >> this guy comes in, grabs the cat. >> this is usually the point where the cat just flies out of the tree. >> and here you see the bucket coming down and all is safe with the world and kitten was okay. >> all right, everybody. it's time to give away another flat screen tv.
