he was criticalically injured, just weeks after he started on the force. he spent 20 days in the hospital. the trooper has recovered from his injuries but he's not actively on the force. the hart breaking part is you hear his partner run up to him. >> brent, brent, brent! don't move! [ bleep ] you've got to hurry. >> it's hard to hear his partner calling for help. he's distressed to what he's seeing. the video just now being released because the driver that struck the trooper has been sentenced to six months in jail and ordered to pay a thousand dollars fine. he did plead guilty but the trooper is also release it to remind people to move over when you see emergency lights on the

side of the road. give these guys room to work. and also slow down. you can see it's raining out there, conditions were not safe. they allege he was driving too fast for the conditions and they also allege he was using marijuana earlier in the day. >> i thought that was a piece of the car flying. you can't even tell it's a person. it looks like part of the bumper. >> it's hard to believe someone could survive that. >> there are dare devils and there are russian dare deals. this 23-year-old is about to perform a ridiculous stunt. i'll say it again, ridiculous stunt. if you look closely, you'll notice she standing on something very tall, a 330-foot electricity pilon and those wires going down from it, those are live electric wires. now, there a little makeshift plank there, literally made out of like three planks,

three-wooden boards. it is home made. this wouldn't be a russian stunt unless she had smoke coming out of her shoes or smoke coming from somewhere. >> whoo-hoo! >> watch. >> where's the bungee? >> it's actually not really a bungee jump. they're also calling it a rope swing, a rope jump because she freefalls four seconds and slides down a makeshift zip line and she's alongside those electric wires. >> that sass danger all over it. >> yes. it does look pretty cool because of the smoke. after she slides down this zip line, she just dangles there for a little bit and she's kind of in a little ballet pose. it.she didn't hesitate at all. >> before she jumps 330 feet, she said my life was missing

something. i thought i needed to add a little bit of excitement. >> when a tornado hits, the last place you want to be is right in its path. that's kind of what happened with the guy take taping this video in bali. when the video starts, the tornado is off in the distance but before you know it, the tornado starts getting very, very close. you start hearing the cracking sounds of the debris and the rooftops breaking and then this. huge sheets of rooftop just flying away, being torn like they're pieces of paper. this guy continues to record, even though the tornado was tearing the building right in front of him to pieces. he doesn't run for cover until it sound like one of the pieces of debris crashes through the room they're in. amazi amazingly, the tornado goes around their own building and

heading off into the distance. these guides incredibly lucky, no casualties. >> at what point do you ditch the video? i was thinking all right, now is the time to cut it off and run away. >> this is extremely dangerous. one of those pieces of debris could have come right at them. >> now, over to brazil to one of the slums in rio de janeiro. look at the building here. >> oh, no! >> the entire thing in one piece just fell off the cliff on to another boom that was at the bottom. >> oh, gosh. >> you see sparks. apparently in that building was 20 families and just moments before this happened, they had heard a noise. they decided to start moving out and just moments after they had done that, the building fell. no casualties in this accident either. >> what you're looking at in

brandise, italy is not your average heist. you can see them working with the crowbar to get into the atm. according to authorities, they're injecting this atm with a mixture of oxygen and gas to either create an explosion with an electrical contact or some flammable liquid. you'll notice here this evenings are going well until you hear something. that would be the police. they've been busted. >> this was the tenth atm robbery of this type by this group of five people. according to police, it was good old fashioned police work and a task force that mapped the areas. >> started looking at things as to what cars were in the area along with some wire tapping. >> five people were arrested

facing charges of criminal conspiracy, receiving stolen property, aggravated possession of explosive material and common fire arms. they didn't get away with it. >> this is from the massachusetts bay transportation authority. watch the unattended bags near the mcdonald's. >> the person who owns them nowhere to be seen. >> but this guy is checking out the scene because he's going to tack something. >> not smart to leave your bag in the common walkway while you go to get a burger. >> i was hoping he got away with a pair of granny panties and tampons or something not useful. he got away with a laptop. do not leave your bags unattended. somebody may take them. >> when this ferrari driver hits the road, all speed limits are

the verdict just came in in a case that revolved around the events caught in this video. this is from the wake county detention center in june. pay close attention to what's going on here.

you see a wake county detention officer having a very heated discussion with one of the inmates. that detention officer is 27-year-old marquis counsel and the inmate 40-year-old sean mclean. this discussion turns violent quickly. you see the detention officer push that inmate after the inmate got into the detention officer's face, but then watch what happened. counsel picks up mclean and slams him on to the ground. he picks him um again -- >> wow! he is a lot bigger than him. >> expected him up a second time, slammed him to the ground the second time. reports say in the second slam, mclean is already unconscious. you're right, there is a huge difference in size. reports say that counsel is a 300 pound former football player and that mclean weighed only 119 pounds. now this story gets even worse.

this inmate died 13 days later. coroners say the cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head. counsel did appear in court this week. as you remember, the verdict came in. the jury found counsel guilty of involuntary manslaughter. he received a two-year sentence, a 90-day sentence and -- >> i had to get the man cuffed. that's all i had to do. >> you guys know i love all different kinds of cars and i love to see them flex their muscle! on a public roadway, we see him get close to 175 miles per hour.

walking through. we wanted to encourage participation so we reached out and encouraged people to come. >> was there one that was your favorite? >> definitely the harmonica guy. he was just passing through playing his harmonica like absent mindedly. he saw the piano and walked over and started playing with us. and our pianist just immediately started playing along. that was my favorite scene for sewer. >> he's the wayne gretzky of waves, the babe ruth of the barrel, the scottie pippin of surfing. he's kelly slater, he's one of the best in the business and has been for years, a champ among champions. out of sunset beach in hawaii. these are all triple-crown events. making it look easy. the guy's fluidity is as beautiful as the water he's
