small medical center where he could take children in. but during the typhoon, it was destroyed. but look what they were able to do. look how the camera turns around. they moved 72 people on to the roof of this thing. everyone survived. 72 people, a dog, a cat. one of the girls was nine months pregnant. erland and his colleague moved them one by one because this was their best scenario. >> that roof was their best case, certainly not a guarantee for safety. >> they're all living down there

together. when you watch here, you can see look at the water. >> it looks like they were in the ocean. >> we were on the roof, all of us. >> erland spoke about all of it. >> we were on the roof and shaking and holding on for our life. >> you're seeing images db-tv. he credits his kids and says this isn't going to stop us. we're going to get through just like we did through the storm. >> my kids are so, so brave, my staff is so amazing. they refused to give up. even if it's not their own kids, they held them as if it was their own kids. >> got a couple of close calls on the roadways to share with you guys. we start in china. watch what happens. a girl and an adult on the scooter. tharp so close to that car.

the little girl slides off the tire. >> it's just the hood, right? >> she did not get severe injuries. she only got skin scratches. they say she was okay after this. miraculously no major injuries. the car was so small, they were able to pick the car up and get it off the girl and rush her to the hospital. >> but she was pinned under that tire. it's amaze they go didn't run over here. >> we move to moscow. watch this trailer has it comes around the corner. >> oh, no. >> what was in there if. >> look at that. that big thing came out of the back of that trailer as it makes the turn but it rolls oaf and stops just inches from the car. if you notice, it's coming around the corner normally but i

don't know if it was secured very well on the back of that truck. >> and the pedestrian up ahead missed it completely. >> missed it completely. >> this is tony on day four after his rescue. tony's wagging his tail. he's wearing one of those cones. and you also notice a very severe scar on his face. let me show you what he looked like beforehand. i have to tell you, it is very difficult to see. this is tony just days before that other video was taken. >> i can't believe they were able to rescue him. >> it's not clear how he ended up like this but he had a broken leg that was completely missing. he had a big wound to his entire face but someone found him and took him to the animal aid unlimited, an organization in india, that decided instead of putting him down in spite of the severity of his injuries, they decided let's try to save his life.

they ended up amputating his leg and sewed his face up. there he is with dr. antonella that is caring for him. but after the care and after the surgeries, he was now alive and well and happy to be around all the other dogs. >> i can't believe this is the same dog. >> four days later. can you imagine going through a severe surgery like that and being up and out of bed and be like hey, everybody. >> you're in bed for thursday. >> he's a happy little guy. >> talk about the total life extreme makeover. he probably didn't have much life left. >> still on the fence about the future of electric cars? not quite sure they're for you? maybe you drive in a cold weather climate like arnie. he has to drive to different remote locations in the snow. he's got that tesla model s.

got a couple of attempted robberies in philly. the first at a laundromat. these guys got farther than i expected because they were after the cash in the atm. as we've seen on the show, atm robberies generally don't go well. there was an employee, forced to the ground at gun point, and there was also a customer forced to the ground. that's the employees. that suspect has a revolver in his hand. he's stuffing it in his pocket as he's forcing the employees on the ground. he's going to put him in handcuffs and then they start in on the machine and they spend about 20 minutes trying to get into this thing. they were able to get the top off but they were not able to get any cash. the only thing they were able to

get away with was a laptop but not get anything money. >> in robbery attempt also unsuccessful. what if you go to rob someplace and nobody sticks around. that's what happened to a kentucky fried chicken in early november. this suspect walks in with a gun, coming to rob the place. according to police, you don't see any employees in here. that's because the employees in the back ran out the back door. >> what? they just abandoned ship? >> so he's running around with the gun and he realizes there's nobody there to open the cash register. watch when he leaves, he realizes he's not getting anything. >> there's nobody around to give him anything, he gets nothing. >> i'm sure when the couple finds out for the very first time they're going to have a little one, it probably looks a
