points and that's why cal fire has hired back some of their seasonal firefighters and they are beefing up staffing and waiting for rain during these winter months. >> until we see significant rainfall, we have that mechanism in place to keeping our additional staffing available to us. so i do not see an end to this until we get that rainfall. >> they want to be ready for that big fire incase it does breakout. they have several helicopters filled with helicopters and they are ready to fly in a moment's notice. humidity levels are very low during the next couple of days and the fire danger certainly remains high and red flag warnings will remain in effect

clothes and large frame glasses. health officials have confirmed two additional deaths. one death is reported in san mateo county and that person's age has not been released and sonoma county report is the death of a 50-year-old. and there have been 15 deaths so far in the bay area and this map shows where it has occurred county by county and the number of fatal cases, each reporting two deadly cases of the flu and all of the cases were younger than 65 years old. a senior living complex is taking extreme measures to keep its residence healthy. they have closed their dine being room da -- dining room and asked residents to remain in their rooms and visitors have been discouraged and

oakland should be represented. >> lee's mother needs to raise about $1,000 and they will have a memorial at the church. and she was shot and killed during a sleepover last july. 22-year-old darnell williams knocked on the door and fired shots as soon as it was opened. two other children were also injured. charges against a second suspect have been dropped and police say the shooting was in retaliation of germane davis and they say the man lived at the house where alicia was killed. they have announced a major recall. they are recalling more than 41,000 pounds of beef because the couse were not inn -- cows were not inspected before the slaughter.

time now 4:37 and supporters are expressing sadness over george miller. for the past 40 years miller has represented him and it stretches from richmond to concord and pittsburgh to south danville. he announced his retirement yesterday. during his 40 years in congress, miller has sponsored legislation on education and labor issues and is one of the most liberal issues known as a champion of the working class. >> wealthy and powerful, they have always had plenty of friends in washington. i went to the congress and stayed in the congress to stand up for the rest of us. now miller has a lot he wants to accomplish including pushing through legislation to boost the manipulate mum wage -- minimum wage and he will continue to work on.

degree murder charge for a man texting in a movie theater. it began when 43-year-old chad was texting his daughter. he began arguing with him and he pulled out a gun and shot him. he tried to stop him from shooting her husband. >> it was a all -- all over somebody texting in a movie theater. >> he was shot in the chest and died on the scene. witnesses said the movie had not even started when that argument began. and he will accept public comment following the shooting of andy lopez by a sheriff's deputy. today's meeting comes after a sonoma county task force in the wake of the shooting and members of the task force heard from activists who said they had been harassed for the
