on northbound 101, slow traffic from 880 up to northbound 101, 6:03 let's go back to the desk. they just reopened an area where a pedestrian was critically injured. this is the latest in the city and alex savage is there ativan ice -- van nuys -- at van nuys. >> san francisco police are now looking for a dark colored suv in this early morning accident. they were in this crosswalk when the suv slammed into him. the driver in this case kept ongoing and now police are trying to track that person down. the man who was hit has critical injuries sin is now being treated at san francisco

general hospital. they are just outside of city hall. he was a man in his 50s and he flew through the air in the middle of the intersection, at that time he flew through the intersection and it is unclear if he had a green light. the major department gathered evidence at the scene, but right now police don't have much information to go on in terms of who this driver was or the suv with the make and the model. as we come back out here, they will try to pull it through and they may have captured more of this crash and they can give us a better look at the suv which left one man with life- threatening injuries. alex savage, ktvu channel 2 morning news.
