3:02 pm
>> i like this because people who are 30 plus they already know about their own mortality. >> this is true. you can see that, you know, these races, these guys get really close to one another and as they go around this one turn, getting down really low and his knee close to the ground. here comes mike. like i said, these guys are friends and watch this moment here. >> oh! >> loses control. then takes out his buddy mike. these guys got to figure out where they are and get their bearings and find their board. they say they rallied here. they got on the thing after the big crash and continued the race. they were going back and forth the whole way down the hill. after that big crash everybody was okay. one did suffer a sprained ankle but he finished the race which is pretty impressive. we've got them joining "right this minute" from puerto rico. so, break down what happened in this crash here. how did it go down play by play? >> well, when we looked at the videotape we actually realized
3:03 pm
we could see the big rock that actually hit his front wheel shifti ining his board over. >> it seems like once you guys fell you immediately got back up. did you say are you all right? anything like that? >> we spoke to each other and i don't feel nothing. i saw he was fine, too, looking for his board. let's go. i look at him and i go you all right? we finish the race. >> tell us about the type of gear you wear and how much that contributed to your safety in this incident. >> it is really important to have the leather suit. >> what was recovery time like after hitting the pavement this hard? >> man, we're still figuring that out. we got some bumps and bruises we've been floating around in the ocean right here trying to get some therapy out of that. we've got a race next weekend and the weekend after that so we got more to come. this is a green turtle and her name is beyonce. and she's stuck.
3:04 pm
i think they named her beyonce because she's a survivor. this is on lady musgrave island in australia's great barrier reef a beautiful island. these campers see this green turtle is stuck so campers decide we got to help her out, there you see them pouring water over her keeping her hydrated because they said she'd been stuck there for hours. as you can see she's not light as a feather. >> right. you got to make sure you don't hurt her when you're moving her because you don't necessarily know how do i pick this giant animal up. >> eventually after they get her unstuck they get a blanket and move her on it. >> poor girl. >> she looks so lethargic and completely drained. i hope she pulls through. >> she was lethargic when they got her in the water, she didn't immediately swim away but she got her energy back. >> see her pop her head up. yay! now, off the departure bay

superstrong climbing one of the sides of the crane. >> that makes me tired just watching. look how high. look how far he had to climb. >> yeah. and the crazy thing that these guys keep doing over and over and it's mind blowing, they are not attached to anything, safety harnesses. nothing. the protection they have is the go pro centrstrap around their . i like this shot taking off of one of the towers. >> very gotham city, very batman looking. >> pretty cool. >> this is one of the creepiest one. we've seen this sort of thing before where they sort of walk across one of the limbs of the crane. >> a rounded beam and not even a flat surface. >> this is cool, as they are going on that beam, that rounded beam, they start panning out and you get a very solid idea of just how far up these guys are. yeah, look at that one. look at this. he's hanging on one arm. look. going down. he starts swinging and then he lets go.
3:07 pm
>> oh. yeah. >> and he looked down. he looks down. he's not afraid to look down at the street and hundreds of feet below. let's celebrate by giving an ipad mini. > we'll be doing that in just a little bit we'll beelling ywin. >> the buzzword is coming up and you have to be 18 years or older and a u.s. resident to enter. >> it's your "rtm" ipad giveaway coming up in a little bit. just when you think you've seen it all coming out of dash cams, these videos both involve trams. keep your eye on this go right here a pedestrian about to cross the street. look closely, it's tough to see but that's a blue pedestrian crossing sign and it's also tough to see because the streets are covered in snow. it looks like the car stopped for him and he makes a break for it. >> no! >> oh! >> oh, wait, looks, like, he did a break-dance move and got his legs out of there. >> good eye, steven, he did not get injured. boy, was that close. he goes running across the

street and at the last minute checks to see whether the tram is coming or not. >> and the snow gets him and he slips and falls. >> watch real quick he tucks his leg and rolls out of the way just saving his leg from getting run over because that tram two have hit him. >> this one, i don't know what to say about this one, other than just take a look, you see up ahead there, there's a disabled vehicle right on the tram tracks. now, you've heard the term couldn't care any less. these guys are car stuck on the tracks. the tram pulls up and stops. look at what they're doing. peeing? is he peeing? he's peeing. the guy on the right looks like he was about to pee i don't know whether he did or not, but the guy on the left is the in full stream in the middle of the intersection. shake it off, we've got to move this car. >> pushing the car off the tracks should take priority over draining the vein. >> i agree. >> they don't care about whipping it out in front of the traffic in the middle of the day. >> sometimes you got to go. a kite boarder soars up high
