a fly ball and sliding in. >> i got it! i think he states the obvious here. >> that wasn't part of the plan. >> but he's okay, which is the important thing. >> he came out of left field. >> oh. >> hey! >> [ bleep ] [ bleep ]. >> let's rewind this video, and see what led to this moment. it was a police chase. this all happened on january 31st, but police just released this dash cam footage. ahead, you see a ford escort driven by a 21-year-old male, he has a 24-year-old passenger in the car. apparently the drivers passed an officer and the officer decided to run the plate, found out the driver was driving on a suspended license. turned on the blue light. these guys decided to run away. these guys were going at speeds 75 miles per hour in 35 mile per hour zones and reached top speeds of 90 miles per hour. there are other drivers on this road. >> eventually officers had to

put down stop sticks to blow the tires out of this car, and that's when we get back to this moment i just showed you. >> hands up. [ bleep ]. [ bleep ]. >> he is able to get these guys under control, and you see him lead them both away with their hands behind their backs, puts them in the backseat. these guys are facing several charges. officers searched this vehicle and, according to report, found nearly 20 grams of heroin. >> got any other needles on you? >> [ bleep ]. >> the needles, a bad day -- >> beyond that the passenger was currently out on bond for previous charges ununrelated to this chase. >> great police work. cops able to corral these guys without serious crashes. doesn't look like they damage any property and got these guys, boom, done.
