truth from the folks who know. >> is this fake or not? plus, the buzzword for your shot at a new ipad mini. and the story behind the rap video -- >> let the students know school canceled. >> now, meet the head honchos who had no idea it would go so viral. >> if we'd known the audience, we probably would have rehearsed. the people you're about to see in this video are definitely up to something and what they're up to definitely not legal. got a guy with a helmet cam and a girl inside a gondola. the peak-to-peak gondola in whistler, british columbia, canada, 1,400 feet. very high up in the sky. watch the girl's feet. you can see she's got the door to that gondola wedged open. now, keep watching because he's about to base jump. >> wow. >> from this gondola. >> whoo-hoo hoo!

>> he jumps off this thing. listen right here. >> i did it! >> who he's referring to is famous base jumper and a free skier who did next act stunt in 2008 but it was sanctioned sort of to commemorate the opening of this gondola. shane passed away in 2009 performing a stunt in italy. so, this video is sort of paying tribute to shane mcconnell. at the very end of the video -- >> whoo hoo hoo! >> when he shots his go pro off, you see his face. this was posted to the web. the canadian mounted police were after it, these two. guess what, they figured out who the girl is. they made an arrest, 23-year-old, she claims she didn't know the guy. she met him on the gondola. >> it seems like he was participating a lot for someone who just met this guy on the gondola. >> she could be facing a substantial amount of jail time. the guy still on the run.

wanted in canada. police believe that he's out of the country somewhere. we think we've actually found the guy. we've reached out to the royal canadian mounted police and we're waiting to hear back from them, but we've located a guy who looks a lot like this dude we're seeing here at the end of the video and is wearing the exact same ski jacket which is a pretty unique jacket in some of his profile pictures he's got base jumping videos all over his profile, of course, we're not going to say his name here on the air in case we're wrong. he caused $10,000 in damage they are saying to this gondola. >> just boy wedging the doors open. >> jamming the door. >> you think if they would pull off an illegal stunt like this, they would get rid of all the evidence. >> and getti ting rid of the evidence you can't prove you did it. i have some spectacular footage for you guys of a natural phenomenon that you probably have not seen before. this is a volcano in indonesia and what you are seeing at the beginning of this video is

pyroclastic flow, that's something you have seen. we've seen a lot of video of erupting volcanos, the pyroclastic flow and the heat rushing down the mountain, it was sped up. it wasn't flowing quite this fast. but it's not this moment that's incredible. it's not this moment that is lighting up the internet. it's what happens directly after this. do you see that? >> oh, no way. like, tornadoes after that flow goes by? >> yeah, like, ash tornadoes. now, they're not really tornadoes. what happens as this pyroclastic flow comes down the side of the mountain, it heats the air over the land, causing that air to rise. and then the surrounding air starts rushing in to fill in that sort of vacuum that's created which causes this swirl, so it's created from the ground up, so people are particularly fascinated by this volcano because it has been dormant for so long and it showed activity back in 2010 and now we're getting all this incredible footage.

let's call this how to feed wild animals in australia. we start with a koala. this is in adelaide, australia, and the residents say the koala looked really thirsty and it's been warm for a few days and they decided to give it some water in a bowl. >> he wants to hold the bowl himself and be in control of the situation. >> it looks like they gave him a real dog bowl. watch it again. i love it. and it let them pet him. >> whoa. >> we jump from a koala to a ringtail opossum. recent bushfires in victoria, australia, that have destroyed several dozen homes but one home destroyed belonged to this little fella. this guy was found along the road by two police officers, so, of course, they had to give it a bottle of water because it's just so darn cute.

out for a second. this video if you haven't seen it already is the very definition of viral. over 5 million hits. people are loving this because how it ends. watch this. >> comes to rest. lens up. but somebody immediately finds it or something. >> yes! >> right? >> comes to rest in a pigpen. >> oh, that looks like the pig's brain but it's wrinkly old -- i've never seen the inside of a pig's mouth. that's fascinating. >> you got a kiss from a pig right there. >> this video was actually recorded last june. the camera lost for camera found. it landed on the farm and when they were cleaning up, they discovered this camera. but a lot of people are looking at this video and saying, hey, they are wondering is this just a really wild campaign for go pro? go proisn't s isn't saying muche people that found it are and

they are joining us "right this minute" on skype. put it to rest is it fake or not? >> it's real. >> we have two small kids and i'm a hairstylist and we do not have any time to be jumping out of planes or making videos. >> here's the go pro. >> has anyone come to claim the camera and say we are the people in the video? >> we haven't been contacted by anybody. >> how far did it travel from the pigpen to where you ultimately found it? >> ten feet away. >> how do you know it went back last june? >> i only know the date on the film when i looked it up when i pulled it off the pile june 30th, 2013 and there were about seven or eight other photos, they were all of skydiving. >> if the people do come forward i imagine you guys would just give the camera back? >> if they proved it was theirs, yes, their camera. >> have you used it since you found it? >> i did use it to see if it still work. >> he took a picture of me in the kitchen. it was really short.

device and watch videos anytime, anywhere you are. as far as extreme adventures go this one is top notch. really cool. it's called heli diving and it's heli cool. this is in iceland in a national park and these guys are going to sub ba dive in the waters of iceland but not just anywhere, they're going to dive in an area that's known as the sofa crack and i'll show you how cool the crack is. >> heli cool! >> they are in the helicopter to get to this area. they get geared up, they dive down. it's about 250 feet deep. they can go all the way to the bottom, but it's really, really fascinating. >> that's crazy because from above it looks like just a creek not a crack. it looks like maybe it's a tiny stream that would be just like a foot or two deep. >> once the diver positions himself in the right place he

can actually touch two different tectonic flats, the north american tectonic flate and the eurasian tectonic flate. >> you are saying it's a fault line? >> in the crack is the fault line and these trips, these journeys, are put together by a company in iceland and they are a service that basically takes you on the extreme amazing adventures. this is one of them. i would sign up if it wasn't so cold. once you get back up and you dry out, you get treated to delicious hot chocolate. you are done. you can check that off your bucket list. lots of snow in lots of places, you guys know that, so people trying to have fun in the conditions. snow days in alabama looks like they are trying to have their own fun out there and they are doing a pretty good job here. he's water skiing in the snow.

he's going pretty good. until here kind of sounds like he's screaming stop to his friend. and he's not stopping. >> they never do! until you bust your face just having a good time. >> what eventually takes this guy out they get to a part of the field that's not as snowy as the other part and you can see he goes down. his buddy loves it the whole time. from there we go to this guy who decided it was a good idea to do some skiing in shorty shorts but why not make those some kind of man thong. he really tucking it in there. but batch, hewatch he's a prett skier, hits this jump here and a jump in his mang thon thong. >> it would be bad to be there. >> nobody there to see it but us and the rest of the internet. >> and now on tv as well. once he gets to here, he hits this jump and he goes for a backflip.
