this morning, you can see there is still a pretty huge response out there even though the fire was a while ago, this is mission boulevard in fremont and fire trucks are still on the scene janine de la vega is still on the scene and it is wednesday, february 19th, i am pam cook. >> let's talk weather and traffic, steve, is something coming down from the sky in some areas? >> a little bit. >> yes. >> we do have some very, very light rain and also breezy and it will be cooler and light snow up in the sierra, there is not a lot here and our system is mainly a low cloud deck and there has been some over to sunnyvale and if you have any reports of rain, you can always tweet me.

on the scene on mission boulevard and you can't really see the structure that was on fire because it is behind those houses you see. but firefighters did find signs inside that house if the fire had been intentionally set and at this point, they are in the overhaul process and they are still putting out hot spots. several people called 911 at about 4:30 and they saw heavy smoke and flames for what appeared to be a four flex. during that time the structure partially collapsed when they searched inside they found it was vacant and had been red tagged. they discovered multiple areas inside where it appears the fires had been set and they believe this could be has son.

the 48 san lorenzo woman committed suicide. she was very upset about issues in her personal life. police are investigating a deadly accident involving a train and pedestrian. it happened in livermore. an ace computer train ran over and killed a person on the tracks. still not clear on what the person was doing there and what led up to that accident. the. bay area transit acts is say they -- agencies be installed after a deadly accident in southern california. they have installed external cameras but there are no cameras inside where the crew are. those calm ares will not be

and then at 4:00 there will be a rally at the pedestrian overpass. a new report suggests nearly 1 million workers could be lifted out of poverty. that report is from the nonpartisan congressional office. senate democrats are pushing to be increased from $7 to 25 cents per hour by 2016 and the report also finds such a pay raise could end up eliminating hatch a million jobs -- half a million jobs. some of them will soon get a lot less in their paychecks. starting money, they will make about $200 less every pay. workers say they are already
