body found this morning appears that to be of a homeless man. someone spotted the body at 7:30 a.m. the police do not suspect foul play. they are trying to determine the cause of death but he may have suffered from a medical problem. the veteran who saved a woman's life during a raider's game will be honored. he was leaving the game last november when he saw a woman jump from the third deck of the coliseum. he tried to catch her and broke the woman's fall. she was injured but survived. but now this friday he will be honored for his quick thinking. pulmonary embolism made her

a construction crew digging in front of a building ruptured a main at 1:00 p.m. and the wind blew gas into the underground parking structure. pg&e capped off the leak and residents were let back in. they say it is a good reminder for anyone digging to make sure you know where gas lines are. new at 5:00 p.m. the highest bridge official is demanding a list of problems related to the eastern span of the bay bridge saying he is frustrated over learning of defects from reporters. earlier ktvu's tom vacar took us on a tour deep inside the bridge that revealed leaks and puddling water. officials say he wasn't told about the problems. and only learned about them through the media. >> tom vacar is live with what needs to be brought to light here. >> reporter: very interesting. the once very solid ranks of

hundreds of millions of dollars oo fight california's drought. we told you about governor jerry brown's plan, the governor pledged $687 million in bond money to help. $15million for communities with dangerously low drinking water supplies. most of the money goes to water conservation and recycling efforts. ktvu's allie rasmus is live with more. >> we asked the largest water agencies whether they plan to impose mandatory water restrictions and so far the only one is the marin water

district. they sent out a flier warning customers if their water levels drop below 40,000 feet they will enact a 25% mandatory reduction for customers. we talked to other utilities. san francisco says they set no set date for mandatory restrictions yet but they are real responsibility in the future. by april 2 they will have a better idea of whether they need to impose mandatory restrictions. representatives from contra costa county they said it could be on the table but the earliest they would go in effect eis may and -- is may and east bay will have a better idea when they get their report on april 8. >> we need to see how much
