carriage but it did lead to her arrest and the children were taken by authorities. >> she's out there begging, too? >> she's out there begging for money. >> a pretty high-end stroller. >> police say the child was worn out by the time they got there. it keeps falling on the ground and she's dragging it around. >> no way to treat a kid. so close encounters in the deep blue sea, the first video a rescue off the coast of thailand and what these divers are rescuing is that whale shark. as the camera moves in closer to this whale shark, you notice what is trapped around this whale shark. it's a fishing net. and look right in this area. you can see that it looks like it's been there for a while because it has dug its way into the whale shark's skin. >> that's not a big gill is what you are saying. >> no. you can see debris and barn acls

have formed. and watch as the divers as a group try to get closer to this whale shark and they all spring into action. >> it's amazing. >> the thing is you don't know how the whale will react once you get up to him. it might get antsy and move around. >> it seems as if the whale shark almost seems like it's being helped. it seems so docile. right here as it's cutting this net away, it almost seems hike it's floating still in the water. >> yes. it seemed like they got it relatively easy. >> i was thinking it was on there so long it almost would have been stuck a little bit more. >> i hope that large cut, sore will heal and this animal can live on and long. >> i'm with you. after they do cut this net away, you get a close-up shot of that injury. it really does break your heart. look at that. >> ooh, boy. >> that looks painful. >> the poor thing. in this next video also close encounter could possibly be a rescue this is in the u.s.

ingredients for life. it's not often that a police officer is called to the scene of a shoplifting incident and he ends up being sentenced to 150 hours of community service. that happened to officer james kitty. he's 45. he's in london. the officer was called in the first place because of a difficult and aggressive woman.

that woman he's talking to is 30-year-old sara reid, and she was being held and they called him in because they wanted police to take her out of the store but you notice things get ugly pretty quickly. they grab her by the hair and his got his handcuffs and he's trying to subdue her but she's resisting. >> wasn't she sitting in the chair when he came in? >> she was sitting in the chair. in court he said she was snarling at him and bit his finger and he also claimed she had aids this obviously set the officer off because here he's not having any more of it after he drags her by the hair and pulls her out of the room, watch what he does punches her one, two, three times in the head and puts his knee on her back to finally subdue her. the judge said although the woman who he was subduing she was no shrinking violent it was an incident of loss of control and police say his behavior was wrong and they said this casts a shadow on all other officers in

the case because he was turned in by other police officers who saw what was going on who said, hey, this isn't right. it happened back in november of 2012. the officer was just sentenced. >> she did look like she was complying although we have no audio, we can't hear what she's saying, it doesn't look like she's trying to attack him in any way. >> even if she did, big deal, it looks like she's cooperating. >> kitty told the court the strikes were half power but he punched her three times in the head to subdue her and put his knee on the back. and she suffered lacerations to her back because of the broken glass. not only does he have to serve 150 hours of community service they say he has to pay money for prosecution costs and money for victim's surcharge. we all know one of the biggest rip-offs out there food and drinks at arenas, concession stands or stadiums, whatever, namely beers.
