>> a rookie robber pulls the old kill shot -- >> but this guy recognizes a cap gun 20 feet. >> why going all gangster didn't pay off. >> get ready to close your eyes. >> i need you to tell me what you are listening to. see if you're as surprised as we were. >> what you're about to see here, an intense situation in yang zow china. that's a car in a lake. aparentally a man driving lost control, and there is still a guy in the car. 28-year-old man the driver still trapped in there. these are mostly civilians. two guys there ready to do some winter swimming when they noticed what happened and they jump in the water. you see one guy went out there, looked like he tied a rope and a bunch of other people are pulling the rope like a tug of war to get this car close to

shore. look at all these people. the truck gets closer. two guys in the water, you see the door is open. this is actually kind of tough to watch right here. the guy reaches in and grabs this man and when he comes out -- >> oh, he's blue. oh, my goodness. >> he doesn't look good. everybody springs into action. they're dragging him ashore. eventually, of course, as you imagine, cpr begins here. emergency workers, firemen, did end up showing up to the scene. apparently he was unconscious for like 40 minutes, they said. at the end of the video, you see them loading the man into the back of an ambulance and they're still going, still doing the cpr on this guy. his heart beat and breathing did gradually resume later at the hospital. but apparently he's not completely in the clear yet. they save this man's life. what kind of condition he's going to be in, a couple of days from now, week from now, month

from now, that remains to be seen. but brave work by all the people, especially the guy that dove in. >> it takes a detective to figure up this kid is up to no good. he comes walking into a australian convince store with a ski mask over his head. he's standing there, looking around, not very threatening. here comes the owner. then the guy reaches into his waistband, throws a bag on the counter and says give me all your money and then pulls a gun gangster style, points it right in the owner's face. the owner if you notice leaning in on this guy. saying, you're not getting any of my money. the guy not afraid of this robber or the gun at all. why? owner steve york says he's been around guns all his life. and he recognizes a cap gun when he sees it. >> good eye. >> now he has to embarrass him, he's like, yeah, i guess you're right. and walks out. >> he just slinks away.

>> police are looking for the guy. the next guy even dumber. >> really? >> wearing a hoodie. he's trying to smash in the front doors of this building. he threw a couple of beer cans at the doors. that did not break it. he goes over and tears down one of the heavy duty light fixtures, smashes through the front glass doors of the ferndale washington police department. >> what? >> smashes through. gets into the lobby of the police station. this all happened in december. the video just recently released. police did figure out that that is darryl ryan stacy, 22 years old. they never got a clear image of the space from the video, but good detective work led them to his facebook page. >> wow. >> they -- police remembered they had broken up a party that stacy was at. then they checked his facebook page and showed the samekered h

>> he just did a 180 on the rope. >> the extent someone will go to get the beaver. >> bears are very strong, but we didn't know they were so acrobatic. >> right. >> there he goes. >> and you may be wondering, did he get the meat? no. didn't get the meat. >> didn't get the beaver. >> he worked so hard for it. >> that's the worst. >> this entire video was shot by a guy named pat garrett and they're telling me this bear turned out to be a she, not a he. we have pat garrett via skype from alberta. why was this beaver hanging there? >> we put as much meat and cookies on it as we can because the cubs haven't eaten for six months. we try to feed them because they're hungry. >> why make it such a challenge then for the bear?

>> because there is seven or eight bears on the same plate and the big male bears will actually take all the food and not let mom take it for their cubs. so i thought, okay, well, big male bears, they can't climb trees as good as she could, so i thought, well, if i put it up high, she'll get it for her cub. >> wow. have you seen anything like this before? is this first time you capture a bear doing this? >> we have seen them stand on top of barrels. we have seen them tip barrels over. lots of different things, but this is definitely the first time i've seen this happen. >> what is the status of the beaver? did the bear come back or what happened after? >> oerh, yeah, she came back fi minutes later. i sat in the tree for ten hours and i started to film. as soon as i seen her coming, that's what i captured on film. i couldn't believe it. >> what do you do in the tree for ten hours? >> i don't know. i'm just glad she's okay.

and the cubs are too. >> the video of this toddler and this baker will break your heart. the woman in the video is presumed to be the mother of this toddler. there is a string attached to that little boy. and she is going from person to person begging for money. if you notice, that boy appears to be exhausted. that's what police say. this happened in poland. somebody saw what was going on. called the police. then started filming with their camera. this was caught on cctv. you see her dragging this child around like a rag doll. you see he's tired. can't stand up. she's still begging for money. >> she has a stroller. put the kid in the stroller. why are you dragging the kid? >> there is already a baby in the carriage. but it did lead to her arrest and the children were taken by authorities. >> she's out there begging too. >> begging for money. >> high end stroller.

you'll need to hold your breath for this one. this is an incredible rescue off the coast of sao paulo, brazil. a family of five swept out of the shallow waters into deeper waters and are in desperate dire need of assistance right now. they're drowning basically. this firefighter on a jet ski races out to them. immediately comes upon three people. he grabs that one girl. whips her up on the back. there is two more. those people are so anxious to get out of the water, they dump this jet ski and the firefighter over. this young girl, you can see, she's barely able to breathe. she's clinging to this jet ski. the firefighter trying to help her on board. now, firefighter's got three people, but i remember i said this is a family of five. he has to make the decision to

speed past those other two family members, right there. he can't take all five. he guns it right back to the shore and drops them off. this young girl is terrified. she doesn't want to get off the jet ski. she's too afraid. he's yelling at her, i have to get the rest of your family. >> oh, my gosh. >> he basically had to shove her off. now, full speed ahead, back out to the deeper water. now, this is where it gets desperate. that one woman is already slipping beneeath the water. he misses her on first pass. the fireman now races back around. she's barely keeping her head above water. he ditches the jet, jumps in and rescues her. swims back to the jet ski. the man in the water also able to swim back to the jet ski and clutch on. >> she was almost gone. >> she was. you saw her head clearly dip beneath the water. here, he gets the girl up off

the back of the jet ski. the man is clinging to the front. she was let go and worked his way to the back. had to plead with this man to let go of the jet ski, he's got him, and guide him to the back. >> you know, they must be exhausted. firefighter now safely rushing those two people, get back on to the jet ski, brings them back to shore. the family reunion is almost -- brings a tear to your eye. there are always wacky animal high jinks at the cougar national park. this little elephant is climbing an electric fence. see that? one leg over. and the other leg over. it wants that branch so bad. he noticed earlier in the day that the electric fence had been turned off. >> that's interesting. he noticed that it wasn't going to hurt him. went pack and went for it. i like that he didn't go
