bridge toll plaza traffic does look good all the way into the city. drive time is 10 may be less than that and also looking at the commute on 580, it doesn't look bad into the livermore valley and in the east bay traffic here looks good. 4:31 let's go back to the desk. we begin with developing news as the investigation is underway into an early morning fire in oakland. ktvu's i believe they are telling you the location much this fire and that's raising some red flags. >> when they first got here on mcarthur boulevard this morning, they found two separate fires, one was near the front of the store and one was near the back of the store. that is why an arson investigator was called in according to investigators and this fire was reported and this

small market is near 82nd avenue. 20 firefighters were able to get this under control quickly and right away there appeared to be fire in two distinct locations of the store. crews found it was locked up with no evidence of a break-in. >> not only having fire in two distinct locations, you have a location locked up and secure, where we had to force entry and that in itself was rare that the fires would begin inside two separate locations inside a secure building. >> inside the store likely us canned about $100,000 in damage according to arson investigators. they will be now checking for evidence of accelerants and along with the owner of the store as well, at this point

the arson investigator believes this fire was intentionally set early this morning. live in oakland, alex savage ktvu channel 2 morning news. a person is accused of a deadly accident that killed a mother and four grown children. they arrested tyler larson and he is the driver of the pickup truck that jumped the sidewalk and killed the woman sunday night. concord police received a tip from the chp and that led them to both the suspect and his chevy silverado pickup truck in antioch. >> we found his car parked on the street and we were able to take a good look at it and at which point based on the evidence at that point he was arrested and brought to concord. >> 46-year-old yolanda was killed in sunday night's crash. shed been living on the street while sometimes staying with

friends. there was surveillance video of her pushing a shopping cart just moments before she was hit. >> a warning to people trying to out run the train. caltrans tweeted this and you can hear the crossing gate bells and then one man barely making it across the tracks in time. they posted the video to remind people to be cautious around the track. the man accused of trying to run over two police officers is due back in court. he is scheduled to be brought up on charges. he tried to back his car into two officers. adam shaw was shot in the arm during that incident but san francisco police say shaw's partner may have wounded him

during the chaos and this man is being used as a fall guy. and now into the deadly hit- and-run crash earlier this month, this has taken a strange turn. the driver was chasing down a car theater and we have exclusive surveillance video of that car theft in progress. you can see the thief in a hooded sweatshirt getting into an unlocked honda. the owner then gets into a mini- van to chase the thief. >> we are thankful surveillance video did come forward. the man trying to help his friend got back in the stolen car and was killed in the crash, his friend was seriously injured. the friend is still on the loose. and three high school students and a 76-year-old man

is being credited for rescuing two went from their homes. it happened in san ramon month. -- san ramon. three teens were driving in the neighborhood and jumped out to help. a 94-year-old woman and her daughter were inside that house. the woman is in the hospital still recovering from burns and investigators have still trying to figure out how that fire started. a house fire started over the weekend was set on purpose. whoever did that also likely stole a car an audi a-4. the fire started on fordham way on slat key avenue. they are looking for california license plate 5hjm491. anybody with information is asked to call police. people across the bay area

suspects among the missing plane and they are looking into the backgrounds of all passengers and crew. vice-president joseph biden arrived in poland a little more than two hours ago on a trip to white house and they are ready to show resolve into neighbor being -- neighboring ukraine. later today he is traveling to lithuania. the white house says the vice- president will reaffirm its commitment to its nato allies. and flying another country's flag over city hall is being shut down by the city's mayor. the idea was to fly the city's that flag and they say it is a simple of oppression.
